Missing all day.......at this point it might be best case if a non-custodial parent came and picked up the child.

Since nothing has been mentioned about the parents by now I am thinking that perhaps they do not live with Charlee.

Where are the Mom and Dad, is it possible one of them picked her up without letting anyone know?

Ummm....signs of autism? Sleeping till 10.00am with a 2 year old? Going radio silent now
Yeah, my thoughts as well. Grandfather leaves for work at 5:30, Grandmother wakes up at 10:00? 2 year old autistic child left alone for 4+ hours. Doesn’t sound good. Hoping for the best however.

Checking in on Charlee and Penney. May God lead them home.

They had two pit bulls, but only Penny was missing. The little girl is autistic. She is non-verbal and only grunts. The little girl's nickname is "Mo." That's what the searchers were yelling today as they searched.

There looks like there are lots of trails off of that road where she went missing. I hope they are checking all those ponds around there. I would imagine that the dog would be barking it's head off if she fell in one that was close to a house. I wonder if there was a trail her family frequently walked with her.

The words grandfather and grandmother conjure up older white haired people. It's quite possible they are in their 40s and young themselves.

Maybe they should be shouting for Penny, too.

I don't know what to think right now... I should probably sit on my hands.

Was this the regular routine? Grandpa leaves for work at 5:30 am, Grandma sleeps until 10 while the 2 year old autistic child is unattended?

I feel like so little family information has been released, less than what is usually reported.

Wouldn’t it help if, for example, it was reported where the parents lived? So neighbors could be on the lookout if perhaps Mom or Dad had picked her up, maybe just a lack of communication with the grandparents?

I would assume if LE even suspected that one of the parents might have picked her up they would release information on make/model of the parent’s car.

Google Maps

House is in 600 block of Winding Hollow Rd. ...I just put a pin in at 640 and there is only one house in the area. Very rural, as people have said.

Does anyone know if the grandparents were out looking for Charlee with the rest of the searchers? Has it been confirmed that they have two pit bulls, or is this all just coming from the grandparents?

WAVE News 3 had a live Facebook feed that I missed by the time I could get to hear it. There are comments. Someone mentioned that the mom was there.

Gosh this is getting scary. I hate her being out there overnight. At least it shouldn't be too cold.

Praying this little one is found and her doggy too. Does she have a favorite song from a Disney movie, cartoon etc. it may draw her out.

I would love nothing more than for this pit bull Penny to stay with Charlee until she is found. Pit bulls have such a bad reputation that it scares me thinking of it being alone with this child.

However, I pray that Penny is an exceptional dog and will guard and protect Charlee. Perhaps Charlee will not be scared tonight since Penny is with her. Xoxo
