Not sure which pic you refer to. The one I saw with TA on the shower floor and one leg of Jodi's where she has jeans on and her foot is clearly barefoot with (I believe) painted toenails. And a definite curve to her toes.

I just watched it again a couple of times and I am quite sure it's Nurmi that asks to approach the bench. He keeps his head down after she answers and doesn't look at her, looks at the judge and asks to approach. Not sure if it's shenanigans on their part or if she made a genuine mistake not in keeping with their plans...

That is a very good catch. I did not notice that. If defense hasn't disclosed that to the State could they be in trouble. Since she claims there is a letter where is it. Same with the underwear. Did the State know about that, or did she just make that up on the stand? You just know JM is going to ask why the underwear was not in the picture if she thought it was important to take a picture prior to her arrest of the panties and shirt, where are the underoos? And where is the letter? jmo

I thought it was VERY bizarre. Two full days of her droning on and on; even if they had decided (or weren't allowed) to end with the phone call, you would think they would have wanted to leave the jurors with a clearer and more pronounced impression before recessing for the week-end.

I was sitting there fully ready for that audiotape.

I have a little different take on Jodi's references to being "spun around", and I think this is yet another example of how she lifts scenes from film, TV, and/or books to embellish her tales of woe.

I can think of numerous romantic scenes where the man turns or spins a woman toward him to embrace and/or kiss. This always seems to have a dramatic impact in a scene where the couple is on the verge of an argument or unsure of what should transpire in their relationship. Hence, the pause when the woman usually has her back to the man, and he spins or turns her toward him for a passionate embrace/kiss. This is what I think of whenever I've heard Jodi mention it.

Is it just me or do those letters on the panties look like cheap generic iron-on letters that she found quickly at some craft store an hastily ironed on? They just don't look like letters that would be standard for a t-shirt shop or even something you would order online.

I am so interested to see this as well, Bravo.

I worry a bit that if he takes an aggressive/sarcastic/browbeating approach with her, some juror may feel sorry for her, and it may make her look weak and pitiful, which is what she is going for anyway.

I wonder if he can adjust his demeanor so he doesn't come across as bullying. He has seemed to 'pick on' the most innocuous witnesses, including his own prosecution witnesses.

I think that worked very well on a witness like Gus Searcy, b/c he was such a pompous @ss.

It will be fascinating to see and I can't wait for all her lies to be called out. I do wish he could bring out her rage, like they do on TV.

Hey, that reminds me of that movie with Edward Norton where he killed the priest and seemed to be this meek abused alter boy. [Primal Fear] I won't say anything more for those who haven't seen it, be *great* movie!

I think that is why nurmi is asking the questions. He's being soft spoken towards her and he's sorry about making her reliving all fear and pain. That make Juan seem more like an attacker ,like everyone else has been in her life. It's all a game.
