And I assume something led them to that area. Perhaps her former residence in in that direction?
Still, the river area search depresses me.

If her car was totaled, wouldn’t her insurance company cut her a check for the cash valve of the car?

So that’s not anywhere close to where she was last seen or her mothers house?

If it was insured for replacement value, they would.
However, if one has the minimum (legally required in KY) insurance, it would only cover liability and personal injury.

This in my MOO has nothing to do with the elephant in the room. And a few know what I am talking about. All the talk of the small group Missing in America and the link to the founder.
This is not about them, even though press keeps naming them.
This is about ANDREA.
THE LE is involved.
There is a PI involved.
Her family is involved.
Community is involved.
We here at Websluths are involved.
I know we need to know some questions we have, but with other cases we know how that can work.
The time line is weird at this point to us, it always is at first.
Please focus on ANDREA AND NOT THE DRAMA OF who is a small part of the searches but the bigger picture as a whole.
This mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, human being that is missing.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say...... If I ever go missing nobody put that I attended searches for the missing.
It seems so much negativity because of her being involved with that group and some have lost focus and calling out the group instead of ANDREA.
I PRAY SHE IS NOT DECEASED SOMEWHERE AND WE EAT OUR WORDS.
I do not feel she was anything but upset, stressed and was loosing hope.
Life had knocked her down. I just pray she is somewhere that she can get back up.
I have a hurricane headed this way. Prepping and praying.
I hope we get better answers soon about ANDREA. Until then good day my friends.

I don’t see anything on her Facebook not since February. Was it set to private now?

I am also getting the same weird vibe about the lack of info and defensiveness. I think the argument with her sister was about something the family considers unflattering (I.e. drugs).

I hope the family is working with LE as closely as they are with Missing in America. I major side eye that “organization” and get the feeling they are itching to be the ones to “solve the case” instead of LE.

They are working with the Louisville police

Her last interaction with facebook was february 2018 so I don't think she has hidden anything.

Her sister confirmed on the Finding Andrea facebook page that she got into an argument before she came to her house and that she was not drunk or on drugs.

I think the continued references to Missing in America is press-driven, and came to light Bc MIA was leading the charge when she went missing.
What I “would” like to know, is, how did MIA find out she was missing? If I went missing, my family wouldn’t come on here to tell you lol.

It sounds like she was a member and close friend of the founder.

MOO. I think MIA has a few chapters.
I think the founder went into retirement a while. Andrea was know to the curcit and a lot of her friends were also hooked up with orginazations for the missing. Founder is one of the many and there is a lot searching. I do think she (founder)and several are running the find Andrea missing page. MOO
I hope for answers today.
I do not feel this is a volunteer missing person. Too many boots on the ground for that. It is heartbreaking
Andrea where are you?

Yeah, I think something bad happened to her. Jmo

Idk. I know national media has picked up on it but there’s still very little locally. I think LMPD might think she voluntarily took off, just bc there’s been no actual response from LMPD yet, other than they have no leads and want people to call with tips.

Is this normal for LMPD I see so many missing. As another article you posted re: detective on her case. I think the tight lip from LE maybe no leads no evidence pointing either way.
We know she took off on foot, right?
Taking off and disappearing this long leads me to believe where ever she is, she is there now not by choice. JMO

Sad but yes I feel that way. MOO
Just not sure what the bad is yet.
The missing is bad enough, just hope the end is bright.

I think of the case of Mike Kimsey. Very little info from LE (early on and even later) regarding Kimsey's disappearance. He was later found dead not too far from his home.

But, I suppose that's just one case out of many. And Kimsey disappeared in 2015... several yrs ago but it still comes to mind.

Found Deceased - KY - James 'Mike' Kimsey, 48, Louisville, 29 May 2015
