I wonder what time of day it was when he went into Sleep Country? That could give a better timeline for when Laura was murdered.

Millard was by himself when he came into the store, Bassi says. He saw Millard one other time, to sell him another mattress.

Bassi believes the next time #Millard came to buy a mattress he was with a younger man, maybe in his 20s, he says. After July 2012

Oct 21, 2012, #Millard bought another mattress from Sleep Country. Queen sized, with box spring.

Crown is done. #Millard has questions. "Good afternoon Mr. Bassi." He wants to know how many mattresses he'd bought from Sleep Country

Just as an aside....

There was an earlier discussion about how Laura could have been shot and no one hear anything and I wanted to touch on that.

A co-worker lives approx. 100 ft. from a convenience store in Toronto that was robbed on Saturday afternoon (in broad daylight). The thief discharged his handgun shattering the glass door.

No one heard it. None of the neighbours heard anything. She didn't know about it until the Swat team came through her backyard telling her to go inside.

So, it is entirely possible for a gun to be discharged in close proximity to other homes and no one hears anything.

I find it unbelievable but I guess I now have to believe it's possible.

Also a time with a lot of fireworks going on.

for someone with money their house was in disarray it seems. Beds with no frames. Sliding doors missing glass, chunky soup and crackers? Living a life of luxury

No unpaid labour to spruce things up for them.

Bassi has a list of three transactions for #Millard, starting in 2010. "Did I, in July, tell you who I was buying the mattress for?"

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago

During one purchase #Millard told Bassi that the bed was for his studio office, he recalls. #Millard wants to know if he has other cust #s

Possible #Millard bought beds under a different phone number, Bassi agrees. "Did I tell you how many properties I had?"

To me it's more of a question as to why the hell would he shoot her there when he has a farm? Why would he risk it. Can't be THAT stupid...then again they keep proving me yes they can

Bassi doesn't remember #Millard talking about his properties. "Your memory seems pretty good." Wonders if there was issue when he wanted bed

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 20s21 seconds ago

Bassi says there was no issue, it's normal to take a week to get a bed. #Millard suggests the wait was going to be longer at that point.

Bassi remembers #Millard in store. "Did I seem agitated?" No, Bassi says Millard was always polite. "Not that I was worried, under pressure"

......Typical Psychopath behavior IMO

Didn't he have no properties at that time? His dad did, or bought the farm for him, with no house.

June 4, 2013, he provided his log book to police, showing he had delivered a bed to #Millard. Log book is mess that makes court chuckle

He wasn't expecting his notes to be shown in court, witness agrees with judge. Crown deciphers the notes about daily deliveries.

Some confusion over delivery address because previous Sleep Country sale went to #Millard Oakville home. 2012 bed was for Maple Gate

Witness doesn't remember being sent to the wrong address in Oakville. That delivery, according to his records, was $100, Typical cost.
