Did Beth elaborate on what she was saying to the prison guard?

Beth was talking to the guard. Talking about her breakfast and lunch consists of peanut butter on fresh baked bread. She doesn't work cause she's not convicted yet, she in max security, can have and make calls. Something about 16 hrs a day... That's when the phone rang. I had one ear on phone and other on tv...

In trouble for ..
She had too many pics in cell
Stole pens repeatedly would hide them in shampoo bottles and other places
Had a fight with cell mate, but she was found not guilty, was self defense.

.....

She agreed to be interviewed by Beth without her lawyers permission. But somehow they found out and pulled the plug.

Not clear on that part, my mom called & I can't find my tv remote....

I would love to know when and the where these letters were created. Did she plan that far ahead or did she have help from the outside while behind bars?

I heard she wrote them in jail and it makes sense to me now because she has those two friends in court who she shared a cell with one of them.

Another question from the interrogations:

Was Jodi saying she left the house without her purse and backpack?

It sounded like she was saying she didn't immediately leave the house when male attacker told her to leave -- but was gathering some clothes from a closet, and sounded like she said she left her purse and backpack there? And she said something about the "attackers" taking her things to make it look like a burglary.

I think this part of her story was to somehow explain away her own disposal of bloody clothes and other murder-related items. But I can't quite piece it together.

that is terrible and unbelievable.

so, like who is going to believe her now?

Hi, NurseBeeMe. You're so, so right on all counts. The move is also something that no realistic defense lawyer would ever suggest or endorse. Jodi can't give up trying to be in control.

He probably had to go to the gym and hit a heavy bag for hours.

I imagine he went home and made himself a stiff drink and took a hot shower to erase ever being in that room breathing the same air with JA.:furious:

Wasn't it determined that those letters weren't written by Travis? (the implication being that JA wrote them herself?)

No worries, she couldn't piece it together either! And she was there!

Awww....yes! Donavan (who is a family friend) and her friend that is in court with her (who was incarcerated with JA) Makes sense!

Thank ya’ll for the warm welcome. My post will be few and far between as I am working, but will totally be here in spirit! I also do hope my posts make sense, as I ramble, stop…work….get sidetrack…something else pops in my head, and I start rambling again.

Did the ME say something earlier regarding the shot in the head would have rendered him unable to move his arms? I cannot believe that the shot was first and he ended up on all fours crawling and screaming. That shot was done after he was dead and complete overkill. I don’t understand why she would have done it other than complete rage after the fact.

It bothered be that she AGAIN asked for the pictures in the interview yesterday. But I think she wanted to see them to get her story straight.

I wonder if the blood on the sink was too old to be tested for arterial or venous blood. If that was the first place he went to after the initial attack, it would be able to explain where the injury came from?

I wonder if she did tell her self-defense story to the police or just her DT. I think that if she did tell the police, they would have obtained the gun and the knife. Do the laws in AZ require her to take the stand since self-defense is now the story? I recall CA claiming only to her DT that it was an accident and she nor anyone else had to take the stand to tell that story and look what happened? But that was in FL.

I also wonder if there are phone call taped on this.

I don't see how her lawyers are going to be able to keep her off the stand! Going to the NE ? agreeing to bring interviewed by Beth behind their backs and against the advice of counsel ...

Wonder who drew the short straw and will be forced to sit on her?

Like other posters have mentioned I too think Jodi sprinkles pieces of the truth within her fabricated stories. Like the male and female ninja yelling different versions of 'shut up' at Travis. Jodi mentions this happening several times. I believe it was Jodi yelling at Travis to shut up and it builds on how long it took this poor man to succumb to the injuries she inflicted. Same thing for when she says she hears Travis complaining that he can't feel his legs. IMO that is from damage to his spine which is from the numerous stab wounds to his back while he was hunched over the sink coughing up blood. I think he fell to the floor at this point and as another poster suggests he drags himself down the hallway by his arms because he no longer feels his legs. Can you imagine the suffering?

Hi, Cuckoohead. I agree. I think that this explains the emotional power of Jodi's three-quarters concocted story. I think that the injury to her hand (her knife hand) indicates that Travis was attempting to disarm her. To me, another strong indication that he was completely defensive, a badly wounded man trying to stop the attack.

Hi, SnowShuze. The article only states that it was before the judge's pretrial decision to not allow the letters into evidence.
After re reading the article, it's hard to say exactly when the Enquirer was approached about publishing those letters. Kinda sorta gives the impression it was in the very recent past.
