It really horrifies me that some people can actually identify with this evil murderer and praise any of her creepy actions.

To me, that lets me know exactly who are the potential cult followers.

I can identify with her. I know the pain of being hurt/rejected/cheated on.
I know what it is to be angry and disappointed in myself in placing trust where it is not deserved and just making poor decisions in general.

The thing I do not understand is how someone can believe that murdering will relieve that pain.

My daughter is Jodi's age. When she was young her pediatrician advised to use an inanimate object to threaten a swat on the bottom. He recommended a wooden spoon. I thought that was interesting as it must have been during those years. I never used it and wouldn't have. Plus she heard him say that and when we got home she hid it!

I feel so very sorry for all the lives Jodie has been involved with (including her family.) She has trashed everyone and we don't even know if any of it is true or not. Poor Darryl did so much for her and she really did a great job on his reputation today. I suppose she didn't consider the fact that he has a son who will hear this. What a horrible person she is!

I don't think she deserves the death penalty. Even before she started testifying I've thought this. Travis was a willing participant in this twisted relationship and kind of egged her on in a way. If he didn't string her along, this wouldn't have happened. He supposedly believed she stalked him to point of slashing his car tires, and yet he still would flirt text her, phone sex her, and real sex her. Her actions screamed "stay away, hazardous conditions" but he wouldn't heed the obvious. He didn't deserve death for that, but I don't think she does either.

It's obvious her testimony of abuse is solely to save her life. Her "he attacked me" claim is bs and they know it. It was obviously premeditated. There are multiple lines of evidence to support premeditation. There is no doubt about it. They know they have shown no evidence to support an attack by Travis. The evidence in fact contradicts it. All they have is her completely non-credible word. And if Travis attacked her, tried to kill her, then it doesn't matter if she was abused or not. Yet the testimony isn't meant to prove he attacked her. It's meant to explain excuse the heinous overkill of the murder. Even if she attacked, while she would have the right to defend herself, she wouldn't have the right to stab/throatcut/headshot. I agree she doesn't deserve death but not for the reasons they're trying to give here.

This would make a great discussion thread. I have often asked myself what would constitute the death penalty for ME if I were on a jury.

I know without a doubt I would have no trouble giving death to some low life that hurt, raped, killed a child. Or a heinous crime that resulted in the death of the victim. Or premeditation. Which I believe this is.

Part of me does not believe that Jodi was so used and abused all her life that she just snapped as Travis was the last straw. I think Jodi’s use and and abuse possibly contributed to the sociopath she seems to be. So when the time came, she had no problem planning and carrying out the murder of Travis, who would not take her to Cancun.

Have you noticed that Jodi lifts her voice up at the end of sentences with sad information. Most people drop their voice in pitch. She lifts it in ValleyGirl style, almost like she is asking a question. Totally robs it of any emotion.

What a BS story!! Notice how she always "innocently" finds out when her man is cheating? She "accidentally" sees love letters on a computer or these mysterious people came and told her about another BF was cheating.

The truth is that she probably snoops and stalks and THAT is how she finds out but she doesn't want to say that. Just like she was eavesdropping at C. & S. H's house when they were telling TA that Jodi was no longer welcome at their house because she creeped them out.

Exactly. If you listened closely she said that 4 people who worked with Martin visited her restaurant.. They knew Martin but did not know her. That's what she said. In another breath she says that they said hi to her (?) and then took a vote to see if they should tell her about Bianca. WTF?

Why would they do any such thing? They don't know Jodi. They are not her friends. Only in her mind would she be important enough that they would sit around talking about her and then vote to tell her what confirms her suspicions -again- about a cheating boyfriend.

Best guess- those 4 peeps never existed.

I'd say go find Bianca and get her to spill, but I'd bet she doesn't exist either, or at least by that traceable name.
