VI indicated he had been sick for about two weeks before he was reported missing and to focus time line on late Friday afternoon to Saturday. If he had internal injuries he would of gotten progressive worse and not been up and about on the 11th outside when the neighbor saw him. IMO

Yep, I get it immediately too. I've had to have a shot before--my whole face was swelled up.

I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have a patch of itchiness on me somewhere LOL.

Oh yes, the EpiPen. I have one with me at all times- my face blew up along with my left hand- my hand was the size of a baseball glove- over clam digging! I was rushed by ambulance- I didn't bother letting hubby drive me all the way, we stopped at the fire station a few miles from the campground (hospital was 40 minutes away) where they administered a large dose of Benadryl and gave me an EpiPen. I don't think I would have made it to the hospital if we didn't stop at the fire station, as my breathing was labored and my throat was closing. My son is going to an allergist in two weeks for a different allergy, and I believe he'll be toting an EpiPen with him soon himself.

EG could have gotten poison ivy in her back yard, or poison oak. There are other allergies too, but those are the most common. Her hands may have had an allergic reaction, which might lead LE to believe something happened outdoors. Good thinking, Midge Montana.

Maybe digging in the flowerbed was a coverup for that?
She got poison ivy digging around to bury him, and then thought she could "dig around" at home, and explain the poison ivy that way?

I hate to ask this but does EG know anyone with a pig farm, or know anyone who knows someone with a pig farm? West coast girl here, I'm assuming there are pig farms in Kansas.
I know it's a macabre thought, but If you know about Robert Pickton ( Serial Killer) Pig Farmer Canada. You can understand my asking.
As I mentioned in an earlier thread. I think she had help from someone, who knows how to disappear somebody in unconventional ways. Ie not burying them, or dumping them somewhere Ie in the woods, or a body of water.
It curdles my blood.

I didn’t see anyone answer this above. But no we don’t really have pig farms around. There was a butcher in Goddard (west of Wichita) that held pigs for slaughter- I am not sure they are still doing that though.

Most farms in this area are just crop and cows. You don’t see many pig or poultry farms around.

Thank You for clarifying.

I would also presume that the police would have verified this vs. just taken someone’s (EG’s) word for it (checked medical records at his doctor’s office/urgent care/ER). My guess would be that during their investigation in trying to establish some sort of timeline, they discovered Lucas had missed school for x amount of days, questioned EG about his absences, were told that he was sick, and they then verified that through his medical records. Note that our VI stated that he was sick for 2 weeks, with the first week being due specifically to a stomach illness. (MOO)

Anyway, while this info does help us establish an accurate timeline of events, it doesn’t really help us locate sweet Lucas. Just knowing that he was so sick for those 2 weeks though does break my heart even more.

Even if Lucas had just gotten a cold, it could have progressed untreated into something much worse that killed him. Not even anything as bad as a beating or the flu...simple dehydration would have if EG had not cared to or been afraid to take him to the doctor.
Im guessing this may be death from neglect because either she waited too long to take him and then was afraid of losing the baby, or she couldn't take him due to physical proof of abuse and also wanting to keep the baby. (Just something else that was poor Lucas fault)
If that's what happened, his hiding place may be a little more thought out unless she was so drugged up (just saying, I see no indication of that) that she didn't realize how close to death he was. I still think too lazy for burial but could have been scoping out likely places.
The other thing that I'm more inclined to believe based on her history is that she hit him too hard. Frustrated over an accident, over him moving too slowly, getting in the way while unpacking, could be anything. One hard hit to the back of his head when he's already in a compromised state and that's all it took. Likely would have caught her by surprise so a little more careless with hiding him.
Neither of those fit with her taking him out to a party. Quick hookup maybe where she could leave him in the car....or idk, maybe there were kids at the house she was going to and the host said Lucas could crash there. No scratch that cuz I'm not sure she'd want him to be seen.
So would she have taken him somewhere else to be visible?

What if she buried him in a cemetery. Say on top of a newly dug grave. The cadaver dogs would never find him. They would be stopping at every grave. I know it is a terrible thought but we are dealing with a terrible person. Think about it...

I don't know....I mean, 20 years ago when my mom passed, her grave was raw earth, fresh dirt and you could tell it was a new grave... However when my dad passed this last January, they have much better tools now to remove the sod/grass, dig the site, and replace it so its not quite so obvious its new. I have a picture, but IDK if its appropriate here. Would she, or anyone, have the proper tools, to remove/replace sod and leave it looking like the cemetery workers?

How horrible that everyone has to be posting and searching such awful places, dumpsters, culverts, etc etc to find this little guy.

I'd loooooove for Tim to do an interview with EG right now and see what kind of a read he can get from her, apply the pressure, like that time Dr. Phil did to Mark Redwine and Mark almost caved....

I'd like Tim to put that Texas whipass on. Find that place from deep within that only HE knows too well and lay it on thick...whether it be first with compassion and gentility first, first trying to appeal to her emotionally to give this boy and family closure, like he as a parent so desperately needed, and then laying on the hard, stern Texas Whipass if he has to like I'm sure he can. "Look lady...you need to put an end to this circus RIGHT NOW! Your BS is on MY clock and wallet now!" I have no doubt Tim could shred this woman a new arsehole. Tim is one tough 🤬🤬🤬🤬, trust me.

Eta: The more I think about this, the more I think it's a great idea to have Tim have a talk with her. I wonder if this has been considered. I would think he's been wanting to...

Eta: Maybe he did and that's where the Caylee vibe comes from?

(You guys are amazing. In addition to TES, we've got WES!!)

I agree. You can always tell a “fresh” grave from an older one, even when done professionally. My husband is buried at Arlington and my boys and I visit often...it’s very easy to determine who’s new.

Unless she buried him, I don't think he's completely covered up.

I say this because it was night-time most likely, dark out, and she wouldn't be able to see her surroundings well. Unless car headlights illuminated the spot she put him.

The more I think about it, the more frustrating it becomes. He really could be almost anywhere. :(

I can’t find the original poster of the poison ivy thought, but just wanted to give you a shout out ;) Really great thinking!

Seriously, y’all are incredible.

Thanks. I lay in bed at night thinking of these things. My poor brain must wonder why I am asking such things of it each night.

SPECULATION / WHAT IF? / MOO:

It was Friday night, EG had been caring for a baby and a sick child, moving, cleaning and JH was out of state. Future visitation with her boys was in jeopardy and she had to surrender her pet. All of that makes for a stressful week or two. Her FB and Twitter reference marijuana…maybe she purchased some edibles? I know they’re not legal in Kansas, but that doesn’t mean they’re not available. Maybe it was something along these lines that occurred between 4 and 6 PM on that Friday which lead to the child endangerment charge(s). Perhaps evidence of the impending drug transaction was found on her phone and/or the dealer or a witness to the transaction came forward after recognizing Lucas on the news.

LE stated that there was no evidence of abduction, Lucas did not just walk out of the home and there has been no description of her vehicle given to the public. What if a friend picked her up along with the kids and took her somewhere (a lake, park, friend’s house, a party – who knows)? God forbid, but maybe Lucas got into the edibles, maybe they were laced with something. Maybe there was some sort of accident due to her negligence. Whatever happened, I am imagining that Lucas was found unresponsive, and they panicked. They couldn’t call LE because they’d all risk going to jail.

Maybe he wasn’t transported anywhere after he passed. Maybe he was already there. I don’t think EG buried him on her own (but possibly concealed him), but someone else may have. There may have been some truth to her statement that she doesn’t know where he is if someone else actually buried him. I don’t know why, but her statement something to the effect of “I want to tell…but I’m not there yet” makes me think there might have been an accident.

In any case, a scenario something like this would leave Saturday open for her to destroy evidence, concoct her story and maybe even get in a shower and a nap, which she would need if she had been up all night.

I have wanted to chime in for a while because my mind has been running rampant with all the possibilities (as you can probably tell). I hope I have not broken any rules, but just in case, I’m including some links and maybe that will cma:

Lucas baby, you are in my thoughts and prayers every day. :praying:

I've been thinking along the very same lines as you have. Great minds think alike, I guess.

That was Midge Montana and she is a heck of a poster. She comes up with some excellent scenarios, and her posts are always well thought out.

(I literally dream I'm scrolling down through threads and posting, not kidding)

Whether we correctly guess how Lucas died or not, at some point after dark on Friday night, February 16, EG put his little body somewhere.

SAR probably start their searches based on statistics, then spiral out to new ideas from there.

We need to figure out where Lucas is. How can we do that inside this thread?
