Dear Everyone,
Please hit the "Thank You" button so I know you have read this post.
This will be the last time I discuss Facebook in this thread.
The approved Facebook pages are:
Emily Glass
Law Enforcement
Mainstream Media
Texas Equasearch
Missing Pieces Network.
You are not allowed to discuss whether or not your post is being copied or what is being said on Facebook about you and your post.
When you decide your post being copied is more important than the search for Lucas you know what happens? All of a sudden the discussion turns into all about YOU. What does having someone copy a post and taking it to FB have to do with the disappearance of Lucas? NOTHING!!!!!
If you are worried about your identity being revealed, then you need to get off the Internet. You are not anonymous. If your privacy is that important, then you truly must get off the internet.
If you are upset because one of your posts is copied to a discussion on Facebook, then you should get off the internet.
If someone has truly threatened you or you can show harassment you do not post about it on Websleuths you call the police instead.
Please know I do understand how upsetting it is to find out people are taking your posts to another forum and tearing you and your post apart. It is awful. There is a solution, and that solution is you ignore it. It is a very hard thing to do, but it really works. The only time you do not ignore it is when you feel you are being threatened.
When you walk away from the computer all of this stuff doesn't matter. It does not exist when you turn off whatever you are using and step back.
If you have a question about our terms of service you can PM lil'texans or me. My email is in my signature below. Email me but please do not talk about our Terms of Service in the thread about Lucas.
FYI, Your posts do become the property of Websleuths as soon as you hit "submit reply".
We will be issuing time-outs and bans shortly.
Finally, when you are making a post, and you are about to hit "submit reply" ask yourself if the post is about you or Lucas. If it is about you, do not post it. If not then, please post.
Thank you,
Tricia Griffith
