Were the police officers who served the warrant the same ones who sought the warrant?

Is there a floor plan for her apartment? I'm super late to the thread.

There was a link posted a few pages upthread that reported Mattingly provided info that mail sent to Glover was being delivered to Taylors' address. But reporting is so lousy, I need confirmation from different links. However, he wasn't the one that made the warrant request. You are right about the warrant requester being involved in the raid.

In the spirit of truth, what would be wrong with the transparency of actually seeing & reviewing the report? So much is disturbing in this case; I don’t think a responsible citizen should take the word of someone whose job it is to defend his employers. Moo

Is it common for GJ testimony to be released now before a trial?

I was under the impression its confidential, but I may be mistaken.

I can't recall at the moment, but are transcripts in a GJ entered at trial or do the actual witnesses who testified before the GJ also testify at trial?

TIA

I have to with respect disagree with the fact that the warrant has no bearing on this case, that was the first cog in this disaster so saying that lying to get the warrant did not set all of this in motion is like saying a person who gets drunk in a bar and kills someone with there car has no bearing with them being arrested for vehicular homicide.
and to simply suspend someone who lies to a Judge that results in an innocent person being killed just makes no sense to me. again with the upmost respect for your opinion.

The warrant set this disasterous change of events in motion. My point was I felt it had no bearing on the guilt or innocence of the 3 officers actions that night.

IMO when I heard the jail recordings of JG and BT in the podcast upthread it took me back to my younger days when I made bad decisions because of relationships & put myself in dangerous situations. She was all in with him. Later she had tried to turn things around, blocked his # etc. Unfortunately, it was too late. After her death, he was recorded talking to another female. His main concern was where his 10 grand was because he said she had stashed his $. So sad. IMO she knew he was dangerous. Maybe after the rental car incident, she knew it was time to move on.

Unfortunately, sometimes our bad decisions haunt us for a long time. For BT, she paid the price of her life for being involved with JG. Did she deserve to die? Of course not. But, all tragedies are not crimes or worthy of grand jury indictments.

All respectfully IMO

It is not the Grand Jury information that is being asked to be released, it is the investigative reports that led to the search warrant application as well as the investigative reports after the killing of Breonna Taylor.
You are correct Grand Jury testimony is not released.

It really isn't a fact, it is your opinion: others believe it was negligence.
It has been reported that is what the GJ has found so it is fact, not my opinion. What "others" are you talking about?

I am not saying LE should not have the right to fire back if fired on.
But announcing you are LE would be the first step so a homeowner is a stand your ground state would solve some of this issue Breonna's home was considered a "soft target" so a NKW would not have been needed.
Then after they were fired upon they should have stayed in the apartment and cuffed the person shooting while also rendering aid to the person they shot, not retreat to the parking lot so the homeowner still had no idea it was LE and without LE knowing if they killed all in the home after 32 shots.
They did knock and announce. It was on the whiteboard shown in MSM. And a neighbour heard the announcing. So they should stay to be shot at again, is that what you are saying? By retreating they saved the officer's life but unfortunately could not render aid to Breonna as they had been shot at and could have been shot at again and all be dead.

Couldn't agree more. Hankison deserves the charges against him. I don't have the link in front of me but upthread there was an article that said officer Mattingly observed Hankison really jacked up & had to calm him down before the raid.
I would imagine he shot like that to cover the other officer to assist the injured officer out of the house to save his life.

The rental car incident happened in 2016, she was still involved with him as recently as January. He made multiple trips to her apartment, she was seen with him in front of one of the trap houses, he was using her car and he was calling her from jail. In February, he gave her phone number as his own when he filed a complaint against the police for towing her car as well as he was using her address for mail.

She was turning her life around but at the same time she still had one foot in the door as far as being involved with Glover

Please do not take this as I am covering for Glover because I am not and I won't but the fact that he was using her address to have packages delivered to is not indicitive of drugs being funneled through her address, LMPD had already been told by the postal inspector who can open packages and see the contents that there were no drugs being funneled through that manner the fact the LMPD lied about that on the warrant application is more of a problem for me.. Breonna made some terrible choices when it came to Glover there is no denying that, but does making a bad choice or a boyfriend, ex boyfriend deserve the death penalty I think not. And you have mentioned illegal activity by her current boyfriend Kenneth Walker can you fill me in on what that was?

I don't think I have mentioned illegal activity by KW but please quote me if I have and I will respond. I have just posted a link that may have some more info in it. We must post links for facts.
