But I'm sure, just like with Casey Anthony, she does not meet the legal definition of insane.

How crazy is that?! But I know that psychopath doesn't always equal insane.

Most psychopaths dont murder anyone. They are ruthless though and that is why several of them are CEOs of large companies or very successful people. They dont care who they trample to get to the top and stay there. The only one they care about is themselves.

For selfish reasons, I hope it is not. I love to watch Juan Martinez at work. With previous witnesses, as we watched him dig for the truth, we saw him hunt it, kill it, dress it, wrap it up and hand it to the jury. It was a breathtaking performance. I'm in standing ovation mode, hoping for an encore.

Yes, good points.. however is it smart for Juan to do the same with the defendant? will Juan look cruel to JA atleast to 1 juror? and if she cries will Any jurors feel sympathy?
I question this alot!

Psychopaths are frequently successful in talking their way out of trouble—"I've learned my lesson;" "You have my word that it won't happen again;" "It was simply a big misunderstanding;" "Trust me." They are almost as successful in convincing the criminal justice system of their good intentions and their trustworthiness.

 Hi Kimster!

"....they will still pee on your leg and tell you it’s raining." Love that saying! :floorlaugh:

Why am I having the urge to shave off my eyebrows and draw them on way above where they were originally?

Pencil in a tasteful little moustache, too. :floorlaugh:

Oh, absolutely she doesn't.

I think she lit upon "self-defense" and then was stuck on that path. If not, she'd be on to her 4th or 5th version/motivation because she has virtually nothing to support her self-defense claim. Because nothing exists.

OMG... she's kind of "chuckling and smiling" as she tells how Bobby put her in a stranglehold and she almost passed out and then fell on her knees..?!!

That is NOT a typical response to reliving such a horrid memory. I know there are people who show inappropriate emotion as a sign of nervousness or other disorders. But what I just caught of that chuckle & slight smile comes off more as GLEE! ... Would it be:

-- Glee at having had such (dangerous) excitement in her life?
-- Or the glee of pulling the wool over the jury's eyes, having fun LYING?
Or the sadistic glee a predatory psychopath feels when maligning another?

I have had my tv muted as cannot listen to this german woman on IS. Bye bye lady!

WTF did they get her and why continue to have her on.

IS needs to do a Nilsen study to see how many switch channels or mut or do their hair when she comes on.

Think I will plan on having plans every day when she is on!

Purely out of curiosity (I'm German myself), who is that German woman on IS (I'm assuming that's a show or a channel?)

She certainly loves to talk about herself, doesn't she? I believe she's making things up as she goes along. She fancies herself quite clever.

Her lawyers should tell her not to look so happy and animated while spinning her yarns. There is something very distateful about it.

Here's my old frenemy: "OMG! I'm so sorry. I didn't even think of that. And you are so sweet, too. I can't believe I didn't think of how you would feel. It's just that I get so focused. You know how passionate I am, and I was just thinking of myself. God. Will you forgive me? You mean so much to me; don't be mad! Here, let me take you out and get a tirimisu. We'll have a girl's night."

I swear, most people don't apologize nearly as well as a psychopath, if the psychopath is clever enough like the one I experienced. She'd steal the money for the girl's night from our other friend's purse, naturally.

You know that actually makes me furious. It shows some really believe if a defendant is a female they should be handled differently by a prosecutor even though they are a stone cold viscious murderer.:furious:

If the defendant was a male they would expect Juan to give him hell...rightly so.

I hate the double standards in this country sometimes.

Yeah! While inside they are thinking "oh shoot! I didn't mimic that one correctly. It worked when Joanie did it that way. Stupid Joanie. I'll copy Susie next time. Everybody likes Susie".

she not only knew where he worked, she knew where his boss lived and his boss' wife and children's names, where they vacationed, what cars they drove. What car her bf drove and when the oil was changed. How long his phone contract was and what month/year he could upgrade without penalty, and if there was a penalty for early exit, what the cost was, how many kWh he used of electricity on his house meter, and when his prostate was last checked and his latest cholesterol result and if his lipitor worked or caused his liver enzymes to elevate, how the son did in school since she went to parent night as the doting future step mom.

(I think i should have stopped at 1 cup of coffee at 5am)

Can you PUH-LEASE start your own blog, thread or something with all of your fabulous commentary?!?!?! I almost missed this! I hate going page by page but it's worth it when i see stuff like this!! i LITERALLY lol'd on this one!

I just got back. Are we on break?

Yes, the pain has temporarily been stopped.

Uh, I believe Admins/Mods provide refreshments during lengthy trials.
:waiting:

Yes, they should. :snooty:

No I'm just a computer user. I can't take it anymore. I got up at 5am to do laundry. It's naptime. :offtobed: Hopefully HLN will take over the trial coverage so I can listen while I lay down. I'll wait for JVM to sum it up.

Even her story of cutting school was hogwash! Jodi's perfect... She cut class to study! Please!

Then why was she failing when she dropped out?
