Why would there have been clothing in the washing machine? Why would Jodi have washed the clothes and bedding. Wasn't he naked in the shower when he died? How did all the bedding etc get blood all over it? Unless she cleaned up the blood with it??

JA says the bedding was washed after the sex in the afternoon was over. Not put in to wash after the killing. It was found in the dryer. The other items, clothing and towel etc were found in washer.

ETA. I don't think she had time after the murder to run two loads of wash. The bedding was dry in the dryer, the other was still in the washer.

Not sure what photo you are talking about but Juan's pen is in some of the photos, from where he is asking the witness a question pointing with his pen on the photo.




He wasn't shot first, the stabs were first and the gunshot was last. Medical testimony verifies this.

Also just the fact that she states she shot him first should be reason enough not to believe it happened that way. She lies about everything.

ME doesn't verify it. It is his opinion.

But, I tend to believe her lies when she is pinning the crime on someone else. I heard her say in two different stories the ninja's shot the gun first. She doesn't know what forensics can show, so she would be inclined to tell the truth about that, imo.

But--who knows? Only one person that's still alive. And, we can't realistically believe a word she says.

Remember though the Jury is able to ask questions. They shouldn't have to resort to making up facts.

I have never seen a trial where the jury is able to ask questions. Can anyone explain how the process works? Will their questions go through an officer of the court?

I think JA really unravelled today. If the DT made any progress with any jury members she undid it with her morning "performance " and she was like a panicked rat in a trap this afternoon. The imaginary rope, not knowing about the bags, even the license plate lie, JM did a masterful job from beginning to end, IMO.

I would just like to thank all the posters here. I have been reading here for years, and you guys are a really intelligent bunch! I am glad I finally joined so I can participate. :twocents:

I'm stuck with tablet to post, my flippin laptop locked up with virus so only able to watch HLN recorded "sextemoany" today cuz had 6 yr old niece & dog running all around living room this afternoon...

I am thinking perhaps the soft rope was used in sex play but then Jodi tried to use it to drag him back to the shower when she needed to move his dead body.

There has been a huge debate and a LOT of people think she shot him first in the shower even though the medical examiner thinks otherwise. So you are not alone in this regard. I also think she shot him first and the gun jammed because of many reasons:

-It would have been the easiest way for her to gain control and kill him. She asks him to turn around for another picture while in shower and then quickly drops camera and exchanges it with gun and blasts him in face. He sees the gun at last minute and tries to duck which would explain angle. The gun jams and she cant fire again.

-She indicated the Ninjas shot first. I know she is a total liar, but we have seen bits of truth in her lies. The shooting first to me is that bit of truth.

-small caliber semi-autos are notorias for jamming.

-I just dont see her taking the risk of causing a loud boom after she would have already stabbed him 20+ times and cutting his throat. He would be practically dead by then, so no need to risk a loud noise at that point, which is why i think shot came first.

-Medical examiners have been known to get things wrong.

-The blood in sink indicates to me that he was shot in face and ran to sink area and was spitting blood all over place there.


We have already had this debate on numerous occasions, so did not want to restart the debate, but want to say that a lot of people still think she shot first, as do i.

Sociopaths do that alot. They don't like to use the word "I"...because that assumes full responsibility.

My interpretation is it is a sheet or towel or something, soaked in blood, that is being used to pull his body?
Just my own view and I am not sure!

When I saw this photo right next to the one with JA's foot in it, I immediately saw this photo as being Travis' back... His head would be towards the middle of the photo (if visible) facing to the left - his right shoulder (the one seen in the JA foot photo) would be closest to the wall in this photo - his left shoulder closest to the camera.

If you look at the blood pattern going down Travis' back - from the right side of his neck (in the JA foot photo) it looks like the same blood-drip pattern/shape in this photo (to me).

I haven't put it in photoshop and adjusted the curves to bring it out yet, but it looks like his back to me. The same thinner drip and thicker drip of blood down his back.

How it was taken or how he could have been in that position, I don't know.

And I could be wrong, of course. But compare the blood drips and you'll (hopefully) see what I mean (down the right side of his back).

Is she the one who is either smiling or looks confused? And she asks questions that are so basic, I'm sure most of the audience knows the answer. Not her-- she looks surprised every time an answer is given!

Don't forget that the DA got into a huge tizzy when they found out that the State's ME was going to testify that the gunshot didn't come first. Once again, JA had spun her tale on the evidence that was known at the time. Different evidence came in afterwards and the DA tried to suggest that the PA had somehow "done something wrong". They hadn't. Detective Flores had stated his views on the 48 hours documentary; not necessarily the ME's.
