Emily Glass, stepmom of Lucas Hernandez, reports seeing two unknown individuals outside her home on February 11, 2018; this was shortly after the family moved into their new home. In an exclusive interview with Fact Finder 12, Glass says she confronted the people and later took a photo of them and sent it to Jonathan Hernandez, Lucas's biological father.

That same day a neighbor reported seeing Lucas outside playing.

Snipped for space.

The bit I left above is interesting - I don't recall hearing before that the stranger incident was on the 11th, the same day Lucas was seen outside.
I wonder when she reported that particular date as being when the strangers were there?

'Actually it was pretty early morning' (on the 11th, presumably)

Hrm.

eta- she said in her interview:
"and I keep thinking back to these two people, um.... that were outside of my house a few days prior,um, a black man and white woman."

I don't like that she says 'a few days prior' with no context. It's easy to assume she means 'a few days prior to Lucas disappearing' - but that's not what she says.
A few days prior to what, precisely? I'd also like to know what her idea of a 'few' is.

She should give more interviews.

There are a zillion trains.

I know that it wouldn't be a GREAT idea, because if he was put in one of the trains cars, he would eventually be found... but I'm wondering if the cars are empty, if they are "looked in" before they are filled with something, like dirt, or rock, or whatever. If not, he'd be covered up for who knows how long, know what I mean?

I don't know. I just heard a train go by and it made me think of it. Just thinking, it'd be quick, and thoughtless, and it wouldn't require much effort or work on her part.

I just keep thinking if there is no evidence that Lucas is deceased in her old apartment, new house, or car...then we sure need to find the crime scene. AFAIK the car has not been impounded so how did he get to his final resting place? Did the incident happen at a party and he was carried a little ways and hidden a bit? Was he transported in someone else's car? This makes me think someone else has knowledge and was possibly an accomplice. If they were high it doesn't seem like they'd be too smart about disposal...he might be fairly easy to find if we just knew where she partied at.

IDK. Just thinking out loud.

It makes me SICK to think that Lucas was possibly so ill when something went down. To think he was abused to death when he already felt like death and wasn't getting proper treatment (speculation) is so traumatic to even think about. Then simply discarded. I have no words, at least not ones I can say on here...

Grabbing at straws:
Maybe EG had poison ivy that officers noticed when responding to her report? Maybe that is why they searched in parks. Or, since LE stated that a tip from the tip line is why they searched where they did, maybe she was into a pharmacy asking about poison ivy cream, etc. and the person behind the counter called that tip in. Or maybe she told someone she got poison ivy when she had the kids at the park, and they called that in.

Do you even have poison ivy there?

Yes, we have poison ivy.

Yes. Especially in hedge rows. But, it is my experience that it dies each winter.

Yes there is poison ivy in Kansas and you can get it in the winter even when there are not leaves if you are extremely sensitive to it. The rash however usually doesn't appear for several days.

I don't doubt for a moment that darling Lucas was sick with the stomach bug, but I will eat my beloved Red Sox hat with gravy on top, if that is the reason why he passed away. If this was the case, a simple phone call to 911 would absolve EG of guilt right away, and a preliminary autopsy would show the COD from dehydration from the flu. Many children and adults have passed away all across the country this year from the flu, no one would doubt this at all, God rest their souls. If she had nothing to hide, she would have just called for help and the panic would be evident of her sorrow and upset over finding him deceased.

But what if he had been deceased for a looong time before she discovered it? Long enough that it would be apparent from his body that he didn't just pass away quietly during a nap, but passed away without anyone noticing him for a long time. That's what I'm thinking MIGHT have happened.

I don't know for sure, of course, but I'm keeping neglect during an illness as a possibility. Or perhaps over medication during an illness.

I get it all year 'round. Even if it's dead, it's still able to attack.

I wonder if poison ivy isn't what we can see on her hands in the jail video?

Ok. Kansas poison ivy must be different than Michigan poison ivy, lol, because I've had the rash break out within hours. Also, even as cold as it gets here (way below freezing) my dad has gotten poison ivy in the winter while out hunting in our woods.
Thanks for the info. As I said, just grabbing at straws. I feel so helpless!

Hmmm, I wonder how nasty it could be if you cut and scrape your hands up in a patch of dormant poison ivy.

This is true. If you touch a tool that has been in your garage all winter and it had previously contacted poison ivy, you can still get a reaction from it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned about a possibility, but I wonder if her hands are scraped/bruised from purging?
She does seem awfully thin to me. I wonder if there's an eating disorder there?
This woman does not seem mentally stable.

Im not sure to think about what appears on her hands - someone here stated it was probably just artifacts from the video.

Very strange!
This is what he said last night!!!!

"Miller says they don't have a time frame for their search, and they'll stay until they aren't needed."

Could he have been found, but it hasn't been made public?
