I personally like the def draaagggging this out. It gives the pros that much more time to PREPARE for the ehhh. .... hit!

During the Jason Young trial, that was the problem. NO ONE expected the def to testify, he did, quick, then the pros was up and was NOT prepared and messed up! They fortunately got another try and got it right!

Since Jodi's parents allegedly abused her, I wonder if CPS ever visited the home, or if Jodi's teachers reported that the girl was being abused. I think not, but maybe we'll learn more about this as her testimony continues.

Would the prosecutor be able to call Jodi's parents during rebuttal?

Yes, they can.

It's great to feel so welcome by this sarcastic comment and many others "liking" the sarcastic attack on my original comment. I must have missed that portion of her testimony yesterday, since that was the entire scope of my original comment. I didn't hear JA make any references to any of those things in her testimony yesterday. Guess I will go back to not commenting on a site that clearly isn't as receptive as I thought to different perspectives. Good luck.

Oh, please don't leave. Different perspectives really are welcome. I think posters who have been following this case for years are panicked at the thought that Travis' murderer may get away with it. So there is a bit of frustration.

But I think you stated somewhere that you had seen Jodi's interviews already, hence cuckoo's question.

Btw, sometimes thanking a post is just a way of marking for people what posts they have read and where they left off.

Either way, we respect you and would like you to stick around.

Twitter is saying that everyone is there but Jodi.

I wonder how many thousands of people around the world just lost a half hour of productivity because we are all glued to our monitors wanting to watch JA testify.

I was in high school/college in the mid-60s/early 70s, so my knowledge of more current dating trends is very limited. That Jodi always had to be in a relationship with a guy reminds me of girls in high school and college who had to have a boyfriend. Most of these young women were very clingy and jealous when they weren't the center of attention to the current love interest. Without a beau, these gals were nothing or believed that they were nothing because having a guy was the most important thing to them. Didn't matter what the guy looked like or what type of person he was, some girls were joined at the hip with their boyfriends. This is what Jodi's relationships sound like - that she felt like she was a nobody unless she had a guy to love and care for her on her terms. :moo:

:moo:I hope she will talk about her cat...that feline that made all those marks.. im very interested in that subject. I think the cat gave her some disease you know and she became OUT OF CONTROL or maybe got drugged on catnip

Does anyone have live stream yet?

  • #334
Yes, they can.

IMO the prosecution would never call her family members in rebuttal. Even if they made numerous previous statements against her. It's their daughter and the risk that they would lie to save her life is just too great.

anything from anybody? Still the seal?????? :fence:

Hi kidz! I was here during the Conrad Murray trial, then life intervened. Watching the Defendant take the stand is always fun. At the rate they went yesterday, I suspect her lawyer will have her on direct all day today. One other thing: no doubt the flat affect will be used by Defense "experts" as evidence of prior abuse. The cross will be fascinating.

No can do, I would be drunk within the first 15 minutes since I'm not a drinker! :rocker:
