The thing with the child endangerment charges that throws me is they have a specific time frame of between 4pm and 6pm. So they have to have some time of evidence something occurred during that exact time frame.

The criminal complaint claims that Glass "unlawfully, knowingly and unreasonably" caused or permitted a one-year-old child "to be placed in a station in which the child's life, body or health may be endangered" on Feb. 16th between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The police report obtained by KAKE News shows that Glass was suspected of using drugs/narcotics.
http://www.kake.com/story/37606135/drugs-suspected-in-child-endangerment-case

The following is SPECULATION ONLY:
I think she left the baby alone from 4-6 and went to a park to score drugs. Possibly she was seen on video or by a neighbor leaving her house and returning home around those times but maybe she was only seen with a baby carrier or stroller--carrying Lucas out?. So she had to admit she left one kid at home. I think Lucas was already deceased by that time and she took his body to get rid of it before getting the drugs. Maybe she could not find her usual dealer so she checked another park or two before finding someone. This would explain the focus on multiple park searches. Maybe someone saw her in a park, the dealer ratted her out, or perhaps they found evidence of the drugs in her home/on her and when confronted she admitted that is the time she went to the park. Plus her phone probably pinged at the parks. She is probably claiming she left both kids at home OR had them with her but they stayed in the car-- either situation puts them in harms way due to drugs. She is probably being stubborn, however, and denying that Lucas was harmed or hidden during this time. Admitting to the drug purchase could be her alibi in her mind. JMO.

So would having a minor in a vehicle that you were seen driving when you were not allowed to be driving in the first place qualify as endangering a child?

I'm sorry, I don't know. (Not an attorney.) :silenced:

We don't know if her drivers license is still restricted. The documents are from October 2017, depending on exactly why it was restricted it could be for a variety of different time frames.

If you are worried about your identity being revealed, then you need to get off the Internet. You are not anonymous. If your privacy is that important, then you truly must get off the internet.

If you are upset because one of your posts is copied to a discussion on Facebook, then you should get off the internet.

If someone has truly threatened you or you can show harassment you do not post about it on Websleuths you call the police instead.

Please know I do understand how upsetting it is to find out people are taking your posts to another forum and tearing you and your post apart. It is awful. There is a solution, and that solution is you ignore it. It is a very hard thing to do, but it really works. The only time you do not ignore it is when you feel you are being threatened.

Random thoughts...

1) Regarding EG taking a shower. Did LE find a damp towel? Was EG's hair still damp when LE arrived? Was her pillow damp, from laying down with wet hair? These would be some pretty clear signs to LE on if she actually really took a shower in the time frame she states.

2) It was stated that Lucas was wearing white socks when he went missing. But...there has been discussion about LE asking if anyone had seen anyone running barefoot. In my opinion, barefoot does not equal wearing socks. I have no thoughts on this except it make me curious. ETA: I was wrong...this is what the statement reads. So, not barefoot.
"We're still searching for a missing, five-year-old, little boy," Officer Davidson said. "That's why we continue to plea and ask our community, if they saw somebody running with no shoes on a couple days ago, or they saw something suspicious, something out of place that might be related to this case, please call us.

3) Valentine's day. Was this an important day to EG? Did something bother her on this day? This can be an important day for relationships and I am just wondering how that day went for EG? And... if it could have any bearing on her mindset in the days that followed.

I know you lovely sleuthers have mentioned feed stores and such for distributing flyers - but what about veterinary clinics and hospitals, both for pets and livestock? I'm just trying to brainstorm more places to reach more eyes of larger property owners.

I know- that story has always bothered me. It paints JH in a bad light, so to speak, if they got into a violent confrontation over her being sexually assaulted. It makes him look like an abuser to the reader's eyes. Of course, there are two sides to every story and this may be just her version that was printed.

It certainly does. Isn't that the ax handle incident? I believe she was actually charged in that incident, wasn't she? So, that's telling too, imo.

Oh, here it is.
Officers couldn’t determine the primary aggressor, a report says. Both were booked into jail. Glass was convicted of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, but the same charge against Hernandez was dismissed.

If she's been telling lies and half-truths, playing the victim, and it has worked for her entire adult life, I fear Lucas will be another DeOrr in my browser history. C'mon WPD! Bring Lucas home.

I agree. Even at night, it’s still fairly busy. Truckers stop for the night, people in and out getting gas/supplies. They’re decently well lit, also.. not many hidden places where no one could see what you’re up to. Those would be very risky places.
Thanks for the info.
On a side note Truckers Missing Child Project is already sharing the current missing poster with truckers nationwide with an emphasis on the entire Wichita area. Uncountable eyes watching.

I've been trying to conjecture the Friday evening in my mind.

What if something happened to Lucas and EG lights up a joint to calm herself down? LE find the joint butt somewhere and ask when it's from and she admits it's from the previous day, so they store the information and then when she becomes too suspicious for them they turn it into a child endangerment charge? One of the media sources that has been quoted in these threads several times does say that they (the media source) think the charge is related to drug or narcotic use, but there's no quote from LE to confirm that.

And then I wonder if it was a clue when EG said in her interview that Lucas 'could' have fallen at some time while she was cooking dinner? "Fallen" being her word for beaten or harmed by her.

I'm not 100% convinced those marks on her knuckles are pixel artifacts? They could be burn marks? I was trying to work out how they might be caused (*if* they were burn marks) from the position of them on her hands? They're bilateral so they'd fit with her having her hands around L's arms and pushing him back against something? All I can think of is the inside of the oven door if it's one that swings out rather than pulls down? I could be wrong about the marks on her hands, though. And there are a hundred different ways we could conjecture something happened to L, even though I am filling the thread with conjecture on it by posting this, I'm also not sure how helpful it is to finding Lucas?

Yes because your license would not be valid at that time.

Yes, it’s not something they normally would charge someone with, but if they were looking for something to lock you up for, they absolutely would.

The bbm statement from LE has been bugging me. I didn't know where to find that statement to quote it. I been wondering if that came from a tip or from cctv. Also what area that would of been in. I at first thought of around the home then I thought maybe not. Is it important?

According to MSM, the police report from EG’s child endangerment charge states that she was suspected of using drugs/narcotics.

http://www.kake.com/story/37606135/drugs-suspected-in-child-endangerment-case

The child endangerment charge is because the child was under her care during the time of her suspected drug use (Friday, 2/16, 4:00-6:00 pm).

“Because of the increase in drug related offenses, some states have enacted presumptions in child endangerment charges. A presumption is a conclusion that is automatically deemed to be correct with no additional evidence. If the presumption is shown, then the burden shifts to the defendant to disprove the presumption. One such presumption involves the consumption of controlled substances around children. For example, if a caregiver ingests methamphetamine in the presence of a child he is responsible for, the law will presume that the child is in imminent danger without any additional proof by the state.”

I would assume it is important, but I don't know how. I only make that assumption because LE has been very quiet, and this is one of the few things they've requested of the public.

A few thoughts

First, normally, in past cases, I feel like I can get a good read on possible disposal sites. Here, with Lucas, I can not! One day I'm thinking a bridge, the next day a field, the next day the side of the road...etc, etc...this is truly a needle in a haystack. You guys are doing an amazing job. It's really hard here considering she could have had many hours.

As mentioned, she had a restricted license; this may have made her more likely to place Lucas closer, as opposed to further away, for fear of being pulled over. I think disposals via vehicle can sometimes occur closer, instead of further out, for fear by the perp of being pulled over with a body in the car. Maybe she felt like how I used to feel when I had weed in the car, before it was legal....always looking in my rear view mirror, almost paranoid and driving slowly... (headlights: "omg, is that a cop?, is that a cop...?").... (Eta: I've eaten many a good joint or tossed a bag out the window just because I was afraid I was about to be pulled over...)

Secondly, it occurred to me last night as I was falling asleep just how little Lucas is---the size of a medium dog. And how getting rid of a body his size wouldn't be that laborsome.

Third, this might be way out there, and way off, but after watching a gazillion episodes of Forensic Files, it would not surprise me if Lucas was being poisoned, hence his illness before he went missing.

Re: TES pulling out for now, they have probably "eliminated" areas that needed to be checked out more thoroughly; as Tim said "we know where he is not." I have no doubt TES will return, should any new leads or information arise.

MOO - I'm thinking whomever she bought the drugs/narcotics from on the 16th told LE in exchange for immunity on the sale charges. This would also be the reason they know Lucas was present and alive up until 6PM when they left. There would really be no way for LE to share this information with the public.

All that to say I agree with the idea that he may have accidently gotten into these drugs.

Ugh, awful thought, maybe placed in a cooler?

GULP...glad you asked, cause he does say with no shoes on...not barefoot...Ill go edit my other post.

IMO, as far as worrying if LE noticed her hair being wet or worrying where the baby was while she was taking a nap or if Lucas was in his room while she was taking a nap, I don’t even think about anything that happened during that 3 hour time frame because IMO none of those things ever happened.

I tend to agree with this!
