Are any of TA's former girlfriends on witness list?

It's odd that Burns does not remember who told him Ta was a flirt especially since he seemed very impressed by JA and showed in his testimony he wanted their relationship to go further. He gives me the feeling he would believe anything JA tells him, I could be wrong but something about his demeanor left me wondering.

I think someone said he is married now and this is what, 5 years ago? She is but a blip on his radar. Thank God for him.

Yes, I agree, unfortunately. I think that it is going to backfire in this instance, though. But really, the DT doesn't have much to work with here, so they have to try anything. I'm sure that they are less than thrilled with the uphill battle that they have been given by their jail-cell ingenue.

Simply stated, they were given crap, so I guess they are trying to make crap-ade.

LoL I said yesterday that her DA (the female) always looks kind of disgusted. Sort of like Barbra Walters looked when Jose tried to give her a smooch :yuck:

I can't remember something that happened 5 years ago that took up only a couple of weeks of my life, can you? I think some people have better memories than others. Who can really say what one person can or can't remember. I think that his demeanor is from the embarrassing details that he had to tell to the world on TV.

:toast: best post today LOL

So the best they can do is have this witness who has a vague memory of "somebody" saying something about Travis being a ladies man. :floorlaugh:
And the defence team will beat the carp out of this witness by trying to get to the bottom of the vague statement. :banghead:

Bring on the redirect! Bam!

Ok the ME is pretty yummy. I admit it.

Somebody please throw a dog a bone, I have had to read page after page about this ME for two days, one slight message of the ballistics expert being hot but not one picture of her. Am I the only male here?

Yeah but this blip is like stepping in dog you-know-what and you still have that faint odor you can't get rid of.

Poor guy and his family.

She claimed self defense.....defense has to try and show that he was capable of behavior that warrented her killing him. Thats what they do....its their job to show a different pic than what the state is showing. Sad and ugly business....but thats what they do.

Agreed.

However the only thing that IS relevant is if there was a history of Travis being violent or having a bad temper. Being a ladies man is not something that warrants almost decapitating a man. I liken it to testimony in a rape case about what a woman was wearing before the rape occurs.

Some instances are different, in the Anthony case they had testimony about Casey's partying and behavior with her current boyfriend. It was entered into evidence to show motive that she no longer wanted to be a mother and to show that Anthony was a known liar so any story put forth during her trial could not be believed. The P12 decided to believe her anyway but that's the only type of evidence that is relevant in a case like this.

Even murder trials that involve gang members and drug dealers don't have this type of evidence entered and this case should be no different.

The victims character should have no bearing on this case other than if there were instances of violence or lapses of anger management. I don't care if Travis had relationships with 5 other women it doesn't matter you loose that avenue of defense when you travel over 300 miles with a gun to visit your ex-boyfriend.

Aww so sorry. But, she was very very pretty and young and very professional. Dark hair, fair skin, dark eyes and looked petite!

He wasn't married for 2 years after this happened. He was single at the time. Just FYI. I have no clue whether he is Mormon now or not but I don't see any reason he would lie.

I never talked about previous sexual escapades with any of my girlfriends. I'd imagine he wouldn't want his wife to hear this no matter what. JMO

But how often do you "date" someone who, while you are dating him, has her "ex" brutally murdered and she is arrested for it? I think she left him with very significant memories (and possibly nightmares!). :what:

She was very cute indeed.

yeah I managed to get her name Elizabeth Northcut I believe but could not find a pic

What was the deal with the license plate? Is that the real story of how it got flipped around? Or did it have something to do with the murder?

Dr. Perper on IS talking about some of the injuries being indicative of rage killing!

I don't think that's the way it happened. Think Jodi did that and also think that is a stupid thing to do. Seems it would call attention to your car, as it did finally.
