Also, I believe if he died in the home from illness and neglect, he would have been gone at least a few hours before she noticed. For example, he was sleeping or napping for longer than usual and she found him.

Thank you so much for clarifying this!:)
I'm so scatter-brained I was thinking the next court date was Tuesday the 13th.

Oh Lord. It is the 13th. I got my days confused! [emoji30]

And just to jump off this post and the one you were replying to:
IMO if Lucas actually died in the home there would have been a scent that showed such. Maybe there was but if so the charges don't reflect it.
I think even if he had a pullup on there would have been a scent within moments.:tantrum:
jmo

Has anyone ever seen ANY reference by LE that a scent wasn’t picked up?

All LE stated was they searched the home and neighborhood using dogs and had no luck locating him - they never have said which dogs, or if any scent was found or where.

Please let this be the week Lucas is found, and that LH's "live-in girlfriend" shatters like glass when he does. (Sorry, my puns are always lame, but in this case it's how I feel). I hope she isn't sitting there all smug and relieved that 3 weeks have passed and she might actually get away with this.

Other K9s have been searching for him, but Blue’s abilities are unique.

His training in live human scent discrimination allows Blue to get familiar with a person’s scent and find it, among many other smells.

Posting again to point out what was said about this particular dog.

That is awesome. A similar story on another channel I think about Blue was more generic and didn’t state he was used in this case specifically- it was more along the lines of ‘this is one of the types of dogs we use in these types of cases and this is what he can do’. Or maybe I just didn’t read that story close enough the first time. Seems there’s dribbles of information that’s a little different everywhere you see it. If that makes any sense.
If Blue hasn’t been able to find him, I would tend to agree, he was put in a car and driven somewhere.

Oh I will also note, that if he was driven away somewhere blue could track his scent to the specific area where the car was parked and where he left from.

The nagging feeling I've had since day one and my initial thought is that this poor baby was sold/ traded into the trafficking ring. This area has become such a disgustingly huge player in this that I just can't let go of that gut feeling. I'm all for searching, as again, this is just my own feeling on it and there are SO many possibilities, but I'm wondering how we go about even trying to delve into the trafficking scenario.... Anyone have any suggestions, experience, etc???
I'm very new to this and was directed to this group specifically because of Lucas. Thinking about him, researching and praying for him has become an almost obsession and I want nothing more than for this little guy to be found! And I'm so thankful to be part of this group and for everything everyone here is doing to help!

This made me think of a great website/app out there that allows you to assist in locating victims of sex trafficking by uploading photos of the hotel rooms you stay in when traveling. Super easy to use, you just snap a few specific pics they ask for (bathroom, bed, etc.) and you submit them along with your specific hotel and room number. They get added to their database which can then be searched through by LE in order to identify matching locations of those shown in photos of online ads for these children. I used this site multiple times over the summer and it’s super quick and simple to do.

(Hope that’s okay to post here)

Do we have a media and links thread? I'm thinking it's usually found at the beginning of each thread but I don't see one on page 1?

As far as search dogs are mentioned, I found this:

"Authorities said they as many as 100 officers working the case and have searched the Hernandez home as well as Wichita’s Chisholm Trail Park, Grove Park and Harrison Park using horses, dogs and drones, but have found no sign of Lucas."
