I noticed this as well, and I wondered if she is going to get schooled about it this weekend by Nurmi & co. She is presenting herself as someone who rises to the occasion with no hesitation when challenged or confronted. She is going to have to come across as pitiful, cowed, intimidated by JM to be a credible abuse victim. If she cannot resist sparring with him, her PRIDE is what will do her in.

The defense is asking (petitioning) the Supreme Court to say that Judge Stevens was wrong when she ruled that Jodi is still death penalty eligible. The defense's reason is that the ME's testimony about the order of the shooting and stabbing was inconsistent with Flores' testimony that the victim was shot first, and Flores' testimony on that issue was the reason the prior trial judge found that Jodi was DP eligible in the first place.

The defense also asked the Supreme Court to delay the part of the trial dealing with that that issue until the Supreme Court has ruled on the defense's petition.

The Supreme Court said that it wouldn't delay the trial. But it looks like the defense's petition on DP eligibility has not been decided. So, at least for now, it looks like the Supreme Court will review Judge Steven's ruling.

Yes. I did see it. And to keep someone from opening the door you would use a bar. I had two. One for the door closed and one so the dog could get in and out. Only reason I am saying this is the report that she used the doggie door to get in so I'm assuming the door had a security bar in the track. I don't expect Jodi to tell us she climbed through the doggie door. But this did not come from Travis alone, a woman was with him when she did this and surprised them. I hope JM has that woman in the wings because I would love to hear the story. It would be a good example of how possessive she really was. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Can you imagine all the people who will have stories to tell after this trial is over? They will keep NG busy for months. lol

I could swear somewhere in one of the tapes/reports someone says that JA did not (was not supposed to) have the code. I assumed that TA had changed it? She already had the gas cans, so Darryl was of no use to her.

My guess is it is a salon that was familiar to her since she had lived in the area before.

it will look pretty weird if she shifts into that mode now. problem for her is, i don't think she's capable of it. i think that's where the true psychopath in her shows up the best---she has to be in control at all times, even now, when it would serve her interest much better to act just the opposite.

I can't tell but it seems they all support her.. By that I mean, unless I would see otherwise, I would assume they think she did nothing wrong and Travis deserved to die and be dismembered and stuffed in the shower so she can continue on her road trip.

I don't think because someone is blood, you are required to support them, love them and back them up. If a family member of mine did that I would not support what they did. I would want to know the truth, and then they must face the consequences of their actions.

I agree, if she were able to be a great actress and play this role all the way through we would not have seen the behavior we saw on the stand Thursday.

Fortunately, her flaw is her personality/mental issue...and despite her Attorney's wanting her to play the victim (and I don't blame them, they feel their job is to save her from death, not get at the truth) Her lovely self just comes pouring right out like lava...

Hi everyone! I am newly registered but have been lurking in regards to this case. This case is what has brought me to WebSleuths. Years ago, I saw the 48 Hours on Jodi Arias. I immediately felt for Travis Alexander and his family. As I've been watching this case (I watch all of it on Youtube), I feel more and more empathy for Travis Alexander and his family. It has been absolutely disgusting to see Jodi Arias drag his name through the mud on what are obviously false charges. I absolutely love Juan Martinez and have been on the edge of my seat watching him question Jodi Arias. I LOVED how he basically tore apart her pedophilia allegations and can't wait to see where he's going with his questioning. I think it's safe to say I have a bit of a crush on him, though would never stalk and peep in his windows or throw a Toblerone at him. I have just been so proud of the way he has has represented Travis!
