The 36th Division troops also directed several airstrikes in Zeitoun against Hamas operatives, as well as located a rocket-making lab, weapons, explosive devices, a drone, and a tunnel inside a mosque in the neighborhood. (7/7)

WH spox John Kirby on the use of the word "genocide":"Israel is not trying to wipe the Palestinian people off the map ... Israel is trying to defend itself against a genocidal terrorist threat ... If we're going to start using that word, fine. Let's use it appropriately."

Is it just me?
Or, are many doubting the sincerity of International Agencies?

Why would ANY international agency, (with alphabets or not)
allow and hide the perpetrators of such evil?

Ponder away...
Job security, imo.

Important to note that the CCTV footage inside Al Shifa clearly shows men with guns, something nearly all the doctors and officials there have denied any knowledge of in interviews since Oct 7th.

I noticed something here. It also appears to be the same hall in the CCTV video

JERUSALEM — Israel’s military on Sunday released video of
what it said was a 55-meter section of a fortified tunnel running 10 meters beneath the Al Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza City, seeking to bolster its allegations that Hamas has used the largest medical center in the Palestinian enclave as a base for its military operations.

Red bolding mine.

IDF says it exposed tunnel under Al Shifa Hospital
Red bolding mine.

Several days earlier, the IDF had released what it said was the first batch of evidence, which included weapons and ammunition they said they found inside the hospital itself.
RBM. (red bolding mine)

Israeli army says it finds tunnel, weapons at Gaza's Al Shifa hospital.
RBM.

IDF publishes footage of what it says is Hamas tunnel at al-Shifa hospital.

Did Israel Find a Tunnel Under Al-Shifa Hospital ? What Video Shows

RBM.

Regarding the red bolded : There's a disturbing trend of wording, regarding the IDF being made to prove everything.
It may or may not be -- but some media (not all) seems slanted against Israel.

Why does Israel have to prove everything and Hamas doesn't have to do this ?

Instead, Hamas is taken at their word by many, including people abroad who are not there witnessing this conflict.
Hamas has not been called out by anyone other than Israel for claiming that the hospital was only used for medical purposes when there's evidence showing otherwise.

All that's needed is fair and impartial reporting and maybe this could change ?
Omo.
I've noticed this as well, Chimera, and it's  very annoying. I think waaay down deep, people know who the villain is, and are aware of what Hamas is doing but no one in their right mind wants to "call them out". Notice how it's Palestinians who've lost everything who are now willing to risk sharing 'intel' with IDF. That should tell you something. jmo

I think level headed people are starting to realize this now. I’ve seen a shift on SM. Actually, saw some apologies by some who now realize they were wrong. They, now, see Hamas for who they are and the devastation they cause to so many.

Moo...in my opinion Hamas is just a bunch yahoos, I seriously cannot take them as a world wide threat. They are fringe dwellers, like neo nazis and other extremists. They do not represent the Palestinians that is where I disagree. Israel is under the command of a corrupt politician who has no future in politics. This is his last stand, his ego will rule this war. Moo he cares about winning not hostages....moo
Is HAMAS not THE governing body in Gaza? I believe they were elected in to power in 2006. They ARE the leaders of Gaza.

Moo....both sides are killing civilians..imoo.. neither side is righteous. Hamas killed about 2000? iDF killed about 10000+, so Israel is winning if death count is how wars are won.
Who's history do you not care about? Both sides speak of oppression....moo
BBM. Which is why the hostage families are very angry at the politicians right now. Their heartbreak and outrage seems to be falling on deaf ears.

BBM
Families of several hostages vehemently oppose the bill, fearing it will only exacerbate the plight of their loved ones in Gaza.

“Stop talking about killing Arabs and start speaking about saving Jews,” one man, whose wife and daughter were abducted, shouted back at MPs.

A cease fire is just not in Israel's best interest right now. They have Hamas on the ropes. Yes there are 200 hostages. But Hamas murdered 1500 and have said they will do it again. So, if you compare 200 to 1500 in the next slaughter, it makes no sense to cease fire. That sucks for the hostages and their families. But it is reality. Hamas must be destroyed.

Part of the reason: Western journalists are not allowed by Israel into Gaza to verify information. CNN was recently given a tour of Gaza by the IDF. This is to allow the western media to verify their information. IDF has also given tours to the BBC and New York Times. ‘A war needs field reporting from both sides’: French media appeal for access to Gaza

Media often states they cannot verify info if they can't. Many western journalist are getting their info third hand. They also cannot verify what Hamas or the Palestinians in Gaza say either. In the US, they have press privileges which allow them to verify information. Generally, the western media is located in Israel and they can often verify what they see in Israel and they have sources they work with over there. However, western media does not have access to Gaza.

My link has absolutely nothing to do with a cease fire. The hostage families are begging the politicians to not enact the death penalty because they fear it will be an incentive for Hamas to kill their loved ones. I agree with them.

BBM. I hope the US goal is to have as many hostages released as possible...and then the corrupt politician will be removed from his "command."

On August 6th, 2001, President George W. Bush received, in his PDB, (the Presidential Daily Briefing), information entitled “Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in U.S.”

This information was not completely disregarded, as U.S. intelligence knew somewhat about him and his maniac group called Al-Qaeda.

They knew Bin Ladin was an Islamic extremist, but most of the PDB was determined to be “historical information” and not an imminent threat.

He was seen as a rich Saudi who chose to live in caves with his followers, and who had participated with the U.S. in fighting in Afghanistan. Not much credence was given to the videos he had made threatening the United States.

I don’t know where you are located nor how old you are, and it’s not my business.

But, if like me, you live in NYC…if, like me, you had a then 19-year old child working a few blocks away from the World Trade Center…, if, like me, you knew 10 people who died there…you might feel differently.

These terrorists mean what they say, they are determined and patient, and as long as Hamas’ charter demands the death of ALL Jews, then all Christians, then everyone of any other religion…plus the destruction of America…IMO believe them when they tell you who they are.

ETA: One of my vivid memories of that day, besides parents coming to my school all day to take their children home, was having to use my windshield wipers to get all this crazy dust off my windshield…I don’t think I realized at the time that the dust was ashes, of people and of steel that the prevailing wind brought to my area. The people I personally knew who died there would not want their ashes to be ignored when their deaths should serve as a warning NOW.

Here's another link:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office helped coordinate today’s Knesset panel discussion, led by the far-right Otzma Yehudit party, to discuss dead-on-arrival legislation to impose the death penalty on terrorists, Channel 12 reports.

The families of hostages in Gaza had reached out to government ministers begging them not to go forward with the legislation, arguing that it puts the lives of their loved ones at risk.

But Otzma Yehudit went ahead with today’s hearing, regardless, sparring aggressively with the hostages’ families during the session.

Father of 9-yo hostage just wants her back:

But despite reports negotiators are nearing a deal to release some of the captives, Emily's father, Thomas Hand, is doubtful.

"Until I have notification that she has been released, I won't believe anything," he told Sky News.

"There have been so many different reports that turned out to be not true. So no, I can't keep going into hope and to a high, and then crash down. It's just too hard."

If an agreement is reached it could see the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israel - but that doesn't bother him.

Speaking after a press conference at the Israeli embassy in London, Mr Hand said: "Give [Hamas] what they want. I don't care if they give 100 terrorists for her return or each person.

"I don't care how many, just get my daughter back."

I think the most important thing that could come out of this war is for the Palestinians to be given a genuine opportunity to start over-- government, economy, civics, etc. No more being controlled by the "Palestinian Mafia", no more Welfare State (sorry, alphabet soup), no more controversial Israeli military tactics. May be a pipe dream, but...
ETA: Because terrorists  and civilians are aiding IDF with intel, I believe there's the  slightest of a chance... jmo
