Sorry guys, it's time for another Kadoober off the wall clump of ideas.

Sometimes weird little details get stuck in my head and I don't know why and then some small idea starts forming around it - and here is one of those:

When the OG story first came out, and it came out that she went there because JH had gotten her a $10 gift card to OG for Vday I thought 'what the heck is she going to do with that?'
I mean, it's possible you can get soup and salad for one for $10 bucks, but she has no income of her own and has two kids to care for, right?

Maybe JH only had $10 to offer, and something was better than nothing. I don't know. Maybe he thought she'd take 'someone else' and he didn't want to finance that. Doesn't matter - what I would be interested in is EG's reaction to receiving a $10 gift card to a restaurant where a meal for 3, even if two are small, would be a good deal more than $10.

Was she pissed? Did they fight about that? Did she leave Lucas home because Dad didn't send her enough to cover his meal?

Interesting thoughts. I believe the OG gift card was $15.00 but still not really enough to cover 1 imo. I wonder if OG sells gift cards in certain increments. Also, imo she left Lucas home because he was failing and she had been abusing him and didn't want anyone to see. Plus taking a hurt child who is maybe a little whiny from the pain she inflicted wouldn't be fun. Throw in there that maybe she was meeting someone for XYZ reasons and she didn't want Lucas to be able to tell about it. I can think of a multitude of reasons she maybe left him home alone. I highly doubt it was the first time either.

DCF only received two reports before lucas went missing (two should of been enough) and they were closed unfounded.

The additional reports came after Lucas went missing - the nurse IMO should of reported it even though she had a note from dr saying was from a fall.

May 16, 2017: DCF, the Kansas child protection agency, received the first of two reports of suspected abuse involving Lucas. Glass and an “unknown perpetrator” were suspected. The boy reportedly had bruising in the shape of a hand on his left arm, bruising on his left cheek and on his bottom.

Again, this is suggesting someone else was also abusing Lucas, the unknown perpetrator. I think our thoughts automatically go to JH but he wouldn't be unknown so who was it?

All of your reasons for not taking him are much more likely than him being left because she didn't have enough cash to take him - for sure. I doubt it was the first time as well.
I'm just at the point where I will throw darn near anything at the wall to see if it'll stick.
I checked the OG website, and you can buy them there starting at $5. There are 4 packs of $15/ea available at Costco. And OG has a promo where if you spend $50 on cards, you get a $10 card free.

What I wonder if it was common practice to leave Lucas at home with both JH and EG. JH was still standing by her after he learned she left Lucas at home alone, so IMO he didn't seem to be upset about the smoking pot or leaving Lucas alone. I noticed that when the school called about Lucas being sick it was EG that went and picked him up even though during that time period JH was in town.

I am also trying to figure out why she would tell JH that JO had Lucas VD when she didn't tell the police that. Is EG who told JH that or could it of been someone else who told him that? Just doesn't make any sense.

Glass told police that Lucas’ mother, Taylor, last saw Lucas in December when the two women “were involved in a physical altercation at Lucas’ school,” the document says. Glass accused Taylor of being a drug addict and said Taylor was not supposed to be around Lucas.

It seems that DCF has failed a lot of children recently there. I was reading about it last night. Does anyone think there could be any charges against the people that failed Lucas? Have they fired people that did not do their job in the Evan Brewer case and now we have Lucas?

Just wondering...

i don’t think it’s time for a suit just yet. The family can handle only so much and those are as stressful as this time is. But if they wish at the appropriate time for them I can give them three successful cases similar in nature. The family prevailed. PADDLEBOARDER is welcome to pm me.

The only other thing (I promise unless it becomes relevant) I will post about graves is this:
I did some preliminary research almost immediately after Lucas went missing.
IMHO the opportunity was definitely there and the dates matched up perfectly, but the chance is very slim.
Those particular ideas were forwarded to searchers on the ground etc and have certainly been checked. At least the ones I was interested in.

I realize that but families have to consider what can happen if they agree and let that person off on a lighter sentence. Do you realize how many repeat offenders there are in prison. The man who murdered my sister was out 9 days. He was stalking us for those days. He was a predator. He murdered my sister on the 9th day. He had two graves dug ahead of time. One was for me. It was a stark realization for me.

I would hate to see another child harmed.

This is just heart breaking. I am so sorry this was done to you.

Again, the more I think about the CINC report the more I think this is related to drugs and her snapping again. If she needed help hiding him she might know some pretty gnarly people to help her from that world. Maybe she has something on one of them.

We really don't know how much she is or isn't talking, just that Lucas hasn't been located and no further charges have been filed yet. I wonder if the firm the court hired is working behind the scenes on an eventual plea deal re pending charges for Lucas or if they're only working on the child endangerment charge re MH.

Is it official that she is bipolar and that she has endometriosis?

I see both medical issues tossed around like they are fact- the endometriosis came from a FB comment from EG's father. The bipolar- was it EG's ex that mentioned it?

Can our VI's FindLucasAllen and Paddleboarder confirm that she truly had both of these medical issues?

It just concerns me that we're assuming she has both conditions, which could garner sympathy from people because of so called symptoms she suffers through with the two.

She could be dying from cancer and I still would not have any sympathy for her. Nothing excuses what she did.

ETA: I realized that I sound snarky. I am not trying to be. I apologize in advance if it came off that way.

I would think JH & EG had a joint checking account since she was a “stay at home mom” and he was the breadwinner.

Also....some falls while cooking dinner?! Is she trying to explain burns that he had? [/b]

Snipped for space.

And interesting thing on the 'falls either could be cooking dinner':

There is a blog out there that... analyzes statements. A post had been written based off of the initial article about her interview, and the writer noted that having the full interview would be helpful. So I sent my transcript. Later, a new post came out with full analysis. But it was not done using my transcription, rather one that someone else did. Whoever that was heard things quite differently than I did, and since I read that I have been meaning to give it another listen and see if I had misheard some things.

I heard:
Um, yeah, um, in the past, you know, there's been times he's, been a boy, and um playing with his older brothers, and his cousins, um, he gets bruises, and he has had some falls, um, falls either could be cooking dinner, or at the park, um... (long pause, looking down) Um. I'm sorry, this is really hard on me.

He heard:
Ehm, yes, ehm, in the past, you know, there’s been times he's being a boy and playing with older brothers and his cousins, ehm he gets bruises. He has had some falls… ehm… falls, you know, it could be there or at the porch ehm……. (pause), I’m sorry

Point being - that what I have in the transcript may not be accurate, and as such I would love anyone who has the time to go back and listen to the actual interview along with reading the transcript. I would happily listen to suggestions if anyone hears differently and update where needed.

I agree about the withdraws. My dad is a heroin addict and I have witnessed his withdraws many times. Sometimes when he was going through withdraws he could not handle it and resorted to heavy drinking to cope with it. I can not tell you how thankful I was when we finally got a methadone clinic here. But during withdraws he would become very angry and very violent. He would break windows out, throw things, scream at everyone... it was horrible to deal with. He is better now but being in methadone he sleeps alot. I do not know for sure if Emily was on any other drug then marijuana. All I can say that it is IMO that she was on something far harder than marijuana and that may very well have contributed to what happened to Lucas.
Thank you for sharing. Opiate based addiction is one that users have an extremely difficult experience recovering from. Even those with the strongest of willpower and conviction almost always need a replacement substance. Methadone or Suboxone are often alternative methods of reducing withdrawal sickness. There eventually comes a time when those medications too are difficult to withdraw from.

Addiction just sounds terrible.
So, let's say EG had an addiction. She had just moved from Andover where she grew up to Witchita. One would expect her supplier to be in Andover, where she grew up and had just moved from. Gets me thinking if the 2 strange people that early morning were people sent to her from her supplier for a delivery. (If the story is even true) Andover is 17.5 miles to Witchita.

She didn’t ‘just move’ from Andover to Wichita. She had been in Wichita for several years at least as reportedly they had lived in the Fox Run apartments for several years.

I thought she had lived in Wichita for 3 years? If they were there to do a delivery I can't imagine she would mention them at all to police, unless she did really take a pic of them for some reason and knew LE would find that pic on her phone so had to have some way to explain the pic? Would love to see what she said to JH when she sent the pic to him, if the pic really does exist.

Was he a climber?

No clue, I have no doubt EG abused Lucas, but I have been going through pics to put together slide show for daughters high school grad party and it shocked me how many pics I have of her with bruises - she was a climber and a daredevil when she was little.

A fall off the porch or at a park...could this have been what led them to the parks?

I do find it a tad weird that she was not in control of the money. I was a stay at home mom back in the good ol days and I took care of all the financial stuff. My grandmother on the other hand is a QVC addict and a shopaholic so my grandfather took the financial responsibilities away from her after she failed to pay a few bills. lol. (I love my grandmas shopaholic tendencies though. She gave me a $300 blender and a $600 pots and pans set for helping her move) So I am thinking that if Emily did not handle the financial stuff in the household there may be a reason for it. IMO. I actually think we have speculated on this many threads ago.
