Dangit, Ryan! Who are the "they?" Did the bullet go thru the brain?!? ANSWER!!!

SO? He flirted. He was SINGLE!!! Not engaged to her.
Based on some pics I have seen of them he looked like he wasn't
that "into" her anyway.

Is this like exhibition season for the courts?

what is going on? questioning outside of jury presence?

I'm just running out for the afternoon so I'm not sure but it might be a proffer to determine if what Ryan testified to should be struck from the record when the jury comes back or if the defense can keep it in admissable and continue down that line of questioning. Not sure because I had to shut the tv off.

Thanks in advance for all of the transcibers and all of the witty remarks, I look forward to reading when I get back. I'll be upset if I miss any handsome CSI techs - take pictures! :)

Does anybody know if RB is still in sales with PPL?

But the victim isn't on trial here. Jodi is the one on trial for murder.

Is PPL still a viable company? If so, wonder if Ryan still works for them and if they are majority Mormon, he might be trying not to jeopardize his position?

Hey DT, it is not the DA's fault that the witness broke down and changed his story to say that he didn't know who said it. It's hearsay.

I wouldn't be surprised if miss Jodie dropped those thoughts into Ryan's head... I can hear her telling him 'friends have told me to quit seeing him' ' friends have told me he is a womanizer'

SUSTAINED.. thank you Judge!

Thank you him being a flirt is NOT relevant.

Outside presence of the jury . . . Burns on stand w/Def Atty . . . . they told Jodi to stop dating Travis because he was a ladies man . . . he had a reputation as being a fun flirt. . . he was flirtatous . . . he wasn't treating JA right . . . Burns doesn't remember making that statement . . . from what JA told Burns - he had talked to other girls when they were supposed to be together.

In Exhibit #283 - they told her to stop dating Travis because They thought he was a ladies man . . . Burns doesn't remember who "They" were (was)

Pros. Atty . . . where were you when you heard this . . . Burns doesn't remember hearing or the conversation when "they" said stop dating Travis. . . . in terms of he wasn't treating her right . . . who were the "they"? . . . I really don't know who that would have been . . it might have been . . . no speculating

What was the statement involving his treatment of her . . . what exact words? I don't know. He was a flirt - that was his reputation . . . just talk to everybody - he was flirtatous .. . . I don't know who told me that . . .

I don't know enough about him . . . I remember Clancy telling me he was a flirt . . . . Clancy telling Burns that . . . .

no further questions . . . . reputation was based upon what other s told him . .Burns states he doesn't know him personally.

Judge excuses him - plese return @ 1:25 . . .

It appears he is going thru the victims room - that is where his money and wallet is . . . asking microphones turned off. they are off.

Mr. Martinez - Prosecutor - it is hearsay . . . . this individual lacks any info of who even told him . . . . not being offered for the truth of the matter assertive . . . hearsay - no foundation . . . not for truth of the matter assertive . . . it is irrelevent.

Def. Atty - how many prongs Prosecution has - all are non-sensical . . . she was warned she should not date him . . that is because he is a flirt . . . After Mr. Martinez took it to the extreme - who said that . . . who is they . . .after being badgered for a bit - Burns said Clancy might have said this . . . this is general reputation . . . I didn't askabout Clancy - I didn't ask abouta statement - there was no statement . . . .

I didn't even ask about truth of the matter statement

Judge - whether this indiv. had info from people he can't identify . . . susutain the objection - it is hearsay . . . not relevant that some unknown third party gave him this info.

we will meet after lunch and I can re-hear objections at that time.

I agree that it's hearsay.

and so does the Judge and does not believe the question is relevant.
Defence will be given the opportunity to rephrase the question and the Defence the opportunity to object.
