Using and repeating the right terms helps the rest of us get into the right habits. It's not an intentional downplaying of what the material is, at least not in all cases. Public education is worthwhile, but does take time, even for those of us open to change.

Yes, as the article states, Huckabee supported him in 2015, but does he now?

I can’t find any recent articles but I think the reason he said that was in exchange for polical contributions. Just my opinion though.

According to the feds he was in a very dark web of the issue. Just trying to keep it as kindly as I can. I guess it was very disturbing. Josh has gone beyond the limits with the kind of exposure.

I feel Josh will continue to escalate his thoughts and actions against victim children. Whether he's downloading images/videos on the dark web or sexually abusing a victim himself. He might go a period of time without action, but will get comfortable enough to act again. I find it impossible for a court or LE to put enough safeguards in place to protect children from him. His family, his wife or any sponsor family can't do it either. I doubt his current charges will put him in prison for the rest of his life, he's already out on bail. When you think of the millions of Josh's in the world, it's a very overwhelming thought. This feels like a hopeless situation that will end very badly. IMO

Cases like this make me grateful for my primary care physician: there are instructions in the bathroom to use a certain color pen on the urine sample label to signal that a patient needs to be seen alone (ie spouse stays in waiting room on staff’s orders).

I’m also grateful for public libraries.

Sorry, I didn't meant to call anyone out, I was referring to the legal system calling it that, not regular folks. It should be changed in the legal system to reflect what it really is. Calling it "child" p***" somehow seems to soften the blow of what it actually is: rape of a minor child.

Completely agree. Especially about him getting comfortable enough to do it again. IMO

I 100% agree. Anyone can look at the interviews that Jim Bob and Michelle did after the molestation became public knowledge and compare it to the police report and see that they LIED. They made it out like Josh was just "curious" and touched the girls when they were asleep and the girls didn't know about it. But the police report indicated that the girls knew and it wasn't just when they were asleep. There was one incident where he touched a girl on his lap while reading a book and IIRC other children were around too. There was another incident where he cornered a girl in the laundry room.

The discrepancies between what they claimed and what he did has really bothered me ever since the police report was released in 2015. His behavior dramatically escalated over time, and the victims got younger and younger. And they still never actually reported it. The police was called on them by a third-party.

I am waiting for MSM news outlets to cover that. It was written by someone watching the hearing. I can't imagine being those brothers right now. Obviously, no one fell for it and thinks either of them were the one downloading it, but the fact that he was so willing to throw them under the bus to cover for his disgusting sex crime is truly absurd.

The brothers he tried to imply may have done it and married and have kids. Both have little girls. I cannot imagine what they must think about Josh trying (poorly) to pin that horrible crime on them.

I am grateful he was stupid enough to have the password with his birth year in it. Makes trying that excuse all the more absurd. Because why would his brothers use a password, with his birth year in it, that he had been known to use for other accounts?



Josh has run around claiming for years that transgender people using the bathroom and married gay couples, especially with kids are ruining the country, the sanctity of marriage, and more, AND putting children at risk simply because of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Meanwhile, he (REPEATEDLY) molested his sisters, cheated on his wife, "allegedly" raped a woman, and "allegedly" viewed and downloaded hundreds of photos and videos of children being sexually abused. Literal TODDLERS.

But no, according to him, the gay couple holding hands at the coffee shop is harming kids by existing. The trans woman washing her hands in a public danger is harming kids by existing.

He makes me sick.

I did not know he had expressed these thoughts what a horrible human being he is a evil sick human being. I am really lost for words who does he think he is expressing these thoughts when he commits these horrible crimes, hope he spends many years in prison. I'm from Australia and we let people like this off with very light sentences it's disgusting, put him in prison for 20 years minimum in my country he would only get a couple of years which is shocking. MOO

Why Josh Duggar freaks me out

When I research this subject there is usually a disturbing theme:

Escalation!

Apparently it is not uncommon for people who view adult for years and years to get desensitized to it thus they seek out more graphic . Yes viewing can get worse, without describing it I will put it this way:

Adults engaging in intimate relations, groups of adults, bondage, torture...

So anyway, it is easy for some to escalate their viewing into these various types. The thing that I didn't know is that this adult escalation can advance past adult and go into child sexual abuse.

From there it can keep escalating, the viewer getting desensitized and going further. By further I mean what I said above, how it goes further with viewing adult can go further viewing child sexual abuse.

So when I hear Josh went from touching his sisters to watching adult to then seeking real life sex with multiple partners, to viewing child sexual abuse to viewing escalating child sexual abuse etc..

I fear if escalation and getting desensitized continues unchecked then Josh might try to touch a real child. He will think, "I won't do that again" then he does.

Then this touching a real child escalates to more and more encounters.

It can even escalate to younger children. Do you know one reason child sexual predators start seeking out young toddlers? Because they are too young to describe it.

So all this is why Josh Duggar freaks me out!
