So how was the male able to make a debit card withdrawl? That would indicate he obtained Nathan's pin number. We've seen that in other cases, the victim gives the information under duress.Wife of missing Ga. man 'praying for a miracle' after Baton Rouge disappearance
His wife said she reviewed one video from the greyhound station and a black male used NM bank card to withdrawal money. She said that’s all the video she’s been able to see so far and he’s still missing
I don’t know. She didn’t say in the interview. So how was the male able to make a debit card withdrawl? That would indicate he obtained Nathan's pin number. We've seen that in other cases, the victim gives the information under duress.
When I read his wife "froze" his card, I thought that was a big mistake. That's a lost opportunity to catch the man and maybe find Nathan![]()
I have been to this area on several occasions to visit the USS Kidd museum ship (very well preserved WWII destroyer lovingly maintained by an army of volunteers) and the parks around the State house. My thoughts go out to his family as they continue the search. Welcome and excellent post. BBMI had the same thought about the PIN. It shows that this has to be more than someone finding a wallet. The thing about Baton Rouge, especially at night… crime is rampant, and hiding a body is not going to be high on the list of priorities for the bad guys.
I can’t help but to wonder if maybe this is a case of him wanting to fall off the grid… cash withdrawal by “someone else” —possibility of this person being a random offered $20 to make a withdrawal while Nathan stood out of sight of an ATM camera? Same person purchased a bus ticket for him to get outta dodge?
Things I want to know:
-What’s on his cell phone? Recent texts/calls to anyone not his wife?
-Bus station must have cameras… who purchased the ticket? What was the destination? Did that person board the bus? Did that person make it to the destination? Have we talked with the bus driver to see if they remember anything out of the ordinary?
-A cursory review of the family’s finances. Debt? Recent life insurance changes or policy purchases? Has there been a siphoning of cash over a period of time? The money tells so much if there’s something hinky going on and is a good way to rule out any kind of financial conspiracy.
If someone wanted to disappear, using our beloved Baton Rouge and its out of control crime and overwhelmed law enforcement resources would be a great place to start.
he went to the hotel first and ask them to do a well check.Interesting that the client went to the police 1 hour after NM was supposed to meet him at 8am. I would have probably thought NM may have had too much to drink and overslept.
It sounds like police don't think the man who found and used (or tried to use? It still isn't clear if any of the transactions were successfully completed) Nathan's debit card doesn't have any connection to his disappearance. Unless the homeless man had Nathan's PIN, it seems more likely that he just found the card on the ground and decided to try and use it.Newly released pictures show missing man in downtown BR before his disappearance
Millard went with a client to Happy's Irish Pub on 3rd Street, where sources say a worker later cut him off because he had too much to drink. He left for the hotel around 11:30 p.m. while his client stayed behind to close out his tab at the bar.
His phone and wallet were apparently found several blocks away, but Millard has not been seen since, a source close to the family said.
Sources also tell WBRZ that a homeless man was caught on camera using Millard's credit card at a Greyhound bus station in Baton Rouge sometime after that, but that person has since been questioned by law enforcement and released.
Great map! But if he fell in the water, I'm guessing he would have still had his phone and wallet with him.
That is his client and a friend of Nathan’s according to his friend Matt Still.View attachment 406478

When were these taken? Before or after the basketball game? Who is the other guy?
