If this theory has a high probability of being correct, I sure hope the authorities are aware? Couldn't they offer said person a plea deal? Or are we banking on this person/these people to still be under the radar....

How do you think he sees Lucas' injuries in his mind? Because he sure isn't seeing them the same way we are and if I'm honest, I find it a complete disservice to his little boy. How can anyone look at him and hear what he has to say about Emily; "she doesn't like me anymore" and think that this is anything other than abuse? Is it because his love for her is greater than his love for Lucas? I don't think I'm expecting anyone to know the answers to this but my god, none of it makes a lick of sense and I feel it's such a disrespect to Lucas. :notgood:

Thx Ana- you took the words right out of my mouth. None of it makes sense, how can it? Either he is in denial, or he knows she is capable of something to this magnitude. Either way, he seems non-committing on any negative aspect including his girlfriend and his son. I am glad I don’t have to live in his brain when he lays down to go to sleep. Is Jonathan that broken that he cannot see this for what it is? So sad!! MOO

I really thought Lucas would of been found by now. I am starting to really worry about it. Actually I just came back from the doctors and it is showing in my A1C numbers. I am diabetic. I told my doctor about Lucas today.

Praying that a break comes soon and Lucas is found.

I also believe JH is concerned that if he admits he knew he could be charged but I think he believes it was not abuse and for him believing that I don’t believe his other children should be in his care

Do you think EG owed a debt and was in trouble and paid debt with Lucas? Then Lucas could of been disposed of farther away when they were done with him or when who ever had him seen how much publicity there was about him. Maybe realizing EG was in jail they thought it would lead to their arrest too so they got rid of Lucas.

Something is missing here. She is very sneaky and deceptive.

Listening to the TV yesterday, I heard one of the female judges say, "What is wrong with your brain cells, because I need them to hold hands." I think this applies here.

The new leader of Kansas Department for Children and Families is getting input from people who want the system fixed. A handful of people showed up at DCF Tuesday, to speak face-to-face with the department's leaders....
A spokesperson for Evan Brewer's family says it's not a lack of funding that is creating the issue here. "It's just shocking because the problems that we've seen in the state of Kansas that we've investigated and branched out don't have to do with funding. They have to do with reporting and being transparent," Shayla Johnston said. "The agency continues to refuses to be transparent and yet wants more state funds because apparently they're not going to be able to qualify for federal funds."

Could JH be charged with something regardless? Turning a blind eye to abuse allegations, leaving a children with someone who is very unfit? I thought he was coming to his senses with deleting everything e.g. related off social media but maybe that was done to come off better to the public?

If anyone helped her, I would believe it would be family. She seemed to implicate Lucas spent a lot of time with the cousins. Birds of a feather flock together.

Will all this rain reveal where Lucas is? Praying today is the day.

I had a couple family members that were on some hard drugs, if they got caught doing anything the first thing they did was turn on each other and it was always the others fault. I can only hope this has already started happening, if 2 people were involved. I want justice for Lucas.

No need to apologize. You're just coming up with ideas like everyone else. It's just really hard to handle imagining that Lucas could have been subject to that.

How long from the last phone call EG made to when she returned home from OG?
Could she have had enough time to swing by and pick up someone (something) and bring that person home with her?
Could that person have been a witness and by failure to stop EG's actions felt pressure to help her cover up?

I'm encouraged by this discussion. Thoughtful and focused members making valid opposing opinions. Now I know why WS is so popular. FWIW, Jonathan still does not believe that Lucas was abused. When presented with quotes or articles regarding the abuse, he deflects to another subject.

It’s difficult for me to believe anyone can still doubt that this poor child was not abused. There is no doubt in my mind. I trust the photos and the words that Lucas spoke.

Lock him up, too. That's all I have to say. He's just as much of a monster as she is, enabling her, then defending her. I don't have any patience with him anymore.

imo, this seems unlikely bc wouldnt the predator person be off the hook if Lucas passed away? how would they get caught now? EG wouldnt be an innocent person in this scenario (shes accepting the drugs/money) so she probably wont be running to the police and the predator would probably be willing to call that bluff. for EG to successfully threaten that person, it would mean she saved photos or some type of tangible evidence that damns this predator but keeps her at bay....if this were the case, it almost seems to fit the premeditated theories and she was stockpiling blackmail against this predator.

I tend to think EG was on a drug-induced manic episode. Bipolar or not. IMO maryjane would not have caused her anger.
From what I have found in court documents, it is pretty clear that Lucas suffered the most danger (bruising) after she and JH fought. This makes me very angry.
I also have thought since the very start that she had help after the fact. It is likely that this person has tipped their hand, so to speak, and just hasn't been arrested yet.
We have no real insite into what LE and especially FBI has hidden from all of us. As it should be if it would not aid in recovering Lucas.
I love the direction this thread is going also.
The thoughts are deep and really specific.
Please keep them coming for Lucas.
