They can't be going by phone pings/gps otherwise just one park would have been searched, right?
Unless someone cased out/drove around to several parks before deciding on one?

I wondered about that also.
Casing out, or hiding different pieces of evidence at different parks?
And if so, maybe they searched the Great Plains/Chisholm Creek first because that was where the phone stayed the longest (e.g., an hour at Great Plains/Chisholm > a half-hour at Harrison > 15 minutes at Dr. Glen Dey/Grove) per location history?
Sorry if this has been answered already I havent caught up yet.
The first two parks, Great Plains/Chisholm Creek and Grove Park will have similar foliage. They are very close in proximity and may even share a creek or water source.
The third park, Harrison. Is very, very different from the other two. The only thing they have in common that I can think of is a cement walking path and a pond. They dont seem to be interested in ponds, so really we are down to a cement walking path.

Maybe there was a SnapChat sent showing a park?
*Possible* Scenario:
Perhaps no one had seen Lucas in several days -either in person or via video chat- and someone inquired about it and was told something like He is finally starting to feel better, but is already in bed, so no chatting now, but definitely tomorrow.
Lucas is still unavailable

, but the inquiring party is expecting something that confirms he is indeed doing better (especially if there have been allegations of abuse in the past), so an old picture or a video wont do.
The inquiring party receives a SnapChat on Sat., say, sometime between 10am and 2pm; the photo shows a particular type of sidewalk and/or a pond, with a caption saying something like, Lucas is feeling so much better! Playing outside today!
A few hours later, Lucas is reported missing from his home.
A scenario like that may explain why multiple parks would be searched, especially if the phones location service was disabled.
It may seem counterintuitive to reveal ones location if they are trying to hide something, but one might also think a picture of a park will work better than, say, something showing the inside of the house, for its purpose. Or if there simply isnt enough time, one might just have to go with the park, rather than an alternative location; they had to be at the park to take care of something, and the picture was a secondary purpose.
But then its also possible that a photo would be sent to mislead the eventual searchers, in which case LE would have to look for other clues as to Lucas location
