O/T a tad. Is there a thread for those little inconsistencies in LA, GA and CA stories?
Hi, shannahg! I am in North Louisiana. We have the pleasure of the South Louisiana visitors to our city when a hurricane 'is acoming'! We love you all! I have also lost power due to the backlash storms!
:blowkiss:
I have 3 gas cans. One for the riding lawn mower, one for the 4 wheeler, and one for the Harley (my brothers). So there are 3 five gallon gas cans in the shop in the back.
There is also a generator for the ice storms we might have every 5 years or so!
I have, my 18 yr old son. And exhausting doesn't even begin to describe it. Some kids just don't turn out the way you would like, even with the best parenting skills. I am flawed, like most other parents, but I have 3 other children who have turned out absolutely wonderfully. One is at college on full scholarship, another in the military, and the "baby" is a straight "A" student in high school. Never a lick of trouble, no drinking or drugs, stealing or lying... great, great kids.
Being in the unique position of having a teen with alot of issues, I do not blame these parents one iota. I have not always agreed with everything they have said or done, but my position affords me the latitude to err on the side of leniency with regards to their actions. To me they have done the best they could at any given time. I can't imagine myself not breaking and making a few faux pas under all the media scrutiny while protesters screamed obscenities and vulgar comments - all the while trying to come to terms with the fact that my grandbaby was missing and might not ever come home again.
...and that my daughter is responsible.
I just think we need to focus on the person who is responsible for this precious loss of life, and not criminalize the grandparents. I seem to be in the minority here, but that's jmo.
My heart goes out to you George and Cindy, may you both find some peace amidst the pain you now feel and the heartache that will surely accompany it in the coming months.
Ummmm, Yes I can, and I would definitely not be supporting my murdering daughter. It would be tough love and cutting her out of my life!We can only assume and state what we would do...but until we have been there (and God I hope none of us ever will be)...we really can't say without a doubt how we would act and feel under the same circumstance as they.
Johnson's towing is what I am sure you meant to say. Amscot is where the car was towed from.
This isn't about "pleasing" me. I'm just stating my strong feelings as you are. It's all good to differ. There's no requirement that we agree on how people should act. This forum would not exist if we had no opinions. Wishing you the best, I appreciate the opportunity to express my frustration with the family while I respect the same for you.

You are so right! Isn't it amazing that NO ONE is hunting for the "real killer." That's because she is already sitting in the jail cell, IMO. I mean, they aren't even putting forth a 'token effort' - even OJ did that much! Wouldn't a jury find that strange? Gosh, even appearances can't be all that important to these people...not one of them felt the need to mention that a murderer is running loose among the poor unsuspecting locals of Florida whose children could possibly be next. That's because the real murderer is in jail eating beef jerky and peanut butter cups - she can't harm anyone's children now, can she? :behindbar
Ok...now I gotta go look!Yeah, but I'll wager you have some duct tape.
That's a good point. I don't believe I have seen a thread specifically stating the inconsistencies but it would probably be a good idea to have. Anyone know of an ongoing log on WS for this?

Ditto! Perfectly said.
Forgive me if this was said earlier or an another thread, but isn't it amazing how GA's spin on KC and the trunk story was completely different with Greta last night than it was with LE? That's the kind of stuff that infuriates me. I noticed CA holding his hand in a death grip when he was telling the story. They talk to the public like we're all a bunch of idiots. One of my favorites was when CA told LKL the pic of KC at Fusian was "staged because she was working." I bring this stuff up because I think that's why a lot of us have trouble viewing them as truly grieving grandparents and cutting them the slack they might need. We've been deceived by them the way they've been deceived by KC. They have even lied to LE. Speaking for myself, I vacillate between feeling sorry for them and real anger.
CocoPie my oldest dd is almost 30, her problems didn't start till just before she turned 21. She had been a wonderful child even through her teens and it's heartbreaking the way her life is turning out. My youngest just turned 20, none of my others have the problems the first gets herself into. All we can do is hope and pray whatever leads them to make the decisions they make will eventually no longer seem so great and be grateful for the others who have been easier on us (LOL).
While I don't agree with what they have done, I don't hold the A's responsible for KC's actions. They have all my compassion. :blowkiss:
Thank Goodness most of the members here have perfect kids who will never be in trouble. I'd hate to think about the kids being abandoned in droves when they need their parents most. While I make my daughter responsible for her own actions, I still love her as much as ever.
Thank you both! And look, a sub thread for GA Inconsistencies. Oopey. Closed. Not sure this will work but I will give it a try:

So, George had to do a special interview, off-camera, to tell everybody that they will be back to do on-camera interviews after the funeral. The self importance of these people never ceases to amaze me. I hope that they will be given zero media time in the future. Enough is enough. I couldn't care less if I ever heard or saw them again. As for seeing KC, I am sure it is KC that won't see them.
Following on your thoughts, I DON'T hold the A's responsible for their daughter. I DO hold them responsible for their own statements and actions. Your example is exactly what I am talking about. The four videos detailing the inconsistencies (mistruths) they have put to the worried public further showed their own lack of honesty and forthrightness. IMO, once again.
They batten down the hatches immediately after the 911 call. And if GA had his choice, it would have been before that. He didn't count on narcissistic Ca getting so pissed off over having her car and money stolen. Otherwise, we would never had heard of Caylee missing and the A's would have told everyone she was adopted out, her father's family took her...yada, yada, yada....
George knew on July15, that Caylee was no longer with use, listen to his interview with the FBI July 31. He can take another way out. I don't feel sorry for him.
