I want to see the video toward the end of the trial just before the last break. the hand off of the tape recorder is clearly shown. Looked like it was located toward the floor in front of the woman seated directly next to the man. He put it inside the right flap of his coat. Clear as day!

Isn't there somebody putting these on youtube? I wonder how long it takes them to post them...

I don't understand the perceived problem.

My question is, is it allowed that testimony be taped in a murder case in which the jury is not sequestered or sequestered for that matter. Cell phones must be turned off and cameras are not allowed. I would think a recorder wouldn't be allowed, but the show is being broadcast. I guess it's no big deal, but can jurors review taped portions? I don't think they can.

It's always been my understanding that personal recording devices aren't permitted in courtrooms, at least/especially in a first degree murder trial. I could be wrong.

Sooooo, what did we learn from testimony today?
That I need to come up with a convincing tale of why my pet trial case has an uber hot ME.

The bullet that at least incapacitated Travis was not magical and as such did most definitely travel through his brain.

That Jodi is evilness of epic proportion.

That no matter how many cases I follow the abject sorrow and devastation of those who loved the victim always leaves me gutted.

I honestly believe in opening the way they have the prosecution has made any attempt at portraying Travis as anything other than a victim an uphill battle.

JMO

ETA: Also learned I have to convince my 11 year old he doesn't really want to play Minecraft until this trial is over. That'll be easy. ;)

A juror wasn't recording it.

Did anyone else notice JA's chair is lower than her attorney's???

Wonder if it will be even lower tomorrow?

She will look like Edith Ann tomorrow. :floorlaugh:

"And that's the TRUTH!." don't think so, Jodi...

Asked my DH about tape recorder, says it might be legal in Ariz, but not so in LA. If family tried to influence jury with tape recording that would be tampering and case would be thrown out, or something like that.

Sooooo, what did we learn from testimony today?

Just how much of a victim Travis was and that Jodi had a ugly, evil anger brewing within her all along.

Whoa!!! Just came back on after a few hours and this place has blown up!!! I can't possibly catch up if I go back and read 20 pages!

I guess I am the only female here that doesn't think the ME is "all that". lol

I guess my own hubby is just too danged handsome...:D

That the ME was hot and he owned the defense attorney. Also, Jodi Arias looked like Amy Fisher's grandma today. Prosecution-4, Defense-0. I don't want a plea. I want the death penalty. I don't need future Snapped or Deadly Women interviews with this trollop. Or worse yet, attempts to get freed by some idiotic admirer. I do not need claims that she gallantly went to jail for some other unknown person out of "fear." Lame.
