Kathleen Savio's death #2

And wasn't he on duty when Kathleen's body was found? I couldn't figure out why it became so urgent to return the children after he got to work, to the point of getting a locksmith. Unless of course, he knew she was dead.

Good point. He wasn't concerned when she was there at time to drop the kids off. He wasn't concerned all night, he wasn't concerned the next day before he went to work. He wasn't concerned until he was in uniform and at work.
Perhaps he wanted that means of showing official authority to a locksmith to get them to open the locks. I would love to know what story he gave the locksmith. It must have been a good one.

It wasn't HER home. Although the two were divorced, the property had not yet been settled. It was still joint property.
This is true. He had legal right to enter the home with a locksmith unless a restraining order was in place.

I posted this on another thread, but has anyone seen the new National Enquirer? Most of the story is nothing new, its about SP telling the preacher that she knew that DP had killed Kathleen. But what it did mention, that I haven't seen anywhere else, is that the night that Kathleen was killed, after SP tried to reach DP on her cell phone, later that night, DP came home and SP found him "dressed in black, like a ninja", washing a woman's clothes that looked like they were stained with blood! Has anyone else heard this? Interesting.

In a chilling confession to her preacher, the 23-year-old revealed that she saw Drew washing Kathleen's clothes less than 24 hours before her naked body was found in a dry bathtub, according to a source.

The source says Drew then told Stacy she was going to be his alibi and he'd tell her what to say because the police were going to question them about Savio's death.

(Don't know how to link to the article or if I'm allowed, just copied and pasted this part)

off the topic for a sec.
I can't imagine how Kathleen's kids are taking this, knowing that Stacy knew for 4 years of this....
Hope they will get professional help for the next few years.
I feel so sorry from them....

We can only hope that MAYBE they've been shielded from this (for now) in order to deal with the loss of Stacy. Later on, they'd obviously have to be told, and I agree, major counseling will be in order for them. DP has inflicted the ultimate pain upon his OWN family. How he looks into a mirror I'll never know... What a loser and a coward.

They have to know. Kids talking in school and around.
They are I think 14 and 11? Is this correct?

Interesting verbiage used on the KS website and it makes me wonder if the person who wrote this is revealing a portion of the recent autopsy findings which have not been publicly reported:

QUOTED from www.kathleenkittysavio.com/about.html

I believe that opinion comes from the autopsy done by Dr. Michael Baden, who was hired by the family to do an extra autopsy after Kathleen was exhumed. I don't think the family has been given any indication as to the official autopsy record from the recent findings.

Right, but Dr. Baden didn't make the statement (was beaten and left for dead) which appears on the website; one of KS' family members did. Is that statement an assumption or fact?

The only public info we've been given from his findings is that he concludes that KS' death was likely a homocide instead of an accidental drowning. Dr. Baden did not make a statement that she was "beaten" ... did he? If so, I missed that and would like to read what he said if you know where I can find the link. Thanks!

I think it has been in the media that she was beaten, I don't remember if it was Dr. Baden or the family that has said that. But it hasn't been in the media anywhere that she did not die immediately from her injuries.

From the way I read that, she may have lain there alive for a period of time before she died and DrewP arranged for her to be found.

And I didn't think my contempt for the alleged 'man' could get any worse. But it has.

I think that because of the scrapes and oval markings, bruises on her body that the conclusion was drawn that she was beaten. The left for dead is new to me..and even more appalling.

I know I came to the conclusion she was beaten from reading the original autopsy. I don't know if the family came to the same conclusion or if it's an official finding now.

Dr. Baden did say it: On the Record w/ Greta

VAN SUSTEREN: What's your thought on that?
BADEN: Well, he's right. The reason that I responded to the family's request to do another autopsy was because I felt, after reviewing the first autopsy, that clearly, it should have been called a homicide in the first place. Here was a woman, according to the first autopsy, who'd been beaten up before she drowned. Adults don't drown in bathtubs if they're healthy and don't have drugs on board. And I think that's one flag.

I just had a very chilling thought. If Kathleen did not die right away and was left alive in the tub, could it have been posible she could have tried to leave a clue to who did this to her? She was bleeding and possibly could have done nothing more than try to write a few marks on the tub with her blood. The reason I even thought about this was hearing before how DrewP got real busy cleaning the tub saying how he didn't want the kids seeing it, that may not have been the reason at all.

Didn't I read somewhere that the head injury would have been enough to leave her unconcious, but shouldn't have been immediately fatal? Or is that another thing that I am remembering wrong?
