NOPD searching for man reported missing after not making flight

According to the friends who reported him missing, Charles Rockhold was last seen Thursday at 4 a.m. in the 500 block of Jefferson Davis Parkway.

Rockhold last texted his friends that morning at 9 a.m.

He was scheduled to fly back home to Ohio at 5:00 p.m. but did not show up to the airport for his flight, according to the NOPD.

There is a north and a south Jefferson Davis Parkway. Neither looks to be an area where anyone ought to be at that time of the morning. Who saw him at 4 a.m. and under what circumstances?

New Orleans is a strange and beautiful place. Someday I might move there. The last time I visited I extended my trip and considered staying... my host there was tempting me with a room and a job and I almost couldn’t say no.
hopefully he’s gotten some type of inspiration and his time in NOLA is not yet over. I know, pretty wishful thinking.. hope he’s found soon!
