I can't remember...are we or are we not allowed to link to SM sites that have public posts?

This is an updated article released about 45 minutes ago.

http://ksn.com/2018/02/20/police-plan-more-searches-in-case-of-missing-5-year-old-boy/

Looks like they are done searching the parks and are beginning to search new areas today. That's likely what the vehicles are for. Might be searching some fields out in the country. That's one thing about Wichita is that in many places in town you can just drive for a few miles and you will be in the middle of nowhere where you are surrounded by fields and little else.

This is very similar... just less shiny and less “this is a police vehicle!!!” If that makes sense? It wasn’t flashy. They did have sirens but they were hidden inside the windshield and not on top for everyone to see.

Now that's Bad a$$! I want to ride!

Maybe it's to let someone know that the things are about to get REAL!

FIND LUCAS!

Those are Bearcats. They're a tactical vehicle for SWAT. SWAT arrives at the scene in these when police cars etc aren't safe (suspect with weapons that are going to fire long range or pierce a police car, etc). Sometimes a few arrive on scene to approach from different angles. They may be headed somewhere unrelated to Lucas, as it would be strange to be using them in this instance.

So strange... kind of what I figured but there’s really nothing else going on in the news that would call for that type of presence. Especially so close to this area!

Only if it's like a news network, I think... otherwise you have to give us a hint of where we might find interesting comments.

They searched a shed at a neighbor's house (nothing apparent found according to the reporter). Lucas still missing :(

I am kind of surprised they waited so many days to search a neighbor's shed. If a child really does wander off, you'd think things like sheds and garages and such would be searched right away.

I'm thinking that either the 'SWAT tanks' are being used for searching off-road areas. Or there is a training or other event occurring that has nothing to do with Lucas' disappearance.

Ok it's not MSM, BUT it is public from directly involved parties. I guess the only real hint I can give is there is a public post from JO...with a video.

If this is not right...Please, please, please let me know. I don't want to get kicked out, or locked out.

The only social media allowed are Facebook profiles from MSM, LE or official Help Find pages. You can't bring direct quotes over from comments on those pages but you can say "check out the comment section on the Find Lucas page" and provide initials of posters (e.g. Look at EG from 2 hours ago).

I didn't know we could do that! Man, that would have saved me a lot of trouble when I was sharing something yesterday, haha.

Although, the "Help Find Lucas" page on Facebook is ridiculous, honestly.

No. Thank you for checking beforehand.

But I do suggest people look.

What bad things happen in parks?

Illegal drug buys

Illegal weapon buys

Persons looking for or selling sexual favors.

Adults or older teens, hanging out, watching vulnerable children who don’t have a responsible adult paying attention to keep the child from being snatched.

Food trucks maybe? Ice cream truck?

So let’s imagine that someone is stuck at home tending a baby but there is something that person wants in the park. She has bought it there before, so she sends the 5 yr old on a mission to get it.

Now, if this (imaginary) transaction happened while at the previous home and if the child road a bike (or borrowed someone else’s shoes cause he couldn’t find his), staying on a sidewalks where many people walk regularly, would that explain the lack of a strong scent trail from either house, days later?

All sorts of dangers can be found when a 5 yr old is left on his own.

Do we know if any searching of the nearby area by family or helpful or neighbors happened between 3 and 6, before police were called? As far as I’ve read, there is nothing to corroborate exactly when he was last seen.

Just read JO’s post.... there is definitely a threatening comment in there. I want to say I feel like they know something... but I don’t know.

MOO.

I am beginning to think Lucas may not be found in Wichita.

Thanks for opening this door!! I've been wanting to ask, has there been any word of law enforcement in the area Dad works doing any searching?

Plus I realise I can't exactly speak about it so apologies!
