Josh Duggar child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 trial will include testimony from siblings Jill & Jed

This is a running summary of the day in trial. Noted, Derek Dillard, Jill's husband was there. He sat with Anna, Josh's wife. I am glad she has friends with her.

DHS officer discussed dates, times of downloaded material, and ruled out an employee who was not working at the car lot, until later. And discussed "Dark Web" browser, "Tor".
I wonder why her parents and in laws are not with her in court. Are they ignoring it and don't really want to know what he was downloading.

More than likely. JB Duggar was on a trip around the US, trying to dog the subpoena. Oh, no, sorry, he was just on an extended vacation. Of course. We all saw how thrilled he was in the hot seat yesterday.

The man seems to forget a lot.

That one floored me. Gitana enlightened us to much when Josh was first in the news
I’ve started to read a lot of what Gitana suggested. Eye openers, all of them.

They already know. The details have been available for months.

Of course Josh repeatedly admitted the molestation. He was bragging!

It’s obvious Josh inherited his hubris from JimBob, who had the colossal nerve to tell the Judge that he (JB) would not allow it and then refused to read the report. I’m happy to read that the judge put him in his place. Is there no end to the entitlement from these people??
And if I was running against him I sure would use some quotes from the ruling in my political ads…

Yes, but seeing it in court with public scrutiny is different. They can pretend that they have not seen it but cannot if they are in a court room.

These men do not think with the head that is above their shoulders. I would not be surprised if JB used those sites too.

There is no escaping it either way. They know. If family members wanted to be there to support Anna, they would have been there.

But I still think that by their lack of presence, they are hiding from it.

I don't know how the Kellers (Anna's family of origin) feels about the Duggars, and that is a question I'd like to know the answer of. They have very little money, so it is possible they couldn't afford a plane ticket - but they might also just not want to support her. It's hard to say.

Either way, however, I think Anna and probably many other Duggars just want to bury their head under the sand and not realize the full, disgusting depths of what he was doing.

Nope. Don’t think so. Every single family member?? No way.

I’m concerned that the judge’s ruling re: allowing prior molestation evidence will be an appellate issue. I guess we shall see.

I don't think so, especially if Jill, as a former child victim of Josh, testifies. It is evidence of pedophilia, and a prior history of this. The fact that it happened prior to age 18, and he was not charged is not the issue.

He obviously has a propensity for this. Otherwise, he could have downloaded ten million videos of adult women, no one would have cared.

The fact that he prior engaged in pedophile behavior, and as an adult, continues to seek this type of material is disturbing. Especially as he has young girls in his home.

There is a problem there. That is why Jill's testimony is going to be crucial for the prosecution.

I certainly hope you are right.

But, I definitely think JB will open his checkbook for an appeal. I sort of love it. That man is so cheap he squeaks. And this defense is probably running him over $500,000, if not more. Plus, having to support Josh, Anna, and all seven of the children. Cha ching, cha ching.

An appeal will probably run over another $500,000.

I really don't think it's a concern. Per the judge, this is very common in these cases. In that district court, allowing prior abuse to be admitted has never led to an appeal, while, on the contrary, not allowing it has been successfully appealed.

Judge calls for evidentiary hearing during Josh Duggar child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 pre-trial conference

"The judge acknowledged taking 'a fairly deep dive' on rule 414, finding 'pretty strong case law' to admit the prior acts of molestation as evidence. He noted that the 8th circuit has never reversed a case of admitting it, while one case was reversed for not admitting such evidence."

Thank You for the reassurance. I do have lots of respect for this judge as of right now.

Yeah from everything I've seen so far, I've been impressed with him.

Special Agent Faulkner explained that a majority of ICAC cases involving the Tor browser involve child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. He added that the dark web is a known source of illegal material, and that “you can actually buy a child” for trafficking purposes.

The prosecution then asked the agent if using a dark web browser would be typical for a used car lot.

“Common sense of it?” asked Special Agent Faulkner. “No, sir. I would not think the dark web would be the best place to do that.”

When the recording continued to play for the jurors, Duggar continued with his own questions, asking if the case directly connected to a certain IP address. He followed that up by asking if the device in question was “transmitting or receiving?” illegal images.

“It’s best you just listen,” an agent told Duggar.

“We don’t want to speculate,” the agents added. “That’s why we came here.” They explained that they would be investigating the “digital fingerprint of everything that ever happened” on seized electronics devices.

“I’m not denying guilt,” Duggar replied. “I don’t want to say the wrong thing.”

Did Anna leave the courtroom today when the evidence was shown? I saw a headline saying as much but I can’t locate it at the moment.
