They convienently never mention if its a wood bat, a small bat like you get on Bat Day, or a plastic (think "whiffle") bat. I'm, inclined to think it was plastic. I know everyone assumes wood bat, when I first heard it I thought "Good Lord!!!" Then I thought about it and realized they NEVER said wooden bat. And they also NEVER say plastic bat. Just "baseball bat" and you are left to define or visualize they type of bat yourself.

If it was wooden and her parents didn't immediately get Jodi a check-up from the neck-up, shame on them.

If her Dad was so mean and intimidating, wonder what her punishment was if she really did beat her little brother with a wooden baseball bat. Seems like THAT beating would have been specific and very memorable yet Jodi doesn't elaborate whatsoever.

(For reference, I remember hitting my little brother with a whiffle ball bat. NOT quite the same as wooden bat!!!!)

Our Katie did great. Her new friend to the left was just a little too cheerful and happy for the occasion. Our Katie brought it back into perspective that this is serious and someone was murdered and someone needs to be held accountable.

I think that it will be interesting when Jodi answers juror questions because although she is a good actress and can prepare statements well, I don't think she will do very good off the cuff answering those questions. Remember all the mistakes she made when talking to Flores? She's gonna be caught in a lot more lies by them and then when Juan questions her....OMG...that is going to be unbelievably wonderful!

Yes, I am sure the answers we are hearing from her on the stand are very coached and she has studied her script well. In fact I bet she spent last night and will again tonight, and everynight for as long as she testifies, in her cell reading her "script".

The defense team is just as much a challenge for her as the State, imo. She's had years to think about her story. She's prepared for the prosecution and any questions the jury may ask, imo.

I don't think Jodi can fake acting remorseful for killing Travis. She is a poor liar and has only one act: quiet whispering and meekness. The jurors should notice that she doesn't/can't act remorseful. She is an psychopath with poor acting abilities.

The premeditation evidence is overwhelming. And the overkill.. the pictures of his throat.

I predict that she will have "blame it on someone else" statement for everything she says.

I think this is going to hideously backfire on her and I will watch every second of it just to bear witness to this nightmare that Travis' family and friends have had to go thru.

jodi would have had a better shot if they just stuck to the expert witnesses - she might have even done better w/ the ninja story - but now that she decided to go on the stand - :jail:
