Evidence that Travis was physically abusive to Jodi.

All I could find is this,

An ex-boyfriend by the name of Matt. He has posted several times at "jodiariaisinnocent.com". In one such post, he claimed to have observed bruises on Jodi's neck. After some pressing, he got her to admit that Travis inflicted them. He's not longer a defense witness because he told state investigators that he would lie for Jodi (making him unreliable).

Chris Hughe's email to Travis where he claimed that Travis was being "abusive" to Jodi. Also his meeting with detective Flores where he gave a statement that he could see Travis losing his cool and throwing Jodi against a wall.

This MrX character who is allegedly being blackmailed into not testifying for the defense by Chris Hughes.

What are your thoughts on this?

Well no wonder he was dropped. He admitted he is a liar.....maybe that is what he and Jodi have in common.

I dont think Chris meant that Travis was physically abusive to Jodi.

I can see Travis losing his cool with this stalker obsessive possessive woman too but I doubt he ever hurt her physically. Frankly I wish he had been able to punch her lights out the day she began to attack him.:furious:

Not just any kind of pedophilia, but boy-oriented pedophilia. Such a pedophile would have certainly left evidence on his computer. Not necessarily child , but evidence of visiting pedophilia advocacy sites as well as interest in boy actors, non-nude photos of boys, etc. This type of pedophile is OBSESSED with boys, and they almost never exhibit sexual attraction toward women (based on my reading of the subject). When they do date women, it's usually to get close to their sons or an attempt to lead a normal life. Not to have frequent sex with the woman they're dating.

Jodi's claims about his sexual appetite for her is completely out of character for a boy-oriented pedophile, as is the testimony by his ex Lisa. When I first learned of these allegations by her, I went from 99% certain that she was lying about the abuse to 100%.

I dont think they are going to buy it for one second.

They are going to know she doesnt have anything to back it up but her words and she is one of the worst pathological liars we seen lately..running neck and neck with CA.

They already know she lies with ease. Her demeanor is the same as it was in the long interrogation interview with Flores and the lies just keep on getting more outlandish.

She has sunk to a new low. She thinks she can talk her way out of it by throwing false statements out about Travis. I do not care what underware he liked, she liked or if Travis screwed sheep. It has nothing to do with the brutal, 3 time over killing of him. she has no reason/excuse for the hanious crime she committed. Saying what she is saying, just shows she would say anything to save he Arse and has no feelings for the crime she comitted to not only Tavis, but willing to lie and further insult the victum and his family. Im not shocked. She is very well aware that her victim is dead and voiceless so she can make up all sorts of crap and she did and will continue to pile on burying him once again.

All he is to her now is her ticket to get away with murdering him. So she will kill him again in death just like she did when she murdered him. JA, the sociopath, thinks she is perfectly entitled to do this in order to save herself.

So, all questions to her about how she "feels" about things are a waste of time because she will not answer.

That's one of the reasons most people like her--because she doesn't get emotionally involved in a case and she therefore doesn't offend anyone. She's there to report on the facts and what she sees and provide some legal perspective.

What are peoples theories about the photograph of the ceiling? Jodi supporters sometimes act like it's a smoking gun and I've been having a hard time fitting it into my theory of the crime.

Clearly the pic is not evidence by itself that the camera was dropped at that moment. The photo was taken well above ground level, meaning that Jodi was in control of the camera and may have accidentally pressed the shutter button while messing with the controls.

My theory is that she was in the process of deleting the incriminating photographs (after having shot Travis in the head, rendering him momentarily unconscious), and because the camera was new and unfamiliar to her, she ran into some trouble.

Plus she came in contact with a law enforcement officer less than 24 hours after the killing. He didn't notice anything was odd about her either other than her licence plate being upside down.

Was that sfter the murder, I'm getting confused with the time line. I was thinking the cop that pulled her over could have prevented the murder if he found the gun. :waitasec:

While these lies of hers will hurt the family, they should help the prosecution. It is very significant that computer forensics failed to find any evidence to corroborate these claims.

Thanks. I'm concerned that Arias might have been trying to set Travis up for spousal abuse and other such abuses, long before she murdered him. Thus, attempting to leave a trail of evidence in case the need would ever arise to use a battered woman defense.

We know that she has secretly recorded phone sex calls and forged letters (suspicious electronic copies where conveniently the originals are destroyed). She also uploaded his penis pics to her laptop despite claiming on the stand that they were unsolicited and not wanted.

What if she had been planning an "abuse excuse" or a "he's bad" excuse well before she murdered him? Like inflicting bruises on herself and telling others that Travis caused them? Other abusive, obsessive women have done similar things.

I actually think she saved all those things so she could replay them over and over again and get turned on when Travis wasnt with her.

Yes, yes there has.

Susan Wright of TX. Lured her (allegedly abusive) husband to the bedroom and tied him spread eagle to the bed and first dripped melted candle wax down his torso and then pulled out a knife and started stabbing him everywhere. During the attack one of their young sons woke up and she got him back to bed, then went and got another knife from the kitchen and came back to continue her attack on the (now dead) husband.

The coroner counted at least 192 stab wounds. That's 192. Not 20, not 30, not 50, not 100. 192!

Amazing prosecutor, Kelly Siegler, led the prosecution of that case and got her convicted. It was a 2nd degree murder conviction.
