Does anything think that Jodi went to Matt's house the night before she slaughtered Travis to permanently borrow or STEAL his gun?

Jodi went to Darryl's home to use his property (gas cans) to try to conceal her involvement in the murder. I think she did the same with Matt. Having her grandpa's gun was convenient, but it would be very obvious when Travis was found dead with the same caliber bullet in his head. Jodi might have called Matt faking suicidal ideations and asked to borrow his gun (for her suicide) to determine if he had a gun . IMO, she planned to steal or permanently borrow Matt's gun and use it to kill Travis.

I think DB plays a bigger role in this than we think. He was so good to testify as much as he could for her, and she still threw him under by saying he was lying about her telling him she was going to AZ.
Hope he turns on her.

I found that odd. She had broken up with Darryl, and yet was going to visit his sister? Maybe it's me, but I was never friends with my ex's after we broke up. Unless she was a good friend, why visit her? And because she didn't return her phone call until the next day, it hints to me that they probably weren't that close. I think it was just an excuse to make her way down to Mesa (and an excuse for all that sleeping on the road).

Does anyone else notice how much she mentions the word SLEEP? That girl sleeps everywhere - even in her text. "Oh, I was so tired, I pulled over to sleep". When I got to Travis's I was so tired, I went to sleep. Didn't she even sleep at Ryan's house (something about waking up before the movie was over)?

Now I can honestly say that in the last 15 years, I slept in my car once. And that was when I arrived to a movie too early and dozed off in my car. But did this girl ever sleep in a bed that was her own? She even slept on the floor at one dude's house (can't remember his name).

The only problem I have with her doing this when Travis was drying his hair, is I just have doubts if he even got that far out of the shower. By that haunting expression on his face in that last photo, it seemed he already realized that something was terribly wrong. I have nothing other than speculation and my gut instinct to go on of course, but I just have a feeling that he wasn't concerned with towel drying his hair at that point. Looking at the time between the photos, there wasn't a lot of time, but it is hard to say what may have taken place. The only thing I think we can be fairly sure of, is that in less than two minutes, JA had stabbed him 29 times and almost decapitate him. :cry:

5:30:30 , sitting in the floor of the shower; 44 seconds later,
5:31:14 ceiling shot; 62 seconds later,
5:32:16 JA standing over or dragging Travis' bloodied body.

I have to say that viewing these photos doesn't seem to get any easier. They are as disturbing and haunting now as they were the first time I saw them.

I agree, he was attacked while he was sitting down in the shower, IMO.

But, I think it would be a mistake to think the entire attack took place in the shower. There was blood evidence that they were moving around the bathroom after that, blood in the sink, and even blood in the hallway to the bedroom I think. Defensive wounds show he fought off some of the knife attack, but not very effectively.

Maybe to show it was a spur of the moment decision to visit Travis if she's caught, and to confuse the timing issue if she's not?

She could have called Ryan back at any time in those 24 hours to let him know she was going to be late. She did not do that. She left Ryan hanging and worried.
Or, maybe she expected to be in and out of Travis house much quicker than she was?

UUUgh. I hate to ask this but has anyone seen a pic of her two-hole wonder with a timestamp? I watched one of the two 48 hour videos again tonight and Flores says that there were "minutes" between sexually explicit pics and the ones of TA in the shower. I thought that the explicit pics were all around 1-1:30 pm and the shower pics were around 5:30? Am I missing something?

Long shot but is it possible the band for the Bodybugg was broken or lost and that's what he was using?

Definite long shot...those bands are elastic and velcro. I wore mine daily for months (if not a year)and even with removing it at least daily for showers and it wasn't losing any grip.

She drove to Salinas to get her nails done, but it "took a long time". She stated that she would have to get on the highway in Salinas anyway, but she didn't get on the highway. She drove back to Darryl's house to return a remote? How did she wander off his one of Darryl's remotes when she only went there to permanently borrow his gas cans?

from reading det flores report, its so telling how many times, she contacted him on her own to inquire ab the case and new leads or bc she missed travis and was having a bad day.... hello. you dont call the lead detective, you call a friend... just me? didnt she want a copy of the eulogy and asked to go by the house before the memorial? so many telling signs of a killer. gah i cant wait till tomorrow. i hope juan is tucked in tight tonight and raring to go in the morning... and we all know there are a few ladies here that would love to tuck him in!!

Imo She surprised him and as he tried to get up she did the rest of the frontal wounds and probably the wound to the palms of his hands.... He made it to the sink... She continued to stab at his back...he ended up crawling down that hall with her stabbing his head...his hands trying to cover his head at some point....finally she grabs his hair, yanks his head back...and ..you know..

Linda -- You summed it up perfectly. It fits the blood patterns, etc., etc. JA will never tell us since she can't remember, :what: and even if she could, it would be a pack o' lies.

TA was so lionhearted in the way he tried to survive all the things she put upon him. She stole his innocence and took something from him that can only be taken once; she pulled him down in the gutter with her and made him say & do things that, in his heart, he abhorred; she made him less in the eyes of some of his closest friends; and she took from him his very life which he knew was ebbing from him drop by drop.

She owes him far, far more than she can repay in many lifetimes. She owes him her life.

She must be held accountable for his sake, his loving family's sake, for the sake of the People of Arizona, and for the sake of all that is holy and sacred to all human beings.

how about seeming to not be able to recall anything that he said to a defense team interviewer... downplayed 'testy,' 'hysterical' phone calls.

the best thing out of him was that j.a. took 2 gas cans and did not bring them back.
