On IS they just showed the other shower picture of TA where he has his arms/hands crossed over his chest. This has always struck me as an odd posture for someone taking a shower. Does it strike anyone as odd. jmo

It wouldn't be odd if you had been convinced to pose for pix to show off your recently toned body, ala his arms.

Good Morning fellow Websleuthers!Spent most of yesterday cleaning house, doing laundry, stripping bed,you name it.Ready for court this week and hoping to see Juan decimate the defense lawyers! So far he's been awesome.I always tell my husband when I get into a trial like this ,don't expect me to get off my computer unless the house is burning down or there's a family emergency!!I call it being in FTM.Full Trial Mode.Bring it on Jodi,Juan is waiting for you!

Claiming someone is a pedophile is a bit of a stretch for TA telling Jodi she sounds like a 12 year-old during phone sex, don't we all agree? If defense had more than that I think we would have heard something by now. jmo
I think the initial game plan was to have the letters admitted to bolster their defense imo.

I dunno though - I have a 12 year old myself so that whole scenario seriously grosses me out to no end. I really can't be impartial on this one but most assuredly do not believe Travis was a pedophile. I just have a knee-jerk reaction to it.

Heck yes, great idea! Just to reiterate, Day 1 of the trial (January 2, 2013): the only media available is audio only and furthermore, it is missing 15 or more minutes of the State/Prosecution Opening Statement. It would be wonderful if one of the medial outlets would upload it to their website. I have never seen In Session make available raw video, but maybe they would? Or perhaps your friend Michael Kiefer (Courts and legal writer for The Arizona Republic) could get it made available on azcentral.com? Thanks!!

Mike Kiefer is a long time personal friend. I will talk to him about it today.

They had officially broken up. Not in love anymore, ready to move on. The only reason to tape the call was to use it against him considering he was dead by her hand within two weeks. She participated so it was not something where she told him to stop, or that she hung up on him once he started talking that way. I think there is more to it, such as what led up to the conversation and that may be the state's argument about keeping it out. Plus what we have heard about the call is in no way abusive. How many times have people said, "just let me alone with.....for 5 minutes" They are not going to do anything they just imagine what they would like to do and does not mean they would actually do it. It certainly isn't evidence he was abusing her. jmo

I took my part of the thread off just to have no confusion. I, as I know you know, was just explaining why someone may tape this type of conversation. Since it was not relevant at all I just deleted it....We are good, right> :seeya:

I have been through two threads with the same thought in mind. Was the tub o lube found at Travis's? Any "soft rope? Why would Jodi clean up and take any "rope" with her? That would only help her statement. Did any of Travis's hand towels have tassels? If Jodi had used one of the pillows then there should of been some of the stuffing from it when she fired the gun. Just a thought and observation.

I was too.

The way the guy talked it was like some hidden drive of Travis' was finally recovered..

very unclear.

(I am sure Juan will clear it up )

If anyone was the sexual pervert, it was Jodi imhoo.

It sounded to me as if the tech did not know who the drive belonged to only that it was included in the same bag with parts. jmo

The Great Seal is in the house.

I've not only heard that, but in my experience it's been true!! Good point ;)

I can only go by my own life experiences but I have found that to be so true as well. I am sure there are exceptions when the person just doesnt like human beings period and prefers animals in their life instead.

Didnt one of our Presidents say that a man's character can be judged according to how he treats his own mother and his dog?

imo

does anyone know if Juan was done with the computer guy? Or was the defense still doing their direct?

(I think the last we heard from was Juan but I think it was voir dire of the witness as to.. well.. his subject area/area of expertise on the pictures)

Wilmot (sp?)was in the process of conducting questioning. They just stopped in the middle of it on Friday. I think she has lots more to cover with him.

She had to be sitting on the chair where the pillows are shown in the crime scene photos because of the position she was in while taking TA's photo on the bed. It's possible the threads were shed from the pillows naturally and stuck to her clothes and may have fallen off during the crime. Happens all the time with fibers at a crime scene. Ever find a thread on your sweater that just clings to it and you have to pull it off? Could be, we may never know for sure. jmo

My memory is they were still on direct examination when Juan asked to voir dire the witness and stated his objection to the admission based on relevancy then they had a sidebar and we came back up live and the jury was sent home for the day without us knowing how that was ruled.

(Okay, that was a run on sentence - but you get the point, right? LOL)
