Their new home is roughly 5 miles from the school Lucas attends— this distance is just based off of my own knowledge of the area.. so I could be slightly off.

Anyway, it’s unlikely he would get moved to another school. I will do a quick search of the area and see if there are other schools that offer a pre-k program. But it is very unlikely.

ETA- it’s only 3.3 miles. Now it’s even more unlikely that he would change schools.

While the new house is actually way far out of the school boundary map for Beech, I'm not sure they have the same program at the 2 other grade schools much closer.

I just want to pick him up and squeeze him, he's so damned cute! If he is alive and no one in his family wants to raise him, I'll gladly adopt him. I am totally serious. He'd have a great older brother and two sisters that would fight over who was going to spoil him more.

I need to stay off of these threads.

I have a genuine, non-rhetorical question, and it's not meant to imply anything about this particular case...as a member of the mainstream media, what would be a reason you'd withhold an integral adult's name when reporting a story, except in cases when they are a victim and identifying them might irreparably harm them?

Can someone request their name not be released?

Seems like from a quick glance family/and or parents are involved in these too. I just can't imagine how you dispose of a child in that way if that's what happened. Heartbreaking [emoji24][emoji174]

I honestly thought that during the presser he said that they were looking in those areas because of a tip that came in on the tip line. I will look for that.
Also, thought this may not apply, there is often a little bit of truth in a lie. So, I agree it COULD have happened that way, where GF made a statement about a park.

Good point!

Next question: If it was searches based on a tip, what is making them clear one park and move to another without checking the water?

Something they found leads them to not think he's in the water?

That's a good question. I don't think that is typical in cases like this, from my time around here.
I do wonder if they're playing the main players in this case against each other. Maybe LE is using it as a way of giving someone false sense of trust to make them open up about things. IMO

Found it.
"Davidson said that information from a tip line led police to nearby Chisholm Creek Park. Police are also searching Grove Park but would not elaborate further on the tip."

I'm not sure why there have been no water searches at those places.

I'm reaching, but the family knew he was terrified of water, as stated in an interview by Mom. He is not going to purposefully go there....I can't say more.

No but someone else could have put him in there. I hate to type that but they normally send divers in or drain the ponds so why aren't they?

There is a link (to a downloadable PDF) that lists all the Wichita/USD 259 schools with Pre-K programs.

Will be tedious to get each address though and compare (hence the reason I hadn't done it myself yet)

It's an area that has several miles of trails. There is a creek that goes through the middle of the park but about the only way someone could fall into it would be if they were practically trying to fall into it. It's a very popular location for people to go to and parents often take their kids to it as well.

THe creek is currently not very deep right now so it wouldn't be a place someone would try to hide a body at the present time.

O/T, I joined a FB group page for Lucas that apparently doesn't have the rules that we have here. With that being said, I have read a post or 2 from here that I think may have come from there that would not be allowed here. (please don't ask me who it was, I didn't take names) anyway, I have backed out of that group not only because they are making accusations that are not confirmed but also to make sure I don't post something I heard from there thinking it was actually from here ( confusing myself now, hence my issue) Just want to make sure that others who may be following that group to be careful not to bring anything over here that is not MSM. I would hate to loose any of our great people.

They are in the Jefferson district— which has a program. The issue is the pre-k programs are free and fill up VERY fast in these areas. So there is really no way to know if he could transfer unless we call the school and ask if they have openings.

Thanks for finding the link about the tip.

The tip is leading LE to search a park but not specific enough to indicate what park. That is curious, don't you think?

Idk....I think kicking may be more common than we think. More than once, I have experienced being knocked down and kicked while lying on the ground and I'm sure others have, too. When adults are in a rage, emotion takes over and kicking something is no different than hitting or punching, even biting. Not saying that's the case here, jmo.
Also, IIRC, CARD was called out for Mariah Woods and they knew immediately that she was not abducted. They are just super specialized and invaluable in all child missings, not just abductions. Again, I don't know what pertains to this case. Just throwing it out there.
It would be interesting to hear if they borrowed anyone's truck for moving. Have they come out with any kind of appeal such as check your cameras, did you see this car between the hours of...kinda thing? Did I miss it?
I am sorry for you. I have never been kicked or kicked anyone. Too me... that is a bully stance. Just can’t wrap my head around being kicked.

No need to worry....the Mods do a great job. Coldpizza has been doing a great job. You might find a post disappears now and again. :)

P.S. or a stern warning. :)

And then there's the multiple park searches. I can understand a tip coming in about a specific park, but a tip about a park in general where they don't feel the need to look into the water in the areas as well? I can't imagine what type of tip that would be.
