Lisa Brown said her sister told her this of the night that Alicia disappeared:

Her sister and Longoria had gone out to eat and returned home around 10:30 p.m. Longoria told her he had to leave to meet with undercover police officers, that he was an informant.

He came home around 12:30 a.m., smelling like diesel fuel. When she asked what happened, he said he stopped at the home of a friend and helped the friend deal with car problems.

He used bleach to clean his shoestrings and shoes.

He wore a shirt that had a blood stain.

When Brown's sister told her about the stain, she motioned in a way indicating it was a big stain, Brown said.

Brown's sister, when told of her sister's account of the stain, said it was wrong to say the stain was blood. She didn't elaborate.

According to Brown, her sister told her that Longoria asked her to destroy the shirt. That her sister said the shirt was cut into three pieces. That Longoria asked her to throw out the pieces in three different places. That her sister said she discarded the shirt pieces but didn't say where they were left.

Brown said her sister told her that the couple's Great Bend house smelled like diesel and her vehicle, a black Ford Escape, smelled like fuel — that she had to roll down the windows while getting rid of the shirt because the fumes made her sick.

Brown said her sister told her that Longoria's pants were put in a trash can in the backyard.

When Brown visited the couple's home several days after Alicia disappeared, she noticed that it smelled like fuel.

Her sister said that since July, she had intercepted text messages and phone calls from Alicia to Longoria, Brown said.

"She was upset because Alicia was underage and Adam was a grown man, and she didn't think it was appropriate," Brown said.

As of this past Tuesday, Brown said, her sister told her she believes Longoria is innocent

What about your BF comming home with blood stains, smelling of diesel fuel, cleaning his shoes with bleach, having you cut up a shirt and discard it in 3 places and throw away his jeans, the day before you hear a 14 yr old girl is missing makes your brain say hes innocent??? I dont get it. What kind of hold does he have on this woman?
I have been refraining from posting things about the GF thinking she was an innocent bystander. Now IMO shes as guilty as he is!

Whole lot of she said she said and he said he said. None of which holds much water at this juncture. Load of hearsay and the first time a sister has popped out of the woodwork. Personally, I'm not taking what she claims the GF said to be gospel, or at least not embellished on.

Not to say I haven't wondered about the GF's involvement in this from day 1, the question is whether she did or is doing anything knowingly wrong.

Could simply be staying quiet because she has been requested to since this is still an ongoing investigation.

She moved out readily enough when AJL was arrested, so if he "had" any hold on her, I suspect she is waking up pretty quickly. Might take her some time to come to terms with what happened that night. There is going to be a whole lot of guilt, and "dang, but I was stupid to ever get involved with him" for her to work thru. If she really has a brain that is. In this case -- much more than most women getting out of a relationship with a manipulator because of how it all ended.

But none of us really likes to admit we made idiot moves, ultimately forgive ourselves for making them, learn from them and move on. I truly hope given the magnitude of this situation, she is getting some professional counseling. Would hate to see her deny bad decisions and then repeat.

Or deny what really did go on that night, because it DOES put her in a bad light. I'd be looking for a rock to hide under myself.

If the sister is lying about what EMB said, then why?

I felt Eva knew more than we had heard....but destroying evidence...I wouldn't have dreamed it.

I think if EMBs sister and brother are both saying the same things chances are good she said it. Also if AL came home with big blood stains on his shirt, cleaning his shoes etc... and then asked her to dispose of the items she had to know he was up to something. Its just common sense. Then hearing of a missing teen the next day that had been texting and calling enough that you thought it wasnt appropriate. Why wouldnt she call LE??? If not at that point after ADs body is found burnt, after him comming home that night smelling of fuel. I just dont get it! I also dont understand searching out a mate in a prison especially with 2 young children in the house. I agree this woman needs profesional counciling. How can anyone be so needy to think this guy is innocent. Could she possibly think at this point hes going to come home to her and her CHILDREN and live happily ever after??? JMO

We don't know a thing about their relationship. We don't know how she "interpreted" what she was told. We don't know how right the media got it (given all the mistakes they make). Whole thing reads like a soap opera, and nothing in there from the sister is going to wind up in court as it's all hearsay.

Did the GF KNOWINGLY destroy evidence? Or even unknowingly. Did AJL walk in and say "I just murdered AD and burned her body and I need you to get rid of these clothes." ?? Stupid, but not that stupid. He lied. She bought it.

I'm not presuming this woman was even remotely clairvoyant. If she were, duh, they wouldn't be living together. No reason to presume she knew he had just come home from committing a murder. We don't know for a fact what led police so quickly to that home. Perhaps it was a call or visit from her. Meantime, she might have started to put it together and been living in fear and with NO idea what to do.

Think about how common that is in abuse cases. Women are often more fearful to run than stay, because they know the SOB will hunt them down and it would be worse for them. Or at least they've heard that so much they believe it, whether true or not.

Or she could simply just be a total idiot.

She essentially denied her sister got the facts straight. Why is her sister all of a sudden coming out with this, and is queen for a day? Don't know her from Adam (no pun intended).

Sticking by what is clearly she said she said, as that's all there is in the article to go by. And the article is what I'm commenting on.

Since GF "did not elaborate" on what she disputed in her sister's account, we don't know if it was a few minor details (i.e. big stain, but never indicated it as blood stain) or what.

Media can write it any way they want to sell hits.

I would hope sister got it wrong when she stated the GF thinks AJL is innocent. Perhaps she is just trying to goad her into talking. I've seen way stupider things among families. If LE has asked her to stay quiet, good reason to not talk to media.

I'm not going to presume too much at this point about what is going on in her head, but suffice to say I believe AJL messed it up worse than it was already when she made the bonehead move to shop for a daddy in prison.

Am trusting she will "wake up" in due time and crawl out from under the rock she's hiding under for self preservation. And that of her two children. Small town, where is she going to hide?

Exactly. That's why I think she was more involved and the story has a ring a truth in it.

How do we know she didn't call police?

She is clearly messed up in the head. And you don't wake up from that overnight. Especially when living under same roof as a manipulator. One she might have started to fear, and where do you go?

Still trying to figure this posting thing out. How do you snip things from a post and put things from a post in bold?

I could and have seen the media mess up the facts.....but there were many facts stated in it and don't think they could possibly get them all wrong.

It is interesting about the sister tho, since I can find no connection to her. Maybe she is the father's daughter from a prior marriage, or the mother had her in her mid-teens, but can find no link as "relative" from the brother or Eva, nor the mother or father.

I guess we dont know she didnt call LE but if she had why would they not have searched the home before AL gave the first interview with the press? JMO but I think thats how LE got the first heads up on the guy.

OMG, I was busy Oct 2 attending my nieces wedding. Wow, I am now home and I am dumbfounded. I am not sure if I can post this but if you look at Eva's Bro's FB (J) and his wife's (S) you will see that this basically verifies what went down in terms of his sister Eva being so.....anyways, I don't think under WS rules I can link the FB's however if you know where to go, have a look at their recent posts this past Tues or Wed, I am pretty sure those are the dates.

You can post the link....and paraphrase anything you want to highlight re: it's content, you just can't copy and paste any content. Even tho I see it done all the time.:waitasec: You can also, as you did, give the date and time of the post your referring to. Please link. I can't find them. TIA

I saw that the other day and knew something was up with EMB but never thought it was anything this disturbing.

I cant find a connection to her either. I believe the genealogy page I found was from EMB and JBs mothers side so IM assuming she must be a daughter of thier father. Link to genealogy page

When you look at JB's post of Sept 29, he was responding to an earlier comment, made me wonder if he was talking about Eva....maybe I am wrong. I did not take it as disturbing but if JB and SB are discussing Eva, they are basically saying that she is messed up. MOO

Same goes for sis in law .

Sept 28 @ 8:53 am.
