This picture is the relative size of most 25 cal handgun.
As you can see if it was in a holster it would take a bit of time to get one of these little guns out.
It would also if loaded with a shell in the chamber and ready to fire that the possibility of it going off just from picking it up wrong would be quite possible.
That is why most people do not leave a live shell in the chamber and ready to fire.
If they did leave the gun in a ready to fire mode they sure wouldn’t leave it with the safety in the off position.
This is why Jodi said the gun was in a holster then she couldn’t remember if the gun was in a holster or not.
If it was in a holster Travis would have surely caught her by the time she could have got it out of a holster.
I think if they brought a gun expert into court with one of these guns and showed the jury the loading and firing procedure, putting the safety off and taking one out of a holster that it would prove she brought the gun with her.
She said she had no experience with guns so how would she even know it was loaded and how to fire it.
There is no way she could have had time to check if it was loaded and ready to fire.
If you had no experience with a gun like this you wouldn’t even know where the safety button or lever was.
Holsters come in a wide variety but a common trait with mst of them is they come with a strap that holds the gun in the holster so it won’t fall out.
