Hi Everyone,

This thread is getting very long but before we start a new one I would like to have Liltexans input. As soon as she
can we will get together and post a new discussion thread. However, I am not sure when that will be but it will be before later tonight.

Thank you for your patience.

Between EG's fake nursing degree, the history of abuse, the birth of a new baby girl, Lucas' recent illness(es), and the million episodes of Forensic Files I've seen, I still get somewhat of a wierd munchausen-type vibe....anyway, just a thought again, that perhaps he was being poisoned. Total speculative brainstorming as usual, and again, not saying tthis is the case. Moo.

Eta:
FLA, how often would Lucas get sick that you know of...would you say it was something that happened more than what might be considered to be usual? If so, what type of symptoms. Stomach stuff? Again, just brainstorming, thinking out loud.

Do I recall Lucas was sick for 2 weeks with a stomach bug before he went missing or did I imagine that? (I need to go back) That's a long time for a stomach bug...? I know strep was mentioned...

*****

Eta: it seems they don't don't call it Munchausan anymore (who knew?):

You are I must be on the NoCo wavelength because I have been thinking Munchausen by-proxy for about 2 weeks!

I agree with the part that says “the incident was discovered on Feb 21...” very confused about that. Sooooo, it took investigators FOUR days to figure out that the house they responded to for a missing child had just been visited exactly one day before and there was a police report of child endangerment for same person who reported the child missing??? And why wouldn’t she have been arrested on the 16th for child endangerment?

And while I’m asking questions, does anyone else feel like the date of report on this police report used to say 2-21 and they then wrote over it to say 2-16??? I really hope the police aren’t being sloppy with this case.

Edited to state the date of REPORT, not offense.
Is it possible that she amost OD'd on the 16th and someone called for help?

I think it boils down to something like this:

2/16: EG buys drugs or has someone over doing drugs while children are home
2/17: EG reports Lucas missing
2/21: In the course of the investigation concerning Lucas’s disappearance, it is learned that EG bought drugs or had someone at her home doing drugs on 2/16. She was arrested at the police station.

I don't think LE found drugs. I think they found something on her phone and questioned someone who told them they were in the home on the 16th and there were drugs. JMO

Good list. One thing that I haven't seen anyone mention yet-- an old tire is about 15-20 lbs according to Google.
Would he have fit inside a rubber tire? She could put the tire in the spare tire spot in the back of her car and if stopped no one would see him there.
I seem to remember someone posting pictures in one of these threads of a pond or creek that had tires in it.
Can anyone find where that was and check those tires?

Bumping my post above. Ok guys, it's driving me crazy. I've searched the threads and can't find where I saw the pictures of tires in a stream.
Anyone?

Yes, this is what I'm thinking too. And either evidence came up regarding this witness or they came forward.

Thank you. I was searching all over trying to find examples of the pictures of her hands with those injuries.

They are strange to be on the first knuckles on most of the fingers. Usually if punching a wall you would injure the knuckle closest to the wrist. Those knuckles she injured are the ones near end of fingers.

I cant think of how she could have done that to both hands. Very strange. Hoping there is some clue there. Ill keep thinking about this.
Thanks again.

And thanks to everyone who is trying so hard to find the poor boy. Such a sad case.
Like the injuries you could get from prying something heavy up, or out? A cover...

I think you’re correct. I’m still confused though about why that police report is dated 2/16 though. I don’t think you can backdate police reports.

Yes something along those lines.

There is one scenario that happened in another case and it could cause injuries on her knuckles like that. If she tried to force the body down a sewer drain and it would not quite fit and she kept trying to shove the body down the drain.

You know those street sewer drains that are not very large. They are usually near the curb and have a metal grate sometimes. I attached a picture of one.

There was another case where a woman killed her husband and tried to shove the body down the drain and it didnt fit so she set the body on fire and left it near the drain.

Is it possible they wrote 2/16 first and it has been sloppily corrected to 2/21?

It oddly states a report time of 18:14 which might be exactly 24 hours before her missing person call, which would also be odd.

Can't wait for clarification in this case, but I'll have to I suppose.

So, who could have been at her home on the 16th that may have viewed/reported her activity? And presumably they would have also seen Lucas at that time.

Cable guy (might fit the 4-6 timeframe) (or other utility company)
Landlord
Neighbor
Smoking Guy
2 nefarious random folks that I don't believe actually exist
father of EG's other children
Drug Dealer
Friends

?

You’re totally right about that 18:14!

There are quite a few odd things about this. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the details. Ugh!

I Wondered about MBP as well. I wondered about poising or overdosing .

Looks like the closest street runoff drains may be S Edgemoor and E Orme Street. Have these been checked?

I think you could be right Zelda -- on the screenshots it cuts off to the left of the "Date of Offense" field, and the "Date of Report" could be a lighter-weight pen trying to write "21" over "16". I clicked the Kake link again to see if the Date of Offense was filled out and it is 2/16 -- so I think it's very possible that in the course of investigation LEO came across "on view" electronic evidence that clearly showed offense taking place and time-stamped to show it was the day before Lucas went missing and that at least the daughter was present. Perhaps the officer that completed the report simply made a mistake the first time and the correction to 21 doesn't show as well as the original mistake of 16. http://www.kake.com/story/37606135/drugs-suspected-in-child-endangerment-case

I would be quite stunned if Lucas had a car seat at all.
(Trying to think if I've seen any pictures of him in the car?)
Maybe FLA or Paddlerboarder can answer that.
If he had anything at all it was likely a booster seat.
It would be difficult to carry a child in a booster since there are no straps holding them in.
It would also be suspicious if the child disappeared with his booster so that would be dumb.

IMO, he should still be in a car seat of some sort.
Lucas is the same age as my brother and my brother is in a car seat still. He uses the shoulder belt now (since he's outgrown the harness) but it's the same car seat he's been in since he was able to go forward facing.
And if EG was still driving on a restricted license, it would be beyond stupid to be driving around with a child who wasn't in a proper seat.

It would be good to check any storm drains even if they dont appear to be quite large enough because a small child may be squeezed through possibly. Would need a good strong flashlight to look down into the drain.

I actually found the case I had remembered where a lady tried to fit an adult body down the storm drain. It was the case where Tracey Frame shot and killed live in boyfriend David Nixon and tried to hide the body. Happened in Texas in 2002.

".....Tracey tried but failed to shove Nixon's body down a storm drain."

Just looked it up, On View means that the police officer viewed the incident either “while on routine patrol or while working an assignment”

That surprises me.

I assumed LE learned something on the 21st about her activities on the 16th (she confessed to using drugs, for example, when questioned about Lucas) rather than the endangerment as something LE witnessed as it happened on the 16th. I'm confused why action wasn't taken at the time???
