I wouldn't be thrilled either. But I'd write it more like this:

Hi Travis,
I was wondering if maybe you could name me in the credits for your book as an editor. It might help with future job prospects. Hope all is well!
-Jodi

Her wordiness gives away her insanity. Since 2008, I have written a blog that documents the lies and mental illness of a well known female politician. I'm also working on a book. This woman has the same exact speech patterns. We call it "word salad" -- rambling, misused words, nonsensical word order, using 558 words when she could have used 10. I have been told by several experts that this speech pattern is a sign of a narcissistic sociopath and/or borderline personality disorder. I have learned to spot it very easily now. And Jodi has it!

Haaaa!!!! I'm glad somebody else is privy to the "word salad" My era. However the folks I provide services to "word salad" is at the far end of the spectrum LOL So people will know when i refer to word salad and filler. Jodi provides much filler. Too much LOL And i have come to learn "salad has many more meanings" LOL

Jodi's lack of a plan AFTER the killing itself is amazing. She goes through the trouble to steal a gun, borrow gas as, dye her hair, rent the car, shut off her cell phone etc.
But once she kills Travis (without wearing gloves) she really had no plan. She did get rid of the gun, knife and her clothing. Then she left him a voice mail on the way to Nevada. The crime scene itself however....palm print, hair, she didn't stage it as if there had been a burglary ...she even left his camera. Not sure how she expected to get away with this killing!

Yes I think she was only focused on how to manage killing a healthy fit full grown man .. And I think she thought she wouldn't be suspected because she's female and lived in CA and 'luuuuurved' him. Fail.

Thanks for the post, very insightful

I think she wanted to use the knife. Why else would she bring it? IMO the gun was part of premeditation to deflect suspicion and stage the scene as if there were two perps.

Even during her original interview (she wasn't there) she was talking up Travis's strength and the unlikelihood one person could over power him.

ITA - This is precisely where I went (in my mind) after I heard the ME report of no hemorrhaging in/around the GSW (& other points he made). I am still shocked at the boldness, rage, and riskiness to her self that this presents.

You can always skip over posts that you don't like. :D

And if you see one that violates TOS, just report it.

HTH!

I just did, thanks!

Maybe the "to boob: or "not to boob" deserves it's own separate thread. I have no comments there apart from - "to each his own". It drives me nuts to see the $300 figure thrown around though...It's not what he said. Someone heard it and ran with it and it has become a "fact". It's incorrect.

moo

Oh, PinkPanther:

I totally appreciate your clearing that up!

I work during the day and have to catch up through transcripts and youtube, but am usually left to just read commentary here.

Today was the first time I found out JA never said "ninjas"! I had taken that as gospel fact because I have seen it posted over and over and assumed it was a verbatim statement from JA.

So I get what you mean about spontaneous "facts", lol.:)

On Jan. 3, 2013, the defense for Jodi Arias, 32, the Ariz. woman accused of murdering her boyfriend Travis Alexander, entered into evidence emails between the lovers in which he called her a “🤬🤬🤬🤬” and a “🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.”

It was also revealed the former lovers shared social media passwords due to their distrust of one another.

I just did, thanks!

Awesome!

I would have bumped up Nurse's post on the subject from earlier today, but I am on Tapatalk and it's great for reading but not so much for searching and quoting, lol!

Jodi may have fantasized about how the murder would go down, but it clearly did not happen the way she thought it would. Her plan only took into account a singular linear vision and it failed on so many levels. Had she stopped to think "who will the police suspect based on who was in TA's life?" she would have realized she would be high on the list and not even go there to murder him. Of course that implies some self awareness and as we can see she has very little, if any.

It truly is a frightening insight to her mindset. In regards to the kill. Thankfully "folks" like Jodi don't view the world as we do. Which leads to charges. Her fate is within the Jury. Either way it pretty much sucks. Folks like her IMO. DP. Only because they adapt well in Prison. She should never be afforded a privilege. Travis will never be. She needs to be isolated.

She sure doesn't sound like a meek person afraid of her abuser, does she?
Was only part of her comment to Travis posted. Do you have the full comment about her wanting him to give her credit for editing his typing?

ITA. I am in the minority, but I think TA was a real d-bag to the women he dated (hence his comments about the women he wanted, not wanting him).

Difference is, a rational person breaks up with a jerk. She doesn't murder him.

Not saying you think JA was justified, just making sure I don't get flamed again for thinking TA had it coming. I do not think that at all. :)

I think she DOES have some emotions, but not towards humans. The only time she had those telling signs of sadness (not anger tears) were 2 times and both towards the dog.

I identify with this, but I am also very social, but I don't feel sadness for people as much as I do for animals. I can watch a psychological thriller, where people are slashed left and right. However, I cannot even so much as the lion king where a pretend animal dies. so I can see where it is some sort of disorder, I just don't know what!

I don't know if we can even give her that much credit, 'Luv -- the cat she was to care for when she was at Ventana maybe (??) nearly died. She was to care for the kitty-cat for two weeks, so she put out what she thought was enuff food & water and left it alone for two weeks. The cat was shaking all over when it was found & Jodi thought that was okay. So I won't even give her that one...:furious:

I added some background information for anyone wanting a refresher:

Prior to the discovery of his remains, Arias continued to call and leave multiple voicemails for Alexander. It has been alleged that she also accessed Alexander's voicemail messages after his death. She stated that Travis was to visit her in May 2008 but that plans changed. A white Ford Focus was rented by Arias in Redding, California on June 2, 2008, some 100 miles south of her residence. She advised Budget Rent a Car staff that the rental was for local use only. The vehicle was returned on June 7, 2008 after being driven approximately 2,800 miles, missing floor mats, and "kool-aid" looking stains on the front and rear seats. The vehicle had been cleaned before police could examine it.

Several days before the trip Arias repeatedly contacted her ex-boyfriend, Darryl Brewer, asking to borrow gas cans for a trip to Arizona without explanation. The cans were not returned to Brewer. Receipts presented at trial also show Arias purchased two 5 gallon gas cans, hair dye, and lubricant from Walmart in Salinas, California on June 3, 2008. She then made multiple gasoline purchases with her MasterCard, totaling 20 gallons in Pasadena, California the same evening. The MasterCard was not used again until June 6, 2008, in Sparks, Nevada.

Her initial trip was to head south to photograph a friend's child and then to Utah to spend time with her new love interest, Ryan Burns. Arias has alleged that Alexander called her in the early hours of June 4 and persuaded her to go see him in Arizona. Her arrival at his home was approximately 4 AM on June 4, 2008.

I know the way she dealt with it after really secured her guilt.. Perhaps she did intend on fixing the scene more fully but she didn't have the time.. From my understanding she never knew what the roommate was doing/going when he left a couple hours before the murder. She had to be in the rest of the house doing the laundry cleanup and then leave somehow and she really needed to not be seen by the roommates. She probably didn't realize how difficult it was going to be with what the crime scene looked like it was a heinous level of struggle and blood. I think she went there intending to inflict a lot of physical pain, but what she wasn't fully prepared for is the extreme gore and bodily processes that occurred and that the same "stamina" that she complimented him on originally surfaced this time as an extremely will to survive. He didn't go down without a fight to survive.
MOO, as always!

I'm not looking forward to the DV expert or really to any person the defense puts on the stand. I don't believe Jodi was an abused person by Travis. I do think he said some rude things to her and I do think he was immature and I also think their relationship (if you can call it that) was quite dysfunctional. But an "abused" woman? No way. She wasn't afraid of him--she craved him and wanted to be near him as much as possible. She drove 1,000 miles just to murder him.

No, the only witnesses I am interested in are the ones the state presents. The only attorney I'm interested in hearing is Martinez.

If I want fiction I'll go pick up a book by a talented novelist. The dreck that Arias and her attorneys are spewing forth is not even remotely interesting. I've never been so bored by sexual talk. Now that's some real "talent" to make sex as dull as watching paint dry.

That's interesting. I just can't tolerate her rambling and have never heard anyone talk the way she does (on and on and on and on). And some of the words she uses in her endless sentences - :what:

Didn't the felon Anthony have the same trait as she was talking to Yuri (before JB got ahold of her)?
