Is this normal for LMPD I see so many missing. As another article you posted re: detective on her case. I think the tight lip from LE maybe no leads no evidence pointing either way.
We know she took off on foot, right?
Taking off and disappearing this long leads me to believe where ever she is, she is there now not by choice. JMO

It is pretty typical. There have been a few missing people over the years that lmpd really pushes in the media and gave interviews and updates about but each of them ended up being victims of foul play. Their lack of urgency makes me think she willingly walked away somewhere. I just watched this video earlier today and even her family hasn’t ruled out her voluntarily going off somewhere. It’s towards the end of the video

Wow that's her father right. No wonder LMPD is quite. Even her dad said she knew how to disappear. I hope she did just that and is somewhere watching all of this. However if she is, she pretty much cried wolf. Then he stated she could of got in a strangers car. SMH
I guess we are all clueless. I noticed he never mentioned self harm.

I think of the case of Mike Kimsey. Very little info from LE (early on and even later) regarding Kimsey's disappearance. He was later found dead not too far from his home.

But, I suppose that's just one case out of many. And Kimsey disappeared in 2015... several yrs ago but it still comes to mind.

Found Deceased - KY - James 'Mike' Kimsey, 48, Louisville, 29 May 2015

The big one that I think of is Andrew Compton from a few years ago. He went missing and the response was pretty immediate. LMPD’s FB is really active and I’m surprised they haven’t shared her missing picture if they had any suspicion of her being in a dangerous situation. I just hope they don’t wait and it turns out that something bad happened to her that night.

Yehhh that felt really weird when I watched it. And the pleas from her sister letting her know that she’s loved and cared for make me think she was extremely distraught that night

I feel like with her work with MIA, she would know to not do this voluntarily and would know the heartache it would cause to just hide out and not tell anyone with how worried everyone is.

I really hope not either. I don’t think she did it for attention or as like a scam. I just worry that she left the house that night, really upset, and did something. I’m not gna lie though, I think the happiest ending would be for her to just be laying low somewhere.

I have felt that all along. But the above video with her father brought it down 10%. Maybe she was angry and said hey I will just disappear MOO. Then really not meaning it. She actually did. not wanting too and fell into foul play. I do feel self harm a little higher now.
I am just not feeling this running away attention seeking bull crap being implied.

Agree but my evidence keeps flip flopping. We all have very little.
Come on ANDREA where and what is happening.
I SENCE some dysfunction in family emotions. JMO. But stress and worry causes no sleep not eating. The questions these families have do not ever stop, spinning in there mind.
So sad for her family, her son's, the searchers, and all her beloved ones.
To all invested in this thread.
I have a headache from that last video.
Breathing deep.

I don't think she is missing on purpose.

That would be so cruel to do that

I also don't think she killed herself.

I hope LE has some leads or else we will be back here in a year still discussing what might have happened to Andrea.

I just can’t believe no cameras anywhere caught anything. She just went poof.
I want to believe a missing persons advocate would know better than to get into a car with a stranger.
If she was calling people for rides, I don’t think she staged her own disappearance.

When she called people, did she actually connect with them or leave a voice mail? If she connected, did they decline to pick her up?

I'm unclear about that detail.

She tried to facetime someone but they missed a call.

Only MOO THE FACE TIME CALL, did not connect due to friend asleep.
Not sure of others. JMO
Would not you think that she had to connect with someone as how could they know she was calling for rides. Maybe she left a voicemail.

They could pull the call log from the provider, but yeah I assume she left at least one VM
Oh Andrea, where are you??

And I assume something led them to that area. Perhaps her former residence in in that direction?
Still, the river area search depresses me.
because she could take a shortcut through there to get to her parents.

It is not near the river. It's a ditch with a bridge over it.

We were talking about the pics from the other day down by the river. The walking bridge is in the background of one of them, and I was using it as a point of reference.

I wish they were able to say she left “x” street and was walking to “y” street. It would make it a little more clear. From the finding Andrea page, it looks like they’re needing volunteers to put up fliers in the Lexington area. I didn’t see anything definitive when people asked if tips were leading them out there, just a comment that she had friends and family in the area. If she’s in Lexington, it’s safe to say she probably didn’t walk that far.
