MISSING: Police looking for 42-year-old woman missing for days

Louisville Metro Police Department issued an endangered missing person alert for a 42-year-old woman missing since Monday.

Louisville Metro Police Department issued an endangered missing person alert for a 42-year-old woman missing since Monday.

Miriam Hope, 42, was last seen in the 3900 block of Accomack Drive, which is off of Westport Road near Fincastle.

Police said she is in need of medical attention and is possibly having a psychological episode.

Police describe Hope as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall foot five and weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said they don't know what she is wearing and where she is headed.

Coroner IDs body recovered from Ohio River near Waterfront Park

A dead body was found in the Ohio River on Saturday, according to Louisville Metro Police.

The Jefferson County Coroner's office has identified the body found in the Ohio River on Saturday as that of 42-year-old Miriam Hope of Louisville.

The cause of death is consistent with drowning.

However, the manner of death is still pending.

The body was found in the Ohio River on Saturday, according to Louisville Metro Police.

A call came into MetroSafe around 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 15 from someone who said they saw what they believed to be a body in the river.

Authorities arrived on the scene near the area of the Big Four Bridge and the Waterfront Park to confirm the dead body in the river.

Louisville Fire worked to recover the body.
