Divorce delayed for Kaine Horman as Kyron still missing

Judge Henry Kantor delayed the case until August 1 of this year.

Well, not if we're all in an old folks home by the time whatever it is is released. I really don't think he was referring to the sexting...but...who knows?

Thought of Kyron last night, and the bizarre circumstances of this case, and took a peek in here to see if anything was new.

What you wrote, about an official declaring years ago that we would be shocked with the information their investigation's uncovered so far....BOTHERS ME GREATLY. I don't remember another case where officials made that kind of statement, and then everything and everyone went completely silent for years. In fact, officials don't normally make statements like that (do they?). Then again, it could have been a "lie" to ellicit a response from whomever.

I cannot imagine they uncovered something so shocking, then decided they didn't have enough to prosecute and shoved everything in a cold case locker somewhere. I'd like to think they're monitoring whatever they uncovered very carefully...but who knows.

Maybe that statement had something do to with the supposed murder for hire plot.

Does anyone believe the emails where terri claimed kyrons dad was a mean person?
He doesnt look the part, but then again you can never really tell.
When I read over those emails again it kind of made me wonder if maybe he could be a scary person and thats why she sent her older son to live elsewhere and possibly sent kyron somewhere because she was afraid of kaine. Its a possbility and that would give her motive to hide kyron. Other than that, what would be the motive? I feel theres a high chance shes responsible, but, it does seem like she cared for kyron.

Or it could go the other way.. maybe she knew her relationship with kaine was rocky and wanted to remove both children from a previous marriage out of the picture and have a happy little family with them and theirrrr bio child. Thats possible too. Being a step parent isnt easy.

If she felt either way, and had simply hidden Kyron, I can't imagine her self protection overriding the protection of her little girl. That is to say, if she thought Kaine would would harm her oldest child and her step child. Would she leave her little tiny daughter in his home just to keep from being punished for hiding Kyron? It doesn't seem so to me, but stranger things have happened, I'm sure. And if she thought everything would blow over and she would get back together with Kaine, she can't think that anymore could she? (MOO)

I'm glad to see there are activities to keep Kyron's name out there, and in people's minds. This disappearance must get solved, and it's taking way too long. The word's of Kyron's dear mother, Desiree, seem very appropriate: (paraphrased) - "....ask Terri Moulton Horman where Kyron is. Ask her what happened to Kyron!"

I think it's time for Terri to speak up and help bring Kyron home.

Kyron, your mother will never give up on you. She has proven that already. We are not giving up on you either.

It's almost the 3-year anniversary of Kyron's disappearance...almost a year since Desiree filed her suit...Is anything being planned by the family or community?

It really is time for Kyron to come home...OR some bold action by law enforcement/DA's Office.

400 people attended a candlelight vigil for Kyron last night and only one little article in one local news site. KGW and KATU, Kyron is not old news, he is still missing! When you consider that size of turn out after three years, it is represents that the community has not forgotten. It is still hoping and praying for his return. This is the time to put him back in the news and to assist Kaine and Desiree in putting the pressure on.

Are there any celebrities that come from near that area? I remember that when Polly Klaas was missing (and after she was found) a celebrity helped with various efforts by lending her name, etc. I believe it was Winona Ryder, but I could be wrong about that. The point is, maybe some celebrity attention might rally additional press coverage?

It is too late to edit my last post, I guess. My apologies, I pulled up an old article about a vigil held much closer to the time Kyron went missing. The vigil held on 6/1/13 only had 40 people or so and KGW did run a news article. It just wasn't loaded at the time I looked for news of the vigil. Here is the article.
