I don't understand why people think that Mormon girls
he dated would get treated badly. JA was met through work
and he met her and had sex with her in a week. He is not going
to put on a show for her because he is more a part of the church
than she is. He is not going to tell a girl that was raised in the church
and is just as credible in the church as he is that she should let him
put it in her butt.

The biggest flaw I see so far in this case is that there is no proof
of this stalker behavior. Travis saying it is not
enough. It needs to be someone who saw the slit tires or
saw her show up uninvited. Something that confirms it
other than just Travis said it. If they leave that open it leaves
questions. Questions equals LWOP not death. They need to say
Travis may have given her the wrong impression but he did not
hit her and she certainly wasn't threatened by him.

My toddler finally gave in and fell asleep 2 minutes before judge called lunch. All is quiet and calm probably 'til just after they come back. Sheesh... I cannot win.

You are all so much fun! I am switching over to watch on livestream and cannot multitask.. catch up with you all later. Thanks for the commentary, I LOVE it.

I believe that she had rage while she was killing him. But, it had to be premeditated if she brought a gun...period. I wonder why people are saying that it has to be one or the other.

I don't think he meant it that way. I think sometimes it is used to explain how she overpowered him and delivered all those injuries?

This is Elizabeth Northcutt.

She was also a good witness, IMO. Well spoken. Seemed a tad nervous, but I think that adds a genuineness, though. Very pretty, too, lol.

Very serious here, did it really take that long?

I know the other girl on the stand said he never even tried to kiss her although he did want to continue dating her because he did like her.

That's a good point. I also wonder if it wasn't panic. Maybe not rage but fear.
For example, she stabs him and he doesn't die or he doesn't die as quick as she thought and he is of course freaking out at that point. At that point it must have been really clear in her mind that if she hasn't had the element of surprise there's no way she could take him.

We don't know. The defense says it was a week. I remembering hearing somewhere else it was in Vegas but the defense would never admit she cheated
on her boyfriend.

In regards to the not kissing her thing that's my point.
He has a rep to defend. It's pretty clear if he had tried
to hook up with that Marie(?) girl she not only
would have said no but would have ran and gossiped
to everyone in the church about it. Perfect behavior makes sense.

Jodi already showed him she had no respect for herself
and her word against his in the church would be nothing.

I can't remember something that happened 5 years ago that took up only a couple of weeks of my life, can you? I think some people have better memories than others. Who can really say what one person can or can't remember. I think that his demeanor is from the embarrassing details that he had to tell to the world on TV.

Very well could be although if he was quite taken by her you might expect him to remember more. He was trying to please her even when she was the one being aggressive.

Break time...commercial that is. Only 3 women in AZ death row...two whose cases I can remember.

Wendi Andriano-kind of similar method of killing like JA
http://crime.about.com/od/deathrow/ig/Arizona-Death-Row-Inmates/az_andriano_w.htm

Debra Milke-I was in 4th grade or so when this happened, so I don't remember http://crime.about.com/od/deathrow/ig/Arizona-Death-Row-Inmates/az_milke_d.htm

Shawna Forde-the most recent one to be added. She is disgusting.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...rde-arizona-vigilante-sentenced-to-death.html

I am not familiar with the Shawna Forde case. Probably because it was a Tucson case. I am in the Phx area.

I remember when Debra Milke's little son went missing. It was all over the news that he had disappeared from the mall after being taken to see Santa.

Perhaps there are toll booths that take license plate photos on that highway. She was trying to evade them.

There are no toll roads in Arizona. HTH

Yeah, he doesn't know, but then mentions Clancy. And "flirtatious" is a well chosen word Ryan is using. I think a different word would be recognized by those who knew TA, but no one will say it. They're down-playing TAs rep. Ryan is a Mormon man; and I believe he is protecting his fraternal group.

And before you jump all over me, no, TA being a player or whatever you want to call it does NOT justify him being murdered.

Most players do not admit on a blog that they are dating with the prospect of finding a wife which is what he did. His comment about hoping one of them was not a potential ax murderer is sad because he obviously knew there could have been that potential in JA. jmo

I am not convinced we really know what is in this photo. DA seems to say you can see her "foot". Not once have I heard it used as the word "shoe". With that being said, I don't think the spot on the floor looks like a foot, I think it's just coincidence. The sense of scale is WAY off for it to be TA's or JA's foot.

I also saw the outline of the shoe that someone posted earlier. Was she wearing all black shoes? I have a hard time believing so. I'm still not convinced. Also, keep in mind that the PHOTO ON THE CAMERA WAS TAKEN UPSIDE DOWN. So this would have been the true orientation on the camera. Does this help anyone??

I could be wrong but didn't her attorney introduce that picture for the witness to view. And wasn't it the defense attorney who said it was a foot? Did the prosecutor ever mention it was a foot? jmo

Maybe not toll roads but all kinds of places have cameras.

Just flip the pic and license will read perfectly. I could not think of a way to draw more attention to her vehicle NOW had she switched plates, that would make sense but flipping one upside down is stupid with or without tolls, cameras etc.
