State Department spokesman Matthew Miller was prompted on Iran's involvement during a Monday morning CNN appearance. "We don't have any direct intelligence at this point that would show Iran's direct involvement in this terrorist attack," he said. "We will continue to examine what information we can about what directly led to these attacks and whether or not Iran or any other country may have been involved, but at this point, we don't have any evidence to confirm that."

Key word is, “direct” intelligence.

Yes.
Very dignified to send families videos of them raping their daughter. Very dignified to send pictures of them beheading soldiers. Very dignified taking babies from their mothers. Savages.

I wish the media wouldn't air their propaganda.

Israeli media is not airing the propaganda.
Hamas terrorists are sharing photos and videos all over social media.
The IDF and police have requested that no photos, videos or information be shared on social media.

Air raid sirens sounded throughout the centre of Jerusalem after the Palestinian militant group Hamas said they fired rockets towards the city. The militant group said they targeted Jerusalem in response to the targeting of civilian homes in the Gaza Strip.

The sirens echoed through the empty streets across Jerusalem, as frightened people ran to air raid shelters below ground. Moments after the sirens ended, two loud but distant thuds marked the sound of the sound of exploding artillery fire.

Most of the streets across the normally busy city were devoid of traffic, with only a line of cars leading towards Mount Herzl for the funeral of a lone British soldier who died fighting with the Israeli military on the border with Gaza.

The Times of Israel said there were no immediate reports of damage despite residents across the city hearing explosions.

Iranian president says Tehran will spend the $6 billion released in prisoner exchange ‘wherever we need it’

Of course.
Yes, the $6 billion was designated for “humanitarian purposes,” but what does that mean to people with no humanity?

Obviously they will spend it how they wish. To sponsor terror.

Would you give a fortune to people who want to destroy you and everyone you love?

IMO the U.S. needs to re-freeze that money ASAP.

Also, I take no joy in people in Gaza having no food, etc., but in the words of children everywhere, “they started.”

''Photographic evidence has emerged of civilians shot dead at bus stops, on roads, and in their cars, while numerous videos have shown Israeli civilians, including mothers, elderly women, and children being abducted and taken captive to Gaza.

Two videos in particular have raised concerns of sexual assault against women, one of which shows a woman apparently bleeding into her shorts being taken out of a vehicle in Gaza; the woman is alive. The other video shows a woman stripped down to her underwear lying face down in a truck''

“Hamas has committed a long list of crimes in this attack for which have been documented, including the killing of civilians, taking civilians captive, and abusing the bodies of civilians and soldiers,” said Prof. Yuval Shany, an expert in international law and a lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.''

''Hamas operatives are seen celebrating and cheering in the pickup truck in which they had placed Louk’s body, which was contorted in an unnatural angle, while Palestinians surrounding the truck shouted, “Allahu Akbar” [God is greatest in Arabic]. Two of the men spit on her.''

''A separate video posted by Israel’s Foreign Ministry shows a red-haired woman being hauled out of a jeep full of terrorist operatives, and pulled along by her hair. The seat of her pants was stained red.''

''Asked about the apparently high number of women who have been kidnapped, Shany said it was too soon to know if there was a specific intent to target women by Hamas or if there was a pattern of sexual assault, noting that combat operations are ongoing and testimonies are yet to be taken.''

There was just a huge explosion on the live stream that resulted in a ton of secondary explosions. IDF must have hit a place where they were storing ammo.

www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/israel-announces-complete-siege-of-gaza-cutting-its-electricity-food-water-and-fuel/ar-AA1hV1v9

"Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced on Monday that he has ordered a "complete siege" of the Gaza strip, according to the Times of Israel.

"There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed," he was reported as telling commanders at the Israel Defense Forces' Southern Command.

"We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly," he added, per the paper's translation of his remarks."

And the US death toll is up to 9

Arab League foreign ministers are set to meet on Wednesday to discuss ways “to stop the Israeli aggression” against the Gaza Strip, the pan-Arab group said in a statement Reuters reported.

An Egyptian intelligence official told the Associated Press that said Egypt had spoken repeatedly with the Israelis about “something big,” without elaborating.

“We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big. But they underestimated such warnings,” said the official.

Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf said today his wife’s parents have been caught up in the aftermath of Hamas’s weekend attack on Israel, AFP reported.

“They’ve been in Gaza and are currently trapped in Gaza, I’m afraid,” he told reporters.

Yousaf said the Israeli authorities had told his parents-in-law to leave but not guaranteed safe passage.

Key word is, “direct” intelligence.

EVERYBODY knows Iran was a major player here and our failed foreign policy is a major contributor.
It is an embarrassment to watch our State Dept respond this way. They are spending their time parsing words while this extremely serious conflict rages and threatens to expand.
Show some guts and call Iran out.
