Eccentrics unite. I live in Suburbia USA and I don't turn into my driveway if there's someone behind me either. Well, unless it is one of my neighbors...then I'm okay with it.

A.C.I., can you offer any info into your other two POI? Peobably not, but it couldn't hurt to ask! You're giving everyone more hope than LE at this point, just knowing that SOMETHING is in the works and being looked at is comforting, IMO.

One was in the area that night. Has a criminal history of drug use, assault and rape. Name was mentioned while canvassing the area.

The other I cant really talk about withought identifying them.

But I am working diligently on all three until some new info, evidence or leads comes forth

The perp is too organized for this to be done by someone who is mentally ill. Just think, an organized offender has a different site for abduction, murder, and often several dumping grounds. A disorganized offender would've dumped the bike and Mickey in the same place without regard to whether the body would be found or not.

Well, here is my personal input from being a violent crime victim and having PTSD as a result. Certain triggering events will cause you to have panic/anxiety attacks.

The driving in circles could be the result of obsessiveness, anxiety, etc.

Also, if he knew he was being followed, that could cause additional anxiety, IMO.

Not every mental health professional understands what victims of violent crime have gone through, especially if they never experienced it themselves.

The reason I became a social worker and mental health professional was because of my own mental health issues...the insight into my own health has opened so many doors with patients

This got me thinking, she wasn't feeling great that night, so what if she stopped somewhere for a breather because she was feeling she'd be sick? I know she refused a ride home, but she wouldn't be the first or the last person to think they were good to walk or bike a short distance but feel otherwise mid-trip.

Thank you for all of your diligence ACI. Even though we know you're not getting paid for this, you are giving an incredible amount of time towards it. I pray that it comes back to you in spades (in the best possible sense of course!).

This must be your lucky night - I'll give you a free diagnosis and I'm not even a psychologist. From a mom's perspective - you are guilty...of something.

Thats just one of three suspects I have. The family PI and LE know about him, but I don't know if they ever pursued the lead. As far as the sketch...no idea

I can see why you would have to check it out. If something similar had happened to my child and then another girl is missing in my area, I would do absolutely anything to help find her. Maybe I would be obsessed with it. The feeling of losing a child, the everyday agony he felt while his child was missing must have been awful. The news is filled with these types of parents searching for missing people. Perhaps he lied because he can't deal with his emotions. So many men feel they have to act tough. He could still be a creep...and a good guy at the same time. But hopefully not a killer.

I think the volunteer office has moved. I'm not sure this means the searches are over, unless the office is just open to hand out flyers.

There is no way to tell what this perp might do whether or not they're organized or disorganized. Practically everyone has a tv and lord knows there are enough police shows on which could give hints to someone about what not what not to do.

Mental health isn't an immediate way of eliminating a suspect. If anything you need to look deeper and think outside the box of a suspect with such an impairment. If it seems to organized, or too unorganized then there's actually organization within the disorganization. The brain is a complex thing. If being clumsy and leaving a trail behind seems so to you, it most likely isn't to a suspect. Their lives may be so unorganized that it has become the new "normal" for them. And depending on their treatment or lack of treatment, they can adapt and become so clever that it would appear to be the work of someone without any mental health issues...lol sorry if this seems confusing
