I don't think the family has ever said if any dogs were stolen or not.

LE close to the case told me there were so many dogs on the premises, there was no way to accurately determine if any dogs were actually missing.

I do remember a pet groomer and friend said she estimated 40 to 50 dogs associated with her business.

I have gone through 18 of the 1st pages on this thread and no where does it say how the KBI gleaned the information regarding these vehicles.

Where did the news of the vehicles originate from?! Does anyone know?
There is the article from the McPherson Sentinel but there has to be more info from the local papers?!

I just reported my ‘tip’ to KBI and had an interesting 20 minute phone conversation with the Case Agent.
I was told that it was the Neighbors In The General Area who saw the two trucks.

301 KS-4 (corner of MAPLE ST & E 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] ST), Gypsum, Kansas
Beat-up maroon Chevy pickup truck with silver grill, silver (not white) front bumper, wide-style side mirrors.
To view the truck, stay on Maple Street. If you ‘drive’ down 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Street, the Imagery Date is 7/2013 and there is a purple van parked in that location.

I agree. After SeesSeas drive through a neighboring town (by Google Earth) that is full of old mixed parts trucks, I was hoping for some sort of further positive info.

Maybe somethings is brewing that we're not aware of.

If something is brewing, nothing has been in the paper. Since the pic of the PU was from a couple of years ago, I wonder if the people in that area where it was parked at that time may have sold it? I would think neighbors would have recognized it if it was still at that house. Maybe IT IS the same PU, and it HAS been sold, and the previous owners would remember who they sold it to. That would be a HUGE break! It's been roughly 5 1/2 months since this crime. I would be thinking some things would start adding up soon.

LE should easily be able to track that truck by researching who was residing in that Gypsum home at the time of the 2014 Google Earth image.

When LE determines the name of the owner of the truck, they would then research DMV records to find VIN. . .
. . . unless the truck was randomly parked there that day and nobody has a clue because it belonged to a friend of a cousin of a neighbor (!), and nobody remembers the details.

Then LE tracks the VIN to determine who has bought and sold that truck . . .
. . . unless the truck wasn’t registered with the DMV.
. . . unless the truck was scrapped without tracking the VIN.

Others can probably think of many oddball scenarios that would make it difficult to find that truck. But let’s hope LE has found that truck and that they are investigating every potential angle about that truck.

Alright,
So, just stumbling upon this most interesting, and even though ridiculous, and extremely judgmental and completely ill informed blog. I feel a little clarification is needed.

1) a. You all find no information or knowledge of who Rigg Othinsraven (JJB) is, yet you call him " homicidal" and "Maniac"
b. The man hasn't been found guilty nor pled to any charges.
c. If the man was involved in any stabbing, are you sure there weren't any actions that could make said situation an act of "self-defense"?
d. What makes you sure he was seen around the area the night the murder occurred?
e. Did Rigg know the victim? Possible Motive?
f. How accurate is this information?

2)
a. I personally know that the incident on July first, 2016 ( not sure who stabbed who,) was a resukt of a long lasting beef between Joe Mullen 30, and Sheldon Freeman 25, where Joe claimed to be Sheldon's friend, but always talked about hurting him and was very disrespectful to Sheldon

b. Sheldon Freeman 25, Smolan Ks. has aggressively pressed someone to a point yrs ago to make the incident in july his second time being stabbed over actions and words.
C. There was no party . on Penn st. on July 1st. nor at Speanes in Gypsum on the 4th.
d. The man whos fingers were alleged to have been almost severed was a known intravenous drug fiend who showed up at a residence he was not permitted to be and at 1 am to boot.
e. Dominic Aita was not aressted with Rigg and was technically 2.8 miles from where Rigg was apprehended on K-4 highway.
f . Joe Mullen went to his hiuse to meet Mr. Freeman the night of the stabbiing to "take care of him " and "shut him up"
3) Last but not least
The night of the Assaria murder Rigg was in a town on the oposite Side of Salina, with no transportation and to much to travel in between.
