My hope is that since EG is gone now, anyone who may have been protecting her will come forward with information. I'm sure they won't if it implicates themselves, but there may be bits and pieces that didn't "sit right" with EG's behavior and story that will help fit the pieces together better.

My take on the interview.

Still working on both LH and now EG cases. No specific information is going to be provided at this time.

The positive thing I did hear is that he promised at some point in the future he would give more information out to the media and public about the LH case in spite of the fact that EG is no longer alive. He is not going to let her death stop him from wrapping up the LH case and at some point be able to give out the final determinations they have made from their investigation.

She may have confessed to someone and threatened them or their children if they told. Who knows? She murdered Lucas, murdered herself, and maybe her unborn child too. I'm just surprised she didn't take anyone out with her.

When I heard that part about the subpeonas coming back I was thinking it was detailed phone records or something like that. Data dump of entire phone logs or something. Just guessing though.

That would be my thoughts too. Phone records, maybe for additional people, medical records, school records, bank records.

Sidenote: my ex husband- long story, and thankfully long gone from my life - he was a liar and manipulator. As part of some "counseling" he was receiving, he had to keep journals, both for himself and for his counselor. As I was ridding my house of his crap, I mean, as I was packing his things up for him, I came across the journals. They were utterly bizarre to say the least. Made up stories, left and right. Mostly self serving, some "taking responsibility" for things that never happened, and few mentions of his actual sins. I can't even express how weird they were, how WEIRD the lies were. Why bother? Anyway, I have to wonder if EG's notes were in the same vein. Self serving, still only worried about #1, perhaps thoughts twisted by long term drug abuse?

DA says subpoenas were presented and they were going to go through a lot of info beginning today. I'm wondering if someone/somewhere that was served a subpoena told EG they got subpoenaed, and she knew her goose was cooked.

Might be why Shelly said info coming out now.
They are lining up to lie and deceive on Emilys behalf.

I’m very happy to hear that the public will be given details when they finish their investigation. It sounds like this DA is well aware of how much time, effort and money was spent by citizens who wanted to find Lucas.

Everyone who contributed in any way to sleuthing, searching for and finding Lucas give yourselves a round of applause! I’m not sure the community knows how much of yourselves you all put into the search for Lucas.

Most places that provide documentation for a subpoena aren't going to lie. My first thought, was something like bank records. The bank is not supposed to tell a person they're subpoenaed, but often they're just handed to a teller, who signs for them, then sends them off to the person who processes them. If the teller was friendly with EG, they might have told her anyway. But generally document subpoenas are going to be handled by someone more senior in any organization, and not likely to want to try to forge documents for a person it's unlikely they know.

ETA: I wouldn't expect they've subpoenaed any individuals to testify yet, if he said they were working through a lot of documentation. They'd subpoena a person once they have something to present to a grand jury .

Exactly what I expect they were like, and if they had the names of her children on them with her thinking they'd read those things some day.....

( i missed a little here the sound icon on the live feed kept auto turning off ) He said they were actually going to be working starting this morning on those answers to the subpoena’s . Then the death of EG occurred also. He seems to want to assure people they do have people working on. That they are getting answers or a resolution regarding Lucas. It was assurance the public needed to hear when EG was released. He didn’t have the time to give the proper statements at that time.

Again some of this isn’t word for word. Because of the new speaker feature that turns off sound . At least I figured out my sound issues.

Shani claimed she was shot at by JH while searching for Lucas at that abandoned amusement park in Wichita. She fluctuates between kissing his behind and accusing him of stuff. I can't even with these people.

Re: EG autopsy results---IMO they'll be complete once toxicology results are back, and that's usually several weeks after they've been sent to whatever lab will be processing them. So, I wouldn't expect quick results, maybe those responsible for releasing results will postpone releasing results until everything is complete, or maybe they will release a preliminary report, IMO. Now, DM's recordings are even more crucial, IMO.

It's sounding to me that he's feeling the heat as a result of the suicide for not charging EG last week.
