It is tasteless. Travis' family have all been very brave and graceful. If I were in their place, I would have a giant wooden spoon, but I should not have projected my own feelings onto them. I'm glad the image made some people smile, but I'll be okay with WS mods yanking copies of it. I'm deleting the original.

I went ahead and deleted my post containing it. But I know you didn't make it with bad intent. And if smiling at the thought of Travis' sweet sisters delivering justice on Jodi with wooden spoons makes me a bad person, so be it. :heart:

I just had a thought. Perhaps the judge asked the jury to stay b/c they are considering that Juan should start his cross next Monday instead of tomorrow for the sake of continuity. If they decided to, they would call the jury back in to let them know court is cancelled for tomorrow. Hope not but with this court's calendar, who knows? I am just SPECULATING, I have no info to support this thought.

I was trying to figure out if the judge had dismissed the jury for the day or not - per your post, I guess she didn't.

Oh, heck... your thought on this sounds so plausible - but (don't take this the wrong way, please! ) but I reallyreallyreally hope you're wrong.

Next Monday is eons away... we've endured direct for so long... I think that could put me over the edge. heh.

No, I'm kidding - I haven't had to endure anything, Travis' family has and whatever happens I want it to be with their well being at the forefront. I'll still probably continue to complain nonsensically about this that and the other, but not at a loss of respect for those who's lives truly being altered and affected, the sorrow and pain they're enduring, the impact the verdict will have and the grief they will never lose.

I think the length of this trial has been inordinately hard on them. Maybe if cross is delayed until Monday, it will be a welcome reprieve for them... in which case I will be as patient as a saint... as much as I can.

About the Inside Edition interview...was this shown to the jury? If so, there is some tiny possibility that Nurmi is trying to get a mistrial due to the interview being procured by state action (the jailer) but IMO (1) that argument is a loser, and (2) he will have to answer why the heck he didn't bring it up pretrial.

I'm watching Jodi's testimony from this morning again, and this one story she broke into right in the middle of the murder story is just unbelievable. I mean, for one thing -- it shows her to be a complete stalker obsessed weirdo; it also shows that she has absolutely no boundaries for herself or anyone else; and the level of ridiculous, extraneous detail of this stupid story, right in the middle of the murder story, is surreal.

She is so completely out of touch with reality -- not that she is psychotic, but she is completely clueless about what it is to be human.
