IMO EG might not seem like the brightest person. I get that. But I just don't think it's not possible that she has studied enough cases and watched enough CSI type shows to have pre-planned.
She probably wants us to think she's really dumb at this point.

Someone posted a link to her instagram or Twitter awhile back where she was listening to podcasts... true crime podcasts... she might know more than we think she does. We are almost to day 16 afterall...

Stupid question I think I know the answer to:
Can one "abduct" a child left in their care if they are legally allowed to be the caregiver of that child?
I wouldn't think so.
But moving someone even a few feet without their consent is abduction.

Running on empty here:scared:

The search yesterday was on South Tyler? That’s on the west side of town. Why was that park searched? The original parks that were searched, are they near airports or airstrips? The west side search was by “the airport” - ICT.

I don't think this happened. I think it was part of her initial story -- "i took a shower, and when I got out I saw that he was gone, so I ran around the neighborhood barefoot looking for him!" Waaay TMI, which is why LE was looking for somebody/anybody who could verify. No takers -- because you can't verify what didn't happen.

Also, the neighbor saw Glass while she was allegedly searching for Lucas and even asked him to call 911. If she was barefoot it's likely the neighbor would have noticed. He didn't say anything about it in his interview but IMO if he did see her barefoot he reported it to LE.
That Saturday evening, Glass, the stepmother, showed up at his front door holding her 1-year-old girl. She knocked twice, and when he answered, she said: “Did you see my little son? Call 911.”

“She was nervous. Her hands were shaking. … Nothing suspicious. She looked like somebody who lost their kid.”

Then she ran back to her house, holding her girl.

He put on a jacket and went next door, where she was talking to police on a cellphone.

“She said she looked everywhere.”

Yes, that she was sleeping, that the backdoor was open, THEN that Haleigh was missing. If you were truly scared that your daughter was missing you would say FIRST "MY DAUGHTER IS MISSING!" Then explain that she found the door open.

What was the name of the little baby that went missing end of last year? Anyway, the 911 call there was "I was asleep, my older daughter woke up, she came to us to wake us, and told us that the baby was missing". Instead of "My baby daughter is missing! My older daughter woke me up and she's gone!"

If the first thought is to get their story straight, questions are raised already.

Caliyah.
Dad or step-dad, whatever he was, killed her.

I saw that too! IMO she's thought about this more than once.

I just had the most wiiiierd idea....

I was trying to think of what further insight could possibly be gleamed from Malik Drummond's case, and I remembered when I noticed bruises, etc on some of his pics...

My idea would be a software where LE/FBI/Crimes Against Children Task Force scans SM pics of kids to detect frequent injuries...

Is that crazy or what?! Of course kids have bruises and cuts all the time, so of course that would be the obvious problem/challenge with such a software detection, but what if it happened to crosscheck with an archived complaint via CPS, etc? Or get flagged if the custodials have drug or violent arrests, etc?

If it was KNOWN that this was a thing, unfortunately, I think parents that are abusive would just avoid posting pictures of their kids. :(

We haven't been able to figure that out/no MSM confirmation or a peep from LE regarding vehicles being seized.

(But I assume this has been done, MOO.)

Yes, i also scrolled through her twitter posts & saw that about watching or listening to a crime series. I wonder if there was an episide as to where she could have gotten some ideas.

Just checking in to let everyone know that Tim and the team are in the field and working hard - after taking a quick lunch break. Lots of people are asking about the command center location, but they don’t want it released to the public. Tim and the whole team is pleasantly down to earth and approachable...and knowledgeable. We’re optimistic!

THIS is a great thought! I hope to have some time later this afternoon/evening and will listen to as much as I can of the podcasts posted and see if there’s any other relevant information to those cases as well. I’ll post if anything strikes me in particular.

Great discussion here, everyone!

Caliyah McNabb. I caught some flak for pointing out the alibi building but it didn't take long for others to also suspect mom lied and knew more than she was telling. I still can hear her shouting "Caliyah!" while on the 911 call, as if her infant daughter would come running.

I so hope Glass' 911 call will be released!

I really love hearing everyone's different thoughts and brainstorming! I feel like there is a really good group here (online as well as actual feet on the ground) and it's threads like this I especially value where mature people can have civil and interactive discussions and come together and actually be productive.

I agree, this is an amazing group here. Unbelievable all of the help, love, and support folks are giving day in and day out.

I absolutely loved your post about the plants/trees/soil from the parks and I think that got a lot of wonderful "boots on the ground" members going, searching areas provided by Henry's maps as well as other folks, and being able to rule out certain places.

To the locals, I say a huge thank you to you all:

Props to kansasjason for digging through a pile of dirt yesterday at one of those locations, as well as him checking out other dirty areas many of us would faint at the thought of checking out.

Props to Mrs. Perfectingpink and Mr. Pink for going out daily riding, walking, hiking, searching- this little boy has no idea how much the wonderful locals love and care about him to be looking and searching daily like these great folks.

Royalsfan also driving by areas giving good information on several things around the neighborhood and other areas.

Ram- sorry, I don't remember your exact username, but I know you, too, have been out searching and making great contributions to this thread as well.

<modsnip>

I hope you all keep contributing to this thread until he is found- your posts have been helpful and informative, especially for an east coaster like myself who has no idea the layout of Wichita.

Just so many folks on here doing everything in their power, sending, love, thoughts, and prayers, sharing ideas and theories. Too many to mention, so I just named the locals, but I am very grateful for all of your input, dedication, hard work, and most of all, compassion, to help find this adorable boy.

Amazing group of people not stopping until he is found. It's a real pleasure posting with such a great group, even if I don't always agree with some things, I respect each and every person's thoughts and opinions and there are times when some of you have helped me lean in another direction from where I originally was heading because of great ideas I didn't think of. Thanks.

Hmmm...VERY interesting concept here! While, yes, an abuser is not going to report their own abuse, such a database could be based off of reports from anonymous sources. Teachers, caregivers, doctors, neighbors, friends, family members, etc. An anonymous “tip line” so to speak, where reports could be documented. I wish this could somehow come to fruition.

Marking my spot...

Kudos to Texas EquuSearch and all of the volunteers out there !

Also thanks to LE; they are doing all that they can --- and they cannot be blamed for suspects like EG and possibly others if they've (LE) been lied to. They can only proceed with what they are told.
It's upsetting think think of the efforts being made to find Lucas-- while someone(s) may know very well exactly where he is !

Also thanks to this group at WS -- there have been a lot of helpful suggestions and better yet -- we can 'agree to disagree'.
:moo:

Steeleslady, I'm playing catch-up on my cell, so no quoting you, but you and I must be in the same dream universe. I keep seeing the long brown grass, trees, a dirt mound , some kind of trail, and a fire colored sky....weird
Fire-colored sky could describe the sunsets here.

Yes! I had forgotten about her shouting out for Caliyah now! Wasn't Caliyah only a few weeks old? It was one of the most ridiculous things I'd ever seen apart from Casey Anthony saying she used other resources to find her daughter for 31 days before calling the police. :notgood:

We've heard it all Emily! Just give it up.
