Why didn't the Def ask her if there was any lettering on the back of the tshirt?

Because they want it to appear that he made that shirt as a way to declare ownership of her! They won't ask her what the back says because she'd either have to (get to?) lie or admit that the shirt was for his blog, not for her! Hopefully Juan asks!

I agree with you sort of. If you just listen to her words and watch her demeanor without knowing anything else and without trying to make overall sense of her testimony -- she comes across as telling the truth.

And I think much of her testimony is actually truthful. I think other parts are the "truth" as she perceives it; and other parts are flat out fabrication.

That said, when you consider what she is actually saying and try to make sense of it, there are things that don't add up and therefore lend an air of overall lack of credibility to her testimony. It is impossible to tell what's true and what's not, so I think the jury may simply disregard her testimony entirely as lacking credibility.

Furthermore, her testimony has given no indication that Travis was abusive or ever committed any acts of physical or sexual assault against her (or anyone else for that matter), and that is really all that matters for purposes of guilt/innocence.

IMO she and her lawyers all know she will be convicted, and they are simply trying to save her from the death penalty. I've said this before -- the only reason they raised the self defense justification was to allow them to bring in some negative info about Travis. They all know he was not abusive, and they know she does not truly have a self defense case. Their only hope is to try to offset the total brutality and horrific nature of how she killed Travis -- and the only way to do that is to try to make Travis look bad and hope someone feels a little bit sorry for her.

See minor, This is the part I have a horrible problem with:

the only reason they raised the self defense justification was to allow them to bring in some negative info about Travis. They all know he was not abusive, and they know she does not truly have a self defense case.

This may be how to "play the game", but it is despicable to me. I grieve for the Alexander family for having to go through this simply because the defense wants to play games. I wish it were illegal.

DT probably thrilled to leave the jury thinking about spiderman boy's underwear for the next 4 days. ugh

Better than them hearing that phone sex tape over and over again for 4 days. Now the prosecution will have a fairly quick response, unless, of course, she is on the stand until Labor Day (like someone else said) and they play the tape on the last day before that break!

I was thinking the same thing.

(date stamp on the shirt pic of her wearing it)

Would love to find that photo and get the detail from it, but I am not a puter whiz!

I had melted hershey kisses, just squeezed the chocolate into my mouth, while no one was looking!

I can imagine the judge at the sidebar ... Shutting down the defense argument by saying sorry I just can't listen to your voice for one more minute today.... Go back to your seats.,,

Court Dismissed!

Nah, I think it's just her brand of psychopathic moochery. She doesn't really feel below anybody.
She thought she was all that...could get any man, anytime. The truth is, IMHO, she needed TA to legitimize her. She was nothing...she's still nothing. IMHO

This event (Val's Day) is February 2007. TA didn't create his Being Better Blog until April 2008. So if this shirt story is true, it wouldn't have had the "Being Better" part on it when she received it, unless he planned his t-shirts over a year ahead of time.

Who knows what the boys undies were about! I bought boys undies for my girl dog a few weeks ago because she went into heat and kept pulling the dog diapers off! Boy undies have a spot for the tail when put on backwards! Soo, wonder what that says about me? Travis could have sent that as a gag gift based on an inside joke. Until they produce the package and prove he sent it, I don't believe it.

What a good idea! I never thought about that for my dog.

Haha. She sounded pissed about the chocolates having melted...But felt it important enough to let the jurors know that she put them in the fridge. Really, it will be interesting to read some of her testimony. After a while you kind of get used to her spewing and you stop noticing how many irrelevant bits of information she feels compelled to insert in her answers.

Do we know for sure that there were several of those shirts made, promoting Travis' blog? The lettering on the shorts does NOT look the same as on the shirt. I do NOT believe he sent her spiderman undies, but even if he did, that doesn't skeeve me out! I might be biased (although I hope I am not too biased to keep an open mind for convincing evidence of her not-guiltiness) but these incidents she's describing couldn't possibly make a "reasonable person" believe they were being abused... And if she isn't a "reasonable person", then they should have pursued an insanity defense.
